During a Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Avengers: Age Of Ultron star Chris Hemsworth opens up about family life with wife, Furious 7 actress Elsa Pataky, and their three young children: daughter India, nearly 3, and 1-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha.
“We actually flew from Australia to London the other day and door-to-door it’s about a 30-hour trip and it was it was kinda like the trip from hell,” the father-of-three, 31, recalled.
The Australian actor went on to talk about the less glamorous side of fatherhood.
“They were all sick and literally took it in turns to scream,” he said of their three kids. “Like one would kind of do it and look over and say, ‘I’m done you want a turn? Yup.’ (Ahh!) And the whole cabin wanted to kick us off.”
As for happier family stories, the Thor star says his Spanish-born wife is ensuring that their kids speak both English and Spanish.
“My daughter’s bilingual,” Hemsworth shared. “You walk in the room and if someone’s not authentically Spanish then she just won’t even have it.”
He added: “Even if my mom or someone attempts to speak in Spanish, she’s like, ‘That’s horrible, you’re butchering the language, get out.’”

TMZ points us to this video (above) of Dennis Quaid absolutely going off on set. Warning if you are at work or around kids – there are multiple f bombs and it’s loud. It’s unclear where Quaid is but according to IMDB he only has one film in post-production, Truth, a dramatized version of CBS news anchor Dan Rather’s 2004 expose of George W. Bush’s questionable military record. (Rather subsequently retired when it came out that documents used for the report were faked.) Quaid plays Colonel Roger Charles. He may be dressed a little too casually for that role but the setting looks like it could be a military office. This clip could be from another set or it could be staged, it’s hard to tell. Here’s what Quaid says and some of his turns of phrase are hilarious. He seems dead serious, but as TMZ notes he’s an actor so who knows:
“What the f*k, keep going. I am acting here and this dickhead wanders onto my set. I can’t even get a line out until dopey the dick starts whispering in your ear, and you’re not even watching anymore. Don’t f*king Dennis me. I am doing my job here. I am a pro. This is most unprofessional set I have ever been on. This is horsesh*t. I’ve got these f*king zombies over here that I have to look at. I’ve got a bunch of pussies staring at me and this fucking baby. This is garbage. blow me.”
That’s some Charlie Sheen level hyperbole – “dopey the dick,””zombies” and he added a Mel Gibson sentiment at the end there for good measure – “blow me”. It’s almost too good to be true. People are wondering whether this is real or some kind of orchestrated Jimmy Kimmel stunt. If it’s fake, it’s very good. This looks absolutely real to me, but I’ve been fooled by Jimmy Kimmel’s stunts before. He loves to stage viral videos and he’s done the “freakout” videos with Matt Damon before. (Damon is the most convincing. I would pay to have him yell at me.)
Plus, Quaid’s rant bears a certain resemblance to Christian Bale’s 2009 rant on the set of Terminator: Salvation. As you may recall, Bale also freaked out about a guy wandering onto the set. He similarly called the guy unprofessional and dropped multiple f-bombs. So maybe this is just a particular pet peeve of actors because it pulls them out of character, or maybe Quaid is drawing on past rants to come up with one for a viral video.
On the other side, look at Quaid’s certifiable brother. It’s not such a stretch to believe that he would scream, yell and accuse others of acting unprofessional while he was doing just that. I checked Dennis Quaid’s social media accounts and none of them are active. TMZ also reached out for comment and there’s no word yet.

