I do wonder if the cast of Ted Lasso feel a bit sad and angry over the end of the show. For Hannah Waddingham especially, this made her a household name. So many actors got their big breaks from this show too. Like… can’t we have one more season, please, as a treat?? Anyway, here are photos from the big Ted Lasso Season 3 premiere in LA. Hannah wore a black jumpsuit with a train and wet-look hair. It’s… not great. She wanted to play Rebecca forever!
Jason Sudeikis just wore a high-fashion tracksuit to the premiere.
Toheeb Jimoh – I hope he gets so much work post-Lasso.
Brett Goldstein, aka He’s here, he’s there, he’s every f–king where ROY KENT.
Cristo Fernandez, best hair of the show.
James Lance aka Trent Crimm, The Independent. Second best hair on the show. I really love his minor character arc, it’s so cool.
Phil Dunster, himbo.
Brendan Hunt, making a bold fashion choice.
Hayden Panettiere is making a comeback after stepping out of the spotlight the past few years due to personal struggles. She’s reprising her role as Kirby Reed in the upcoming Scream VI. It’s very unclear exactly how that will happen considering the events of Scream 4, but we’ll see. Last year, Hayden started opening up about getting out of an abusive relationship and giving up custody of her daughter. Now she’s speaking to Women’s Health about her struggles with alcohol and sleep deprivation:
On struggling with alcoholism: “I was being told how to be and how to live by so many people in my life,” she says. “I wanted certain decisions to be my own, and nobody could stop me. What I put in my body was like an act of defiance.” Her drinking ramped up in 2014 after giving birth to her daughter and dealing with crippling postpartum depression. “I should have gone on antidepressants [to cope with the postpartum depression], but you have to find the right one that works for you,” she says. “They don’t mix well with alcohol, and I wasn’t ready to stop drinking.”
On her personal struggles being written into her TV storyline: “They wrote my character as having postpartum depression,” says Hayden, whose daughter was going back and forth between Nashville and Ukraine (with her father) at the time. “They wrote that she abandoned her child and went to a different country. And it was very difficult to go on-set and to act out these feelings about these things that I was truly going through in my real life.”
On sleep deprivation: Hayden eventually left the industry and the public eye to work on herself but returned to drinking to manage anxiety. That’s when her physical health caved. “I struggled with sleep deprivation,” she says. “Sleep is massive. It affects your motor skills, your ability to think, and your overall health.” “My body was like, ‘enough,’” she continues. “I hit 30. My face was swollen. I had jaundice. My eyes were yellow. I had to go to a liver specialist. I was holding on to weight that wasn’t normally there. My hair was thin and coming out in clumps.” She went back to treatment in 2021, enrolled in a 12-step program, and even went to trauma therapy.
So Hayden did this interview in January before her younger brother’s recent passing. My gosh, Hayden has really been through it. The way she describes her journey into alcoholism is very clear. She was a child star and wanted some measure of control over her own life as soon as she was able to take it. And the cycle with the postpartum depression and unwillingness to take anti-depressants is sad but also understandable: she didn’t want to give up alcohol, which she knew gave her comfort. I knew she went to rehab and was vaguely aware that Nashville recreated that storyline with her character, but I didn’t realize they drew so liberally from Hayden’s personal struggles for her character. It’s truly cruel that they included things like her postpartum depression and her custody dispute. It would be one thing if she was okay with it because she wanted to increase awareness, but that wasn’t the case and those writers are cruel hacks. Also, I knew sleep deprivation was a big deal, but I didn’t realize it could have some of the effects Hayden described. I slept two hours last night so I’m taking that as a personal cautionary tale. Anyway, Hayden does seem like she’s in a much better place these days and looking toward the future and moving forward. I hope she has additional support in light of the death of her brother.

Camo Keen! Pardon me, that’s Colonel Camo Keen! Today, the Princess of Wales put on her military jeggings for a photo-op with the 1st Battalion Irish Guards. When Prince William became the Prince of Wales, apparently that title means that he can no longer hold an honorary position with the Irish Guards, so his “colonel” position was transferred to his wife, and William was given a position with the Welsh Guards.
