Expectant mama Ashlee Simpson stepped out with Evan Ross on Tuesday (May 5) in Van Nuys, Calif.

The mom-to-be looked beautiful in a blue maxi maternity dress while leaving the DMV with her husband.

Over the weekend, we spotted the parents-to-be shopping at Topanga Mall in Canoga Park.

This will be the first child – a girl – for Ashlee and her husband, 26, whom she wed on Aug. 30, 2014.

She is already mom to 6-year-old son Bronx with ex-husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz.

Mom-to-be Zooey Deschanel covers the June issue of Cosmopolitan and opens up about expecting her first child with fiancé Jacob Pechenik this summer, women in television, and healthy body image.

On not posing for a “body after baby” photo shoot: “Haven’t we all seen those pictures of a sexy new mom in a bikini after one month? I will not be that person. I’ve always gone my own course and never been someone who had the need to be super skinny. I like a healthy look. I don’t buy into that skinny-is-better mentality. I just eat healthy and work out and don’t worry about my weight too much. Actresses aren’t models, and most of them never wanted to be.”

On women in television: “It’s a good time for women on TV. We can be funny in our own way … and funny doesn’t mean just one thing. Funny isn’t just one-liners. It’s big personalities and individualism.”

On the #AskHerMore Twitter campaign during awards season: “I’m all for people asking actresses more intelligent questions. Just because you’re wearing a nice dress doesn’t mean you don’t have any ideas. It’s a shame to reduce smart, talented women to clothes models. But you can be a feminist and femme. I don’t see how those things contradict each other.”

Model mom Marisa Miller is baring her baby bump to advocate for animals in captivity as part of PETA‘s new campaign.

“Much like that between human moms and children, the connection between orca mothers and babies is one of the strongest in the world,” the YouTube video is captioned. “Check out pregnant mom Marisa Miller’s important statement in behalf of orcas and their families suffering at SeaWorld.”

The former Victoria’s Secret model, 36, talked about teaming up with PETA for this good cause.

“I’ve always been an animal lover and I do a lot with ocean conservation,” she told PEOPLE. “I always see dolphins when I surf, but I didn’t have the knowledge about how they are acquired. When Blackfish came out, I saw it and I was so upset.”

In the ad, the model mom is seen lying naked in a bathtub in honor of captured killer whales, who are confined to living in small enclosures.

“Even the tanks they do their ridiculous tricks in are way bigger than where they actually sleep,” she shared. “They’re completely confined. That’s why they have all these dental problems because they are chewing on metal and concrete — they can’t even move.”

She went on to talk about the cruelty of capturing wild animals.

“[The animals] are ripped apart from their family, they have to be drugged to handle the environment they’re in,” she said. “There are other ways to experience them. There is a way that you can rehabilitate the animals in an environment that they can swim and you can go check them out.”

She went on to encourage people to boycott SeaWorld.

“It’s about awareness,” she said. “Once the public knows, then they can make their own choices.”

And while she’s long been an advocate for animals, the supermodel admits she was ignorant for years.

“I was so unaware of the realities about how the whales are captured, how they are separated and their emotional capacity. This is an animal whose babies never leave their mother’s side their whole life,” she said. “So as a mother, I have a totally different perspective on relating to that.”

This will be the second child – another boy – for the Sports Illustrated model and her husband, music producer Griffin Guess.

The couple – who were wed in April 2006 – welcomed their son Gavin in December 2012.

Proud big sis Rumer Willis shared a precious photo of her famous father, Die Hard star Bruce Willis, and his younger daughters: Mabel, 3, and Evelyn, 1.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful baby sister miss Evelyn Penn. I love you so much sweet girl,” Rumer Instagrammed the shot, celebrating the tot’s milestone birthday on Tuesday, May 5.

Bruce’s younger daughters are shared with his second wife, model Emma Heming.

The proud mom-of-two, 36, also Instagrammed the same sweet snap.

“Morning kisses for this birthday girl. And what a beautiful year it has been. Happy Birthday Evelyn! #ourlovebug,” Emma captioned the image.

The Pulp Fiction star, 60, welcomed Rumer, 26, and her younger sisters – Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21 – with his first wife, Ghost actress Demi Moore.

In an inspirational photo, Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood is seen cuddling her ex-boyfriend’s newborn daughter.

On April 30, Gary Shirley welcomed his second daughter, Emilee Grace Shirley, with his girlfriend Kristina. And one of Emilee’s first visitors was none other than her dad’s famous ex.

When the reality star stopped by the hospital to pick up their 6-year-old daughter Leah, she took the time to cradle the baby girl.

“Thank you to @AmberLPortwood for picking up @leah_leann and holding the baby briefly! Kind of you!” Shirley Tweeted the photo.

Portwood replied on Twitter, “Of course..i wouldn’t miss out on booboo time..congrats on the little angel..sending love @ItsGaryTime @leah_leann.”

This is a big step for the former tumultuous couple, whose on-again-off-again relationship often turned violent on the MTV series. As well, Portwood served 17 months in jail, leaving Leah in Shirley’s care.

Now, Portwood is engaged to Matt Baier, who is 19 years her senior.

“This is a different relationship than Gary. We have a lot more in common, past-wise,” Portwood said on Teen Mom OG. “And he’s a lot older, which makes it a lot better because he’s more mature.”