I’ll readily admit to pegging Zoe Saldana wrong as a celebrity mom. Perhaps it’s still too early to judge whether or not she’ll be judgy, but so far, Zoe’s been chill. Perhaps that’s because she’s so exhausted by the task of caring for twin baby boys. Zoe and Marco Perego welcomed their sons in November and waited to announce the names, Bowie and Cy, in January. Zoe looked tired but glorious at the Oscars. She was a bit curvier than usual, but the extra few pounds looked nice on her frame.
Zoe’s been having a tough time. Yesterday’s episode of GMA detailed her struggle to get back into shape. Zoe didn’t appear on the show, but her trainer (Steve Moyer) popped in for her. You can see the (autoplay) clip here, which discusses Zoe’s 70-pound weight gain during pregnancy. Moyer talks about planks (which I hate-love) and other core strength exercises to rebuild the body. The segment points towards Zoe’s weekend Facebook post, in which she reveals her ongoing health issues and a struggle to get back into fighting shape:
As you all know, we welcomed twin boys last November. Yes, by far, the most amazing experience of my life, but also a very challenging experience when it pertains to my body. I’m sure moms across the world (and dads sometimes) can identify with what I’m about to say.
Your body changes dramatically, inside and out. You grow in places you never knew you could, and you are tired beyond belief. In some cases more than others, your body experiences a kind of trauma through childbirth that is difficult to explain unless you’ve had that experience. My case was like that, everything from my thyroid to my platelets crashed. Thank God, we are all doing great now, but my body was really bent out of shape after the boys were born. Bouncing back feels impossible, but I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up. I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work ….. my clock is ticking!
2 months ago I started my journey, and its been REAL- I’m not gonna lie- it is slow …. painful … and frustrating. But it is worth it.
And that is why I’m here… I know many of you have gone through this or are going through it as we speak. Let’s do it together. Let’s talk about it, hear each other out, and seek advice when we need it. I have my friend of many years and trainer, Steve Moyer that will be guiding me and sometimes training me for the next 2 months before I go back to work. I will be sharing with you what I do, what I eat and how I feel about it in hopes that it will be of any help to you. cool?
I started in January with Moyer. I was 160lbs (at the peak of my pregnancy I reached 185lbs). I had no flexibility, weak joints, and exercising was painful. We started with just walking, I think I only walked that first month. I did however change the way I eat. I began to make better choices with my food. Moyer was instrumental at this point. he gave me great tips of what to eat, how much water to drink, he even gave me some recipes of his own sometimes. It was important for me to learn this so I can do it on my own if I have to. I want to prove to myself that if I have the right determination I can do anything.
Crap, boys are up from their naps! gotta go!
I’m looking fwd to sharing this journey with you…
[From Zoe Saldana on Facebook]
GMA talks about how Zoe’s struggle “humanizes” her, and I agree. Before she became pregnant, Zoe came off as full of herself. Now she’s going through something that many mothers have experienced. The platelet crash and thyroid problems sound particularly scary, right? I don’t think Zoe’s positioning herself as a future internet curator. She’s not out to profit directly from mom-based products and discussions. Zoe’s already got her plate full with twins and three ongoing movie franchises. She’ll be doing more Avatar and Guardians and Star Trek flicks. Her goal is to return to her butt-kicking best, and it’s a lot of pressure. I feel for her having to bounce back from twins so quickly, but … Hollywood.
Zoe also talked to Us Weekly last week about how she’s not looking forward to leaving the twins for work. She said, “I’m pretty sure that every parent — not just every mom– would [take time off] as long as your work doesn’t suffer. But we have to pay bills and at the end of the day, I think that’s the best example we can set to our children.” Zoe says that it takes three people (herself, Marco, and a nanny) to take care of twins. Sounds exhausting.

Grammy Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson covers the May issue of Redbook with 10-month-old daughter River Rose. The American Idol alum, 32, talks about healthy body image and married life with husband Brandon Blackstock.
On the body-shaming she’s experienced: “I don’t obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it… There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism—that is not me. I wish I had a better metabolism. But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has.
On putting her marriage first: “I always swore ours would not be a relationship where we have to schedule sex. That is never going to happen. We put each other first. I call it the oxygen-mask mentality—take care of yourself first.”
On her views of a healthy relationship: “Brandon is not my other half. He’s a whole and I’m a whole. I’ve never believed in someone taking care of me, and that’s probably because I grew up poor and without a lot of family stability.”

Part III of the LA premiere of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. I’m running out of things to say about this premiere, people! I miss Tom Hiddleston. I wish Hiddles had come out just for the premiere. He wouldn’t have had to do press, I just wanted to see him bro-out with Chris Hemsworth and the gang. Anyway, here we’ve got Aaron Taylor Johnson and his wife Sam Taylor Johnson. Aaron is one of the new Avengers, Quicksilver. Quicksilver has a weird accent and a bad wig, but I’m sure it will be fine. Sam looks pretty in pink, doesn’t she? I sort of like that they come out for each other’s premieres. Weirdly, they have one of the strongest marriages in celebrity-ville.
Julie Delpy is playing some mystery character. I like that she basically just threw on a chic sack dress over a pair of pants. I wish Angelina Jolie would try this kind of sack-chic.
Anthony Mackie is so hot. Just don’t pay attention to the sexist stuff that comes out of his mouth. He’s really hot.
Paul Bettany is getting some actual screen time in Ultron as The Vision. All the nerds are so happy! Paul looks nice here and I think he loves being a part of this franchise.
And finally, Chadwick Boseman. I love Chadwick and I think he’s an incredible actor. He’s getting his own Marvel Black Panther movie! Yay.

Who was Nori’s godmother?
Kim’s younger sister Khloé Kardashian took the honor and attended the baptism, while the priest acted as the tot’s godfather.
After the religious ceremony, Kim, Kanye, Khloé and North all had dinner with Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat at Mona Restaurant.
The group arrived in the Holy Land on Monday after a five-day trip in Armenia. Reportedly, they’re leaving for Jordan on Tuesday.
