Proud nursing mama Alyssa Milano is “not okay” after an unfortunate incident overseas.
The Who’s The Boss? star, 42, was shocked when Heathrow Airport in London, England confiscated her bottles of breast milk while passing through security.
Just hours after Tweeting that pumping on a plane was “difficult,” the Mistresses actress — mom to daughter Elizabella, 7 months, and son Milo, 3½ — told fans about the upsetting chain of events.
“@HeathrowAirport just took my pumped breast milk away. 10 ounces. Gone. Not okay,” Milano Tweeted.

— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) April 9, 2015
She went on to share a series of Tweets about the confiscation:
“They said they would let the pumped milk through if I had the baby with me. Why would I need to pump if I had the baby with me????”
“.@HeathrowAirport Why can you test my toiletries to make sure they are safe but you have to throw away my breast milk?”
“.@HeathrowAirport I was told I would be fine if the baby was with me. Plus, it was less than 5 ounces per container. Why is my shampoo okay?”
“.@HeathrowAirport I would have happily spread milk in different containers (which I travel with) to comply to those liquid rules. Instead, milk was taken away with no discussion. Shampoo, lotions, etcetera were simply tested and handed back with no issue. Makes no sense at all.”
Heathrow responded via Twitter, writing, “Hi Alyssa. Unfortunately, without a baby present, the government requires all liquids in carry-ons to follow the 100ml rule.”
The actress has been an outspoken advocate for nursing moms. Last month, Alyssa shared a breastfeeding photo while at work with her baby girl.
And that isn’t the first time we’ve seen a pro-breastfeeding image from the mom-of-two. In February, the actress shared a breastfeeding selfie with her sweet tot.
Also, she shared a nursing photo in November, and a breastfeeding selfie in October.
It was shocking back in 2012, when Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli divorced after 11 years of marriage. In the months that followed, we found out a lot of dirt though. It seemed like Peter had been cheating with side-pieces for a while and Jennie finally had enough. Jennie tried to relaunch herself as a fearless single mother/reality star/actress, all while Peter moved on pretty smoothly with Jaimie Alexander. Peter and Jaimie just announced their engagement a few weeks ago. And it feels like Jennie has been trying to “compete” with him, with a string of photo-ops with her boyfriends-of-the-moment. Well, she finally got one of them to propose.
When actor Dave Abrams Tweeted a happy birthday message to Jennie Garth on April 3, the writing – or hashtag – was clearly on the wall: #loveumoreandmoreeachday. Indeed, the Mystery Girls star, 43, and Abrams are engaged, the actors’ reps confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.
“Dave had been working on this for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect,” a source close to the couple says.
The smitten stars have been inseparable since last fall. In early March, they spent a romantic weekend in Santa Barbara, California, and recently enjoyed a sun-drenched vacation in Tulum, Mexico, with Garth’s three daughters. Abrams Tweeted a photo from a hike in Santa Barbara, captioning it, “Our selfie game is strong.”
This will be Garth’s second marriage: She has daughters Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, 8, with her ex-husband, Twilight actor Peter Facinelli.

Well, congrats to her. I hope she’s regained some sense of stability, because for a while there, it seemed like she was wallowing in some kind of post-divorce mid-life crisis, complete with drunk tears at the club. While People says Jennie and Dave have been together since last fall, The Daily Mail says it’s been just four months. Hm.
CB followed Jennie’s post-divorce dating history closer than I ever did – CB pointed out that Jennie moved through dudes pretty quickly, going from photo-op with random dude-face to photo-op with random rocker to photo-op with random businessman over the course of a year, pretty much. I’m not judging her for dating around and enjoying herself. I am judging her for the photo-ops and for basically getting engaged to the first random dude that asked.

Last week, Kit Harington gave an interview to Page Six which proved that much like his Game of Thrones character, Kit Harington Knows Nothing. Kit was discussing how he’s viewed as some kind of cute guy or heartthrob and instead of just wearing his cuteness lightly, with humor (after all, Kit is never going to light the world on fire with his acting talent), Kit decided to get sort of pissy about the whole thing:
“To always be put on a pedestal as a hunk is slightly demeaning. It really is and it’s in the same way as it is for women. When an actor is seen only for her physical beauty, it can be quite offensive. Well, it’s not just men that can be inappropriate sexually; women can be as well. I’m in a successful TV show in a kind of leading man way and it can sometimes feel like your art is being put to one side for your sex appeal. And I don’t like that. In this position you get asked a lot, ‘Do you like being a heartthrob? Do you like being a hunk?’ Well, my answer is, ‘That’s not what I got into it for.”
[From Previous CB story]
Many of us chuckled and some people even defended him. But for the most part, I think Kit needs to lighten up a bit about his image and celebrity. Looks like Kit got that message too – he sat down yesterday for an interview on Good Morning America, and he was asked about his “being a hunk is demeaning” statement – go here to see the video. Kit said:
“I’ve kind of decided I’m going to be a good little hunk and shut up…Yeah, I did get into trouble for that. It’s one of those–you say something and then didn’t realize people would jump on it.”
[From ABC News]
It doesn’t surprise me that he didn’t realize that his words had consequences. And that was one of the weird parts of his first statement – he acted like people were objectifying him at, like, Brad Pitt levels. Kit’s a cute guy on a hit TV show, and he only really makes news when he says something dumb. I guess he learned that lesson a little late.
Kit also told GMA that he’s starting to watch the show as a fan now, and he doesn’t want to know in advance what happens in other characters’ storylines. That’s a good way to approach it. I wish I could hang out with some of those actors and do a marathon of the past season. GAH. I can’t wait for Sunday.

Amanda Seyfried has a new interview with Fox 411 to promote While We’re Young‘s expansion into wide release. The movie features Amanda as one half of a 20-something couple who befriends 40-something couple Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts. Amanda’s 29 years old now but can pass for a few years younger. She’s also been kicking around Hollywood since her teenage soap opera roles. People started to notice her after Mean Girls, which also starred Lindsay Lohan. I’m pretty sure Amanda’s talking about the Lohan complex in this discussion. She explains how Hollywood can hamper the growth process, and actors must be proactive to avoid the trap of becoming an eternal child:
On approaching 30: “I have to behave like a grown up. And as hard as it is and as tough as it … as intimidating as that is, I realize it’s the only way to be, it’s the only direction. It’s the only way your life is going to work, you have to be mature, and you have to make mature decisions and you have to think of other people, and you have to be responsible. And you know what? My life is better for it.”
On being young in Hollywood: “I actually think it’s a detriment to growing up for certain people. Certain actors stay kids forever because they’re treated like it. And you just can’t stand for that, when people sometimes… people treating you like a kid, you’re just going to like kind of stay that way if you’re not careful. I’m only speaking from experience, so I realize it’s really important to stake your claim in the adult world.”
You won’t catch her on a Kindle app: “I will not read books on my iPad because guess what? That can also, the battery can die. The battery dies all the time. I almost bought a flip phone the other day because I was thinking, what if, this battery keep dying so much on my iPhone. Books, books, I have to read books it’s just so simple. You don’t need to plug it in.”
[From Fox News 411]
Amanda stresses that she’s not being “ironic” with her preference of traditional print books. She’s separating herself from the hipster crowd and simply admitting that she stresses over phone battery life. But Kindle battery power last forever! I’m a fan of the Kindle. Saves shelf space, saves money.
Another cute Amanda story surfaced last night. Us Weekly says Amanda served helped out the flight attendants while en route from NYC to LA. She “just took over and served cookies for the flight attendants! She was super friendly, laughing and joking with the flight attendants.” And she didn’t take a selfie, like other certain actors would have done.
