UPDATE: As it turns out, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively‘s newborn daughter James does not have three godmothers.
“I never named them my godmothers,” Lively told E! News of her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel. “They’re my dear friends. I would say my baby has a lot of fairy godmothers.”
She added: “My sister [Robyn] would be the one to take care of my baby.”

It sounds like Blake Lively’s newborn daughter has officially joined the sisterhood.
The actress and her husband, The Voices star Ryan Reynolds, crowned her three Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars — Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel — as godmothers to daughter James.
During a recent appearance on Nick Lachey’s VH1?s Morning Buzz Live show, Tamblyn confirmed the happy news.
“You’re still very close with your…costars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively’s baby — is that a fact?” Lachey asked the actress. “Yes, that is a fact,” Tamblyn confirmed, sending the audience into applause.
Lively and Reynolds have not released any photos of their firstborn child, but Reynolds recently confirmed her name.
“It’s Butternut Summer Squash,” he joked, and then confirmed: “It’s James. Everyone knows.”
The private couple — who welcomed James in late December — were hesitant to share her name in the past, but the actor went on to explain his silence.
“I didn’t want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media,” he shares. “Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, ‘Why did you do that?’ ”
Expectant mama Jaime King bared her baby bump via Instagram.
“Pregnancy tip- play dress up! Summer is coming,” the Hart of Dixie star, 35, captioned the image.
The actress – who announced last month that Taylor Swift will be her baby’s godmother – is expecting her second child with husband Kyle Newman.
King has opened up about her struggle with infertility, which included five miscarriages, five rounds of in vitro fertilization and 26 rounds of intrauterine insemination before conceiving her firstborn son naturally.
In a series of cute shots, King shares pics of her son James Knight, 18 months. Continue looking through our gallery to see the family photos.

On Friday, Kim Kardashian, Khloe and Kanye West traveled to Yerevan to visit the genocide memorial. They’ve been in Armenia for days now, meeting distant relations, sightseeing and now paying their respect to one of the most significant genocides in European history. I feel a certain way about memorials, that it’s all about showing respect and giving the proper respect to the event being memorialized. Like, I would have been slightly offended if Khloe and Kim had worn jeans to the memorial, but I’m not sure these outfits were “respectful.” It’s like Duchess Kate wearing hot pink to the 9/11 memorial – why not just be safe and wear black or grey, something somber? Kim in particular seems very “tarted up” for a trip to a genocide memorial.
Meanwhile, Kim is still shilling her kids’ clothing line. She already gave an interview to Vogue (go here to read) and now she’s talking to Elle. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights (I made some minor edits to the text because Kim says “you know” about a million times in this piece).
North loves shoes & purple: “She dresses really simple, and she’s not really a fussy dresser except for every morning and says “shoes,” and has to put on a pair of shoes. Like she had on the most wild outfit today, I sent a picture to my best friend. She was wearing purple pajamas—she says “purple” all the time—purple like, octopus backpack. She just discovered backpacks so she love to put them on. She had a big pink poodle [backpack] that her friend sent her, and she loves sandals, so she was wearing these really, like, wild sandals. So I took a picture and I sent it to my best friend and I made a joke, like, “Who says she only wears black?” you know?
North loves her Frozen suitcase: “She’s always loved to carry—every time I have my big luggage and we’re going on vacation, she’ll try to take my big luggage and carry it herself, so we got the Frozen suitcase so she has to carry it everywhere. It took us about 30 minutes longer to get through the airport because she had to carry her suitcase herself. She didn’t want to be picked up, she didn’t want anything. She did ride on it, but other than that, she has to do it. She’s very independent.
North loves makeup: “She loves makeup. Every night we play, after her bath, in bed, and you know my purse is always kind of by my nightstand, so she always says “purse!” So she grabs my purse, and that means she wants my makeup bag, so I give her my makeup bag and it’s empty. And if I just turn around for one second, she has my lipstick like all over her face. So I have to give her her own little makeup bag. She’s obsessed with makeup and watching me get ready and getting ready herself. She just loves the process, she could not be more ultimately girly-girl.”
Kim wanted alone-time with Kanye: “Yeah, I mean I think I really made that a priority. I was really strict about my daughter sleeping in her own room, and now she’s really independent and likes it that way. If I try to put her in bed with us, she kind of likes to be in her own room. And that has allowed us to have our time together.”
Workouts: “I made it a priority that I knew as soon as the doctor said I was able to work out, I was going to focus and commit myself and really work out, and feel good about myself. So I always gave myself time. So I think for all new moms, I can totally see how you can get wrapped up in making your child 100% your time. But if you could just take 5% or 10% for yourself a day, it won’t just make the difference in your confidence, but also your sanity. I mean there are times where sometimes I couldn’t even wash my hair if I didn’t have help. I couldn’t even figure it out. I think once you just set boundaries and how you’re going to parent—everyone parents differently so I hate to be that person to tell them how anyone should parent, I think whatever works for you works.
[From Elle Magazine]
I’m going to give Kim some credit here, but it honestly just occurred to me for the first time as I was reading this piece: Kim is not a judgy mom. She’s not throwing shade at anyone else’s parenting style or parenting choices. Some will say, “Well, she doesn’t have room to judge.” That’s true of a lot of women and they still judge, but Kim makes an effort to live and let live. She’s very anti-Goop in that way and I like her for it. (Although you could probably make the argument that Kim is too self-absorbed to pay attention to anyone else’s parenting choices.)