All of that means that Kate was called on to serve her country by donning olive jeggings and posing for photos in the snow. She traveled to Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire and wandering around the Irish Guards’ training sessions. She kept removing her cap and gloves for photos and you know her ass was cold. Honestly, these pics made me sad because we haven’t gotten hardly any snow this winter. I’m also curious to know if she was asked to wear a certain kind of outfit and she just turned up in her jeggings. Hm.
PS… I’m sure the nickname in the Instagram caption is the official military nickname but it still sounds pretty offensive!
It’s been years now, and I’m still surprised when I see the royal rota running the exact same play every single time. The chronology is always this: the Windsors do something clearly punitive and awful to the Sussexes, then the British media convinces everyone that the Sussexes are distraught and “overreacting” to what happened, and then everything gets blamed on the Sussexes like they’re the instigators. That’s exactly the play being run with the Frogmore Cottage eviction, as the rota is now crying about how Harry will use the eviction as an “excuse” to not come to the coronation.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond thinks the couple will use the eviction as “another excuse” to not attend the Coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
“They may use that as another excuse since they’ve already got son Archie’s 4th birthday celebrations as a ‘get-out’,” she claimed. “It’s incredibly awkward – the choreography, where they sit, what role they have, watching Camilla’s family and fraught with tension and awkwardness, and Harry might just feel he doesn’t want to be there.”
The royal expert is still feeling optimistic, adding: “But I’m still hopeful, for Charles’ sake, that he will go.”
If Charles wanted Harry to come for the Chubbly, he’s got a terrible way of showing it. Probably because what Charles really wants is to treat Harry like sh-t as a way to show “strength,” and then Charles will play the victim if and when Harry (rightly) tells his father to f–k all the way off. Meanwhile, Harry has lived in North America for more than three years, but Lady Victoria Hervey thinks it’s only NOW that Harry is “close to being exiled.”
Prince Harry is close to “being exiled” from his family after “self-sabotaging” his relationship with his brother Prince William, according to Lady Victoria Hervey. The model, 46, described the relationship between the two brothers as having become like Cain and Abel, the first two sons of Adam and Eve.
Lady Victoria said: “I think Prince Harry is self-sabotaging his relationship with his brother so much so that it has now become Cain and Abel. It’s becoming a bit of a blood sport. Harry is getting himself closer and closer to being exiled. I think he’s only one or two steps away from that happening.”
She also said Harry is trying to portray himself as a victim.
“I think he’s pushing the line as much as possible so that happens and he can wallow in Victimhood,” Lady Victoria told The Mirror.
These people are just utterly deranged. William is the one running around, telling everyone that he “f–king hates” Harry and Harry’s “sociopath” wife. William is the one smearing them to this day. William is the one violently assaulting his brother. But no, Harry is the saboteur, right?
Sweden’s Princess Madeleine married Christopher O’Neill in 2013. In the past ten years, they’ve lived in London, New York, Stockholm and Florida. They actually moved to Florida full-time in 2018, where they raised their three kids in total privacy. Seriously, we only see the O’Neill kids when they attend official events in Sweden or when Madeleine posts photos on her social media. In 2019, King Carl Gustav announced that Madeleine’s kids and Prince Carl Philip’s kids would no longer be “royal” – they would not carry the Swedish version of “HRH” and they were no longer considered part of the “royal house.” It wasn’t shocking for Madeleine’s kids, given that she was already raising them outside of the royal system. It was shocking for Carl Philip’s kids, given that CP is the king’s only son and CP has always lived in Sweden. Anyway, I have no idea if this is related, but it turns out that Madeleine and Christopher are moving back to Sweden?
