Here are some photos of Amber Heard yesterday in NYC where she’s promoting Magic Mike XXL. Everyone knows this sequel is all about objectification, but Amber keeps talking about how she’s tired of playing sexy roles in sexy movies. So it’s weird that Amber signed on to play Channing Tatum’s girl, but maybe she’s a serious character.
Amber sat down with co-star Andie MacDowell to speak with Australia’s Sunrise morning program. The subject turned to Terriergate, which never would have happened if Amber and Johnny Depp hadn’t smuggled their dogs down under without following quarantine. Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce publicly called Johnny out and booted Pistol and Boo from the country. We heard rumors that Johnny was upset and wanted to leave the Pirates set, which sounded like a pouty toddler tantrum. Amber’s still angry about the whole mess, and she thinks Barnaby Joyce was only piggybacking on her enormous fame:
“I have a feeling we’re going to avoid the land Down Under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there. I don’t know, I guess everyone tries to go for their 15 minutes, including some government officials.”

What’s amazing about this story is that Amber is talking to an Aussie news outlet. She’s acting completely disrespectful, and she believes that celebrities shouldn’t have to obey civilian laws. Quarantine is for the masses, not Johnny Depp and his wife!
There are a few other stories about Amber and Johnny. He just placed his French estate on the block. This is the same place where Johnny set up a vineyard for Vanessa Paradis. The home has 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms and sits on 37 acres (it’s own village). The sale will include all furnishings and perhaps a stray scarf or two.
Another story originates from OK!, so it may not be true. Johnny reportedly allows Amber “complete access to his bank account” and allows her to spend at will because “it gives him more power.” Surely, Johnny’s not that blinded, right?
