Lochte, 34, wrote alongside his post, “BOOM! Baby number 2! Can’t wait to bring my fam of 4 to #tokyo2020, while Reid wrote alongside her post, We are SO SO EXCITED! Baby #2. We can’t wait to meet you already!”
The couple spoke to PEOPLE exclusively about their baby news, “Caiden is hands down the best part of our lives, so we can’t wait to grow our family together and watch him become a big brother!”
The Olympic swimmer married the former Playboy model and exchanged vows at their Flordia home in January. The couple then exchanged their vows for a second time in a more extravagant affair in September that took place at Morrow Ranch in Palm Springs, California.
Their son Caiden served as his parents ring bearer for the nuptials. Lochte and Reid revealed they decided on a long engagement so they could include their son on their special day.
“Since we had Caiden, we both wanted him to be a part of our wedding in some way,” said Lochte.

“We wanted Caiden to be old enough to walk down the aisle,” added Reid. “One of our visions was to have him be able to be the ring bearer, so it’s perfect timing!”
The baby news couldn’t have come at a more perfect time for the couple. In October the six-time gold medalist announced he would be seeking treatment for alcohol addiction after the athlete was involved in a car accident.