Princess Madeleine of Sweden will return to her home country after living in Florida since 2018, the Swedish palace announced on Tuesday. “HRH Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O’Neill, together with their children, will move to Stockholm in August 2023,” they said in a statement, adding that they’ll relocate to Sweden “indefinitely.” They will reside in an apartment at Stockholm’s Royal Stables.
Their two eldest children, 9-year-old Princess Leonore and 7-year-old Prince Nicolas, will begin elementary school in Stockholm in the fall, while 4-year-old Princess Adrienne will start preschool. Princess Madeleine documented her family’s life in America on Instagram, from celebrating Halloween in costume to exploring Florida’s beaches.
Princess Madeleine and her family were familiar with the United States before their permanent move to Florida in 2018. On top of having a summer home in Florida, they previously lived in New York City. Madeleine moved to the Big Apple in 2010, where she began working for mother Queen Silvia’s World Childhood Foundation as a projects manager. The couple lived in New York during the early years of their marriage, even welcoming their first child, Princess Leonore, at a private hospital stateside.
Christopher’s job is “financier” which I assume means that he’s rich from a combination of family money and good business sense. Certain kinds of jobs can be done anywhere, and given their travels, I think O’Neill can probably manage his portfolio wherever he chooses. So why leave Florida? Perhaps Christopher and Madeleine were simply tired of living there. I’m exhausted from hearing about Florida these days – Ron DeSantis has made the state Ground Zero of the GOP’s culture wars. DeSantis is less than a year away from holding public book burnings and creating LGBTQ+ gulags. That’s my big theory: the real-world political climate in Florida was driving Madeleine and Christopher crazy. Or maybe it’s something else, who knows.

As soon as QEII passed away, Prince Harry and Meghan’s two children became the grandchildren of the monarch, and as such, they automatically became Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. While King Charles had openly discussed changing the Letters Patent in 1917 specifically to remove the royal titles of his two mixed-race grandchildren, he has not done so. Instead, Charles has spent months openly harassing the Sussexes over whether or not he was going to “punish” their children. Charles considered the titles to be his “bargaining chip” and his people were openly saying that Lili and Archie’s titles “need to be earned.” Again, he has not changed the Letters Patent. So here we are: with Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson referring to “Princess Lilibet” in the confirmation of her christening.
Announcing Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana! For the first time, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have referred to their children’s royal titles. While confirming the news of Lilibet’s recent christening, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told PEOPLE on Wednesday: “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor.”
Upon the death of Queen Elizabeth in September, Harry’s father became King Charles — and as grandchildren of the monarch, 3-year-old Archie and 1-year-old Lili were afforded the titles of prince and princess. PEOPLE understands that the titles will be used in formal settings and not in everyday use.
The rule was established by King George V after he issued a Letters Patent in 1917 that read: “…the grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms.”
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet did not receive the titles when they were born because they were great-grandchildren of the monarch. Instead, they were styled as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.” Their prince and princess titles are not yet reflected on the royal family’s official website, but PEOPLE understands the palace will update the website to reflect the children’s titles.
When Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, were married in May 2018, Queen Elizabeth gave them the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Archie was entitled to the “courtesy title” of Earl of Dumbarton upon his birth, but the couple did not give him a courtesy title at that time. Down the line, Archie could be given the secondary Sussex title before inheriting the dukedom.
Yeah – it’s as I said. It’s not a matter of “earning” the titles or Charles “giving” the children the titles, it’s that he hasn’t changed the Letters Patent (yet) and so those are the children’s titles now. The end. But of course, the royal reporters began freaking out immediately, because how dare Meghan and Harry have the audacity to follow the Letters Patent and they’re being uppity!! As People notes, the royal reporters ran screaming to Buckingham Palace and the palace is now saying that they’ll change the royal website to reflect the kids’ titles, which is what should have happened right after QEII’s death. The Daily Beast’s Royalist also made it sound like the Sussexes were contemptibly overstepping by merely referring to the kids with their titles:
There has been speculation that the unwillingness to acknowledge the children as prince and princess was linked to the collapse of the relationship between the couple and the royals. The couple now appear to have run out of patience and have instead put it up to the royals to explicitly deny the children the titles if they so wish.