Last week, I did a preview of Andy Murray and Kim Sears’ wedding, and here are the photos from the Saturday service. As I theorized, Andy and Kim did not “sell” their wedding photos to a magazine because they happily posed for photos after their wedding service, outside of Dunblane Cathedral in Scotland. Andy wore a kilt and he showed off his too-short haircut. I wonder if Kim was pissed at him for getting his haircut so close to their wedding.
As for Kim’s wedding gown… there’s some good news and some bad news. Good news: Kim is a lovely woman and she looked SO happy on her wedding day. A joyful, happy bride elevates a questionable gown. And now for the bad news: this was not the best gown. It’s Jenny Packham. The skirt was too poufy, the beaded sleeves were a hot mess, the bust is too “heavy” (too much fabric, too much ruching) and I don’t understand the idea behind the “cutout” backless thing for a wedding gown. You know what? I bet everyone asked Kim if she was already knocked up, because that’s the effect of this dress. It makes this whole thing look like a shotgun wedding.
Something else I don’t understand: Kim is known for having great hair. Like, she ALWAYS looks blowout-perfect, in a way that Duchess Kate could only dream of. Why then did Kim decide to wear her perfect hair half-back, with an excessive headpiece and droopy veil? Know your best assets, girl!
Anyway, congrats to Kim and Andy. They both looked so happy, I almost feel like a bad person for bitching about the gown. (Almost.)

Jaden Smith steps out in a skirt, admits he’s experimenting with women’s clothing http://t.co/CM9HwuSrrW pic.twitter.com/VCbtdApDDL
— Daily Mail Celebrity (@DailyMailCeleb) April 10, 2015
This is unexpected … but I may be a fan of Jaden Smith. Not because of his acting or his music — neither of which are bad, just not my thing — but because his Twitter account is pretty amazing. And I love that he wore a skirt on Friday, and people lost their minds as a result. This kid is very stylish! GQ praised Jaden’s “bold” sartorial moves and says he’s “got a serious flair for the dramatic when it comes to getting dressed.” GQ admits that Jaden may have gone too far by adding leopard print socks and Nikes to his ensemble. I think he’s wearing the whole look with confidence.

Jaden and his sister, Willow, can act a little spacey (although they’ve been toning it down), to put it mildly. I put that all on Will and Jada and their ultra-permissive parenting skills. Jaden doesn’t go to school, and he’s very materialistic, but that’s not his fault. Yeah, he hangs with the Jenner girls, but Jaden’s not bragging about taking 2-hour showers. He’s simply a 16-year-old kid who’s having a good time. Last week, Jaden wrote on Instagram that he “went to Topshop to buy some girl clothes.” So is this dress from Topshop? I like it, and he’s wearing it brashly, almost like a kilt. This tweet puts the icing on the fashion cake.

Swerving isn’t a dance move or an actual reference to driving. It’s one of those zany teen slang terms for doing something off the hook. Such as this dress, which Jaden wore with attitude. Jaden posted more photos of his Topshop trip. He was contemplating some skinny jeans, which are best avoided on anyone. I’m simply pleased that Jaden pulls his jeans up and doesn’t go all Bieber on the world. Jaden and his tweets are offbeat and hilarious.

I somehow missed these photos of Jaden busting a move at the LA Divergent premiere. He also dressed up in costume at San Diego Comic-Con & went hiking with Kendall Jenner a few weeks ago.

Justin Timberlake welcomed his first child! Justin is now the proud father of a little boy named Silas Randall Timberlake. Can I just say? I was expecting a really bad or boring baby name from Justin Timberlake, but I really can’t complain about Silas Randall. “Randall” is a family name – Justin’s father is named Randall, and Randall is also Justin’s middle name. Silas is a biblical name but it doesn’t feel too churchy or overused (to me), although Silas is growing in popularity these days. It feels like a Southern name to me.
And in case you’re wondering why I haven’t mentioned the mother of Justin Timberlake’s baby, it’s because everything about the pregnancy was about Justin Timberlake, from the announcement (Justin’s baby’s mother’s head wasn’t even in the photo), to the babymoon (he went skiing, she did not) to all of the talk around the baby that Justin was going to have. Justin Timberlake had a baby. No one else matters. And father and child are just fine.
It’s official: Justin Timberlake will be passing on his suit and tie. The singer-songwriter and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, have welcomed their first child, son Silas Randall Timberlake, their reps confirm to PEOPLE exclusively. Reps say mom and baby are doing well and dad is “ecstatic.” Further details are being kept private at this time.
Silas was the middle name of Timberlake’s maternal grandfather Bill Bomar, who died in 2012, while Randall is the musician’s own middle name, as well as his father’s first.
[From People]
Congrats to Justin. And congrats to baby Silas. I bet he’ll be a cutie. But will Silas grow up to be a singer? That’s the question. And will Blue Ivy Carter be Silas’ baby-sitter? Did Silas get Justin Timberlake’s original hair?
Oh, and I kind of wonder if Jessica Biel was able to give birth several days ago, all undercover. I think that’s what happened.
Happy Bday to the sweetest, most GORGEOUS, goofiest, most BAD-ASS chick I know. You make me smile ’til it hurts. I love you like crazy! –Your Huz
