It looks like Busy Philipps‘ daughter Birdie is walking in her famous mama’s footsteps.

The Cougar Town actress, 35, shared a sweet snapshot via Instagram, showcasing her 6-year-old daughter reenacting a scene from Full House at her school’s talent show.

In the photo, Birdie and her bestie are seen playing the roles made famous by Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin on the hit family series, which aired from 1987 to 1995.

“This morning, at Birdie’s school’s talent show, she and her bff Killian did a scene from Full House as Rebecca Donaldson and Danny Tanner,” the proud mama captioned the Instagram pic. “This was one hundred percent her idea and she’s lucky enough to have a best friend who’s into her crazy schemes. Thanks to Killian’s parents @love.jennah & @ejc.jpg for putting in additional rehearsal time with them and getting up front to take pics and video! Marc and I were under strict orders to stay in the back…”

Killiam’s parents then regrammed the pic, with the caption, “killian + his bff, birdie. playing danny tanner + rebecca in a VERY dramatic scene from Full House.”

The Dawson’s Creek alum and her husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein, are also parents to 1-year-old daughter Cricket.

Dallas Buyers Club star Jennifer Garner was spotted with daughter Violet, 9, in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday (March 19). The mother-daughter duo enjoyed a frozen yogurt treat after school.

The mom-of-three, 42, has just returned from New York City where she was promoting her new film, Danny Collins, at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

During a Wednesday appearance on TODAY, Garner – who is also mom to daughter Seraphina, 6, and 3-year-old son Samuel with husband Ben Affleck – broke down in tears while talking about her family.

When asked about a recent photo shoot for Southern Living with her mother Patricia and sisters Melissa and Susannah, the actress couldn’t help but shed a few tears.

“It makes me cry to see their faces, so I won’t look,” Garner said. “There’s just nothing like sharing the spotlight or anything else with your sisters and your mom.”

She added: “It’s always fun for me to get my sisters dolled up and my mom… I can’t even take it, TODAY show is too tough for me.”

“I’m so sorry!” Garner said. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. My mom is under the weather and it just… I didn’t realize I would get emotional.”

Jennifer Garner has been doing the talk show circuit to promote her role in Danny Collins, with Al Pacino, Annette Bening and Bobby Cannavale. It’s about an aging rockstar (Pacino) taking stock of his life and just came out this week. Garner plays his daughter-in-law. The above photo is of Garner at the premiere a couple of days ago. Her styling is ok and I like the cut of that gown, but it’s very plain. She has a tendency to go for solid colors and black on the red carpet and I wish she would mix it up a little.

In Garner’s appearance on The Today Show earlier this week, she wore a little red dress that would have been a better choice for the premiere. She also started crying when she talked about her Southern Living photoshoot with her mom and sisters. It was hard to watch her try to keep it together, and then she explained that she was upset over two earlier sad segments which had just aired. Here’s what she said and you can watch the video below.

During a chat with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, Garner opened up about her feelings for family, and she didn’t hold anything back — not even tears.

“There’s just nothing like sharing the spotlight or anything else with your sisters and your mom,” she said when discussing the recent Southern Living photo shoot she did with her family. “It’s always fun for me to get my sisters dolled up and my mom.”

With that sweetly sentimental mention, Garner couldn’t help but cry a bit. But as it turned out, there was more to the waterworks than just that.

The star shared that not only is her mother, Patricia, feeling under the weather today (get well soon, Mom!), but Garner had just watched two particularly moving moments on TODAY.

“You showed those babies and Leah Still,” she said of TODAY’s stories on a recently widowed father who’s raising his newborn quadruplets on his own and Devon Still’s daughter’s battle against cancer. “I just watched it, and I can’t even take it.”

Garner smiled through her tears, and while she offered up an apology for crying, we can’t imagine a reason to be sorry. If anything, we just find her even more lovable and relatable than ever before.

“We just took a vote,” Matt Lauer said as the interview came to a close. “We just put Jennifer in the list of best guests ever.”

I’m a cryer like that. I cry at commercials, at stories on the radio (this made me cry this morning but I told myself it was the Zyrtec) and especially if I’m talking about anyone who died. This reminds me of how Angelina Jolie usually cries when she talks about her departed mom. I hope Garner’s mom is ok and that she was really getting choked up over the show.

Meanwhile Garner was also on Jimmy Fallon, where she told a funny story about how one of her daughters (she didn’t specify which one) insisted on being carried after another baby came along. She also said that her kids regularly pinch each other. One complaint about Garner’s appearance on Fallon – it was St. Patrick’s Day and she wasn’t wearing green! Maybe they taped it ahead of time and she didn’t realize it would air on St. Patrick’s Day. Otherwise there is no excuse for not wearing green.

Ray Donovan star Liev Schreiber went out for a spin with his sons – Sasha, 7, and Kai, 6 – in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday (March 19).

With the boys riding on the back of dad’s bike, the actor, 47, enjoyed an afternoon pedal with his growing sons.

Mama, St. Vincent actress Naomi Watts, was not spotted with her boys.

Naomi’s mother Myfanwy Edwards recently opened up to Daily Mail Australia about her famous daughter and beloved son-in-law.

“He’s [Liev is] a great, very intelligent, wonderful guy and great father,” she said. “He makes magic for the children on a daily basis. He’s got stories and fires their imagination. He’s solid, he’s a great guy, a real New Yorker who has a lot of integrity. He’s definitely a strong father figure for her [Naomi].”

Naomi’s father, Pete Watts, died of a heroin overdose when she was just 7-years-old.

“It left scars,” her mother shared. “It was a shock, his death made Naomi incredibly determined. It had a profound effect on her, as it did on the entire family.”

The actress used her heartbreak to help her with movie roles, such as the 2003 drama 21 Grams.

“With Naomi, it’s [Pete’s death has] been an enormous help for her films like 21 Grams … that emotion is buried in there, she uses it, she can work with that,” she said. “It’s a terrible thing to happen to anyone, especially at that age when she needed her dad. We had no inkling he was using heroin at all.”