Lilibet still appears as Miss Lilibet Mountbatten Windsor on the official royal website and her older brother, Archie, appears as Master Archie. Rumors are circulating that this may now be changed, indicating the palace will accept the legitimacy of the titles, but the fact it is having to be done in response to the Sussex announcement will be likely to infuriate the palace old guard.
The palace was contacted for comment Wednesday but has not responded. A palace source, however, confirmed the use of title was accurate and said the website would be updated in due course.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe, former royal editor at The Sun, told The Daily Beast: “The Sussexes dared the palace to contradict them. It’s a very uncompromising move.”
A friend of King Charles told The Daily Beast: “The kids are entitled to the titles by convention. It’s just rather amazing that Harry and Meghan want to inflict them on their children, given the extent of their disappointment with the institution.”
Given that Harry invited his garbage family to the christening and they refused, I assume that he didn’t just spring this title issue on his family – Harry is as fed up with his father’s dithering and vindictiveness too, so Harry was just like “f–k it, those are the kids’ titles, dad hasn’t changed it, so whatever.” Charles was likely trying to hold the title issue over Harry’s head as a way to get him to the coronation too.

The Oscars are on Sunday and I’ve been waiting for the inevitable “what if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex go to the Oscars” stories in the British media. They’ve tried variations on that story for several years, usually with a twist of “well, tut tut, why would Harry and Meghan even be invited?!” Maybe this year will be different! Because it looks like Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, will be attending the Oscars. Because she’s close to the Presley family, and Baz Luhrmann’s cracked-out Elvis movie is up for several awards.
The Duchess of York is set to hand out a gong at the Oscars on Sunday — thanks to her close ties with Elvis Presley’s family. Sarah Ferguson, 63, has been tipped to appear at the LA ceremony — with the Elvis biopic up for eight awards.
A source said: “There have been discussions about The Duchess attending and it now looks as though that will happen — the plan is for her to present an award. She has been a very close friend of the Presley family, especially Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie, and she even spoke at her funeral recently. That sparked some conversations about the possibility of her attending – and after some back and forth it looks like it’s happening.”
The royal has been spending a lot of time in the US of late as she looks to reinvent herself away from scandals at home, alongside her estranged ex-husband Prince Andrew.
The source added: “It’s a big deal to have her there, but it’s a big deal for the Duchess too. America looks likely to play a big part in her future after the problems in the UK over recent years.”
Despite divorcing in 1996, Fergie and Andrew remain close and still live together at Royal Lodge, Windsor, after reconciling their acrimonious split.
Fergie has lived in America and Switzerland at various points of the past 30 years when the heat got to be too much for her in the UK. But for a while now, she has lived rent-free in Royal Lodge with Prince Andrew, and lord knows where she’ll end up if Andrew is sent to a smaller home on the Windsor estate. That’s probably why her daughters helped her arrange the purchase of that Mayfair home – maybe Fergie finally has her own place in London? Who knows. But I doubt Fergie will be moving back to America…
As for the Oscar presenting stuff… I would think that Oscar producers would be much more interested in getting Harry and Meghan to present. It would be bizarre to ask Fergie (of all people!!!) to do a presenter gig on behalf of Elvis.

The more we hear about Pedro Pascal, the more he seems like an awesome person. He’s gracious, he’s a good ally and he can act. You truly care about his characters on The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, where you can’t even see his face. I’ve been watching The Last of Us and while I know his character likely survives*, it’s stressful seeing the things that Joel and Ellie go through. I’m avoiding spoilers from the video game, but people who played the game have a good idea how it’s going to turn out. Sony, the parent company of Playstation, has an interview with the video game creators, the shows executive producers and stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. My favorite bit was when Pedro explained how he told his sister, who was on bluetooth in her car, that he was in talks for the role and his nephews freaked out and told him he had to get it. The video also features previously aired scenes from the show which mirror the video game. Here’s some of what they said in the interview, and you can watch it below.
Showrunner Craig Manzin on casting Pedro Pascal as Joel
Part of our job as casting is to find people that don’t have to work very hard to embody a character. We knew we wanted somebody that projected a certain kind of strength, that kind of paternal energy, but also, underneath it, a pain. And something in the eyes that was sort of undeniable. That’s an interesting combination of somebody that can do terrible violence, and can go into a red mist, but then also has just such a wellspring of emotion and humanity.Pascal on telling his sister about the job
It was a fascinating 24 hours. I don’t know if you guys recall. Where we met, talked, and then decided we would be doing this together. And, I called my sister within this short window to tell her about this job that I wanted really badly, and she was in the car driving my nephews to school, and I was on speaker, and I didn’t even know that they were in the car. I was like, ‘I’m having a conversation about this amazing job. It’s based on a video game, actually, and it’s called “The La-.”And then, Bruno and Pedro were like, “The Last of Us?” You have to get this job! Mommy, pull over!
Neil Druckmann (Co-President of Naughty Dog, video game creator) on fans
I also think that’s why fans are so protective of these characters, because they’ve been those characters.
Can you imagine what a cool uncle he is? He’s on the Mandalorian AND The Last of Us. My son didn’t play that game as he didn’t get a Playstation until later, so I’m not familiar with the story beyond the basics. There are some scenes that come across like a video game, but they’re not distracting. Maybe it’s just hard for me to watch it without applying that filter to it. For what it’s worth, most fans of the game seem to approve of the adaptation and viewers love it and aren’t complaining that it’s adapted from a game. The only thing that bothers me is how brutal it is to supporting characters, the NPCs in the game. The fourth episode was so hard to take and I almost stopped watching. I’m not going to quit this show though, it’s too good and I’m too invested now. The showrunner nailed Pedro’s personality when he said he was looking for someone paternal who has both brutality and vulnerability. Bella Ramsey has those qualities too and you really understand how these characters are so bonded to each other.
Here’s that interview! Warning that both videos below have spoilers for previously aired episodes of The Last of Us.
After I wrote this up, Sony released part two of their Creator to Creator series featuring The Last of Us. I was so pleased to see that they gave Bella Ramsey more space to speak, it seemed like they were talking over her in the first episode. She’s 19 years old and she’s phenomenally talented. It comes across like showrunner Craig Manzin works hard to create a safe, collaborative set. I especially liked the part where she explained how she gives the best performances when she gets out of her own head.
Big fan of this cinematic universe where Pedro Pascal just wanders around collecting random orphans like they’re Pokémon. pic.twitter.com/8IH7DEXiYL

I’m aghast at how many “polls” are being conducted on or about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Like… they’re not taking taxpayer money, they’re not running for office, they’re sitting in Montecito and raising their children and doing successful commercial projects. That’s it. Why the f–k are media outlets constantly and feverishly hiring pollsters to conduct these inane polls about Harry and Meghan? Why can’t British people keep the Sussexes’ names out of their g–damn mouths for two seconds? Well, now Bloomberg has gotten in on the action. BONKERS. Bloomberg conducted a poll of British people as to whether they’d like to see the Sussexes attend the coronation. GMAFB.
Most British people want Prince Harry to attend King Charles III’s coronation in May, but would like his wife Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew to stay away. A Bloomberg/Deltapoll survey showed 41% of people support Prince Harry attending the coronation, with 37% saying he should not attend, and 22% saying they did not know.
The results were less positive for his wife, the Duchess of Sussex. The poll said that if Harry did attend, 43% said she should stay home. However, another 39% of people endorsed her attendance.
“An immediate decision on whether the duke and duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time,” according to a spokesperson for the couple. They’re reportedly mulling over options now.
The survey found even less support for Prince Andrew to attend, with 46% saying he should not be there, 36% saying he should, and 17% saying they did not know.
The survey was conducted by Deltapoll with 1,060 people in Great Britain between February 24 and 27, before it was confirmed that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan had received an invitation.
The absolute f–king audacity is mindblowing. The audacity of British folks to say that Harry “should” come to this clownshow Chubbly but he should leave his wife at home. Frankly, after three years of this sh-t, I’m disgusted and I hope Harry and Meghan are too. The Windsors have layered on so much toxicity and made the Sussexes the centerpiece of all coronation conversations, all for… this. All to encourage Harry to come and leave Meghan at home, so that his family can abuse him in public.
One year after “the slap” at the 2022 Oscars, Chris Rock addressed Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in his Netflix special, which aired last Friday. It took him a year to figure out what to say and, in that year, he never once had a moment where he considered altering his worldview or perhaps made the decision to speak differently about Black women. In the aftermath of his special, the reaction has been pretty remarkable: overwhelming disgust at Rock’s blatant pandering to a white audience, disgust that Rock continues to attack Jada, a woman who has done nothing to him, and disgust with Rock’s contradictory, nonsensical attacks on Meghan Markle. One year after the slap, it feels like even more people are like “wow, I understand why Will Smith slapped him.”
Interestingly enough, around the one-year anniversary, Jada’s friends are talking too. Jada must have been unsettled by Rock’s continued and unprovoked attacks on her in his Netflix show, where he repeatedly referred to her as “bitch” and shared his delusions that Jada had somehow been criticizing him for years (she has not). Jada’s people said it flat-out: Rock has been obsessed with Jada in this bizarre way for almost 30 years. He even filmed the Netflix thing in Baltimore, Jada’s hometown. Well, Chris Rock read that People story and he ran straight to Page Six to cry about how he didn’t pick Jada’s hometown because of Jada. Some highlights:
Rock’s side says Will Smith still hasn’t “personally apologized”: Will Smith still has not personally apologized to Chris Rock nearly one year after the infamous 2022 Oscars slap, a source tells Page Six. “Will did call Chris last year after the Oscars, but Chris didn’t pick up. And they haven’t spoken since,” a source who knows both men tells Page Six exclusively. “Chris was open for a call until Will made his public apologies, and then all of those ‘Red Table Talk’ discussions,” the insider continues, referring to Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show, on which she once shared her hope that her husband and his onetime friend could “reconcile.”
Will’s multiple apologies: Smith, 54, has apologized for the incident twice via Instagram: in a written statement the day after the awards show in March 2022 and in an emotional video in July. “Will’s two public apologies were all about saving his own reputation,” the source claims to us. “Will has not apologized to Chris Rock in person — and Chris isn’t expecting it.”
Rock’s closure: In fact, Rock, 58, is ready to move on now that he has said his piece in his live special. “This was closure for Chris,” our source says. “He wanted to do that in a safe space.”
Why Rock filmed in Baltimore: The insider also denies a recent People magazine report that claimed Rock chose to film his special in Baltimore because Pinkett Smith, 51, grew up there. “[He] performed there five times last year, and he loves the audience,” the source explains. “The choice of venue wasn’t because Chris has been obsessed with Jada ‘for 30 years,’ as it had been claimed. It is because he feels comfortable in the venue and audience.”
He liked the vibe of… Baltimore? Don’t get me wrong, Baltimore is a vibrant American city. But… Rock could have gone to Philadelphia or New York or DC or Boston or Chicago or literally anywhere else and sold out. Baltimore does seem like a very specific choice and by that I mean, specific to Jada. As I said, it’s giving Incel. I still believe the stories about Jada rejecting Rock in the ‘90s. That’s his energy – a guy who has been rejected and spends years obsessing over the woman who rejected him.
As for Will not “personally” apologizing to Rock – Will has made it clear multiple times that he’s reached out to Rock and that he would like to apologize in person and clear the air. Rock has refused, because clearing the air might mean that Will would call him to account for his obsession with denigrating Will’s wife.
