The Gunman Premieres in LA

Look who’s all grown up!

Baywatch star Pamela Anderson proudly posed with her 18-year-old son Brandon at the Los Angeles premiere of The Gunman on Thursday (March 12).

The former Playboy model, 47, hit the red carpet with her elder son, whom she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee. The pair are also parents to son Dylan, 17.

The famous blonde’s outing came several weeks after she filed for divorce — for the third time — from husband Rick Salomon.

It appears Pam’s handsome son is dating Disney darling Bella Thorne!

The 17-year-old actress send out a sweet Tweet to wish him good luck at the premiere.

“@Sir_BrandonLee good luck at the premiere

I tried to go to the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art a few years ago. It was a summer. A really hot day. I was in New York for a junket, and after working the previous night and the next morning, and not really eating that much, and being on my period, I …

12 Celebrity Kids Make Modeling Debut

From the Beckhams to the Birkheads, there’s no denying good genes!

So it’s no surprise that Cindy Crawford‘s daughter Kaia took to modeling at the age of 10. And we were not shocked to see the 1-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian posing for Chanel.

Take a look at 12 celebrity kids who have made their modeling debut.

  • Sire Jackson:

Rap superstar 50 Cent‘s son Sire, 2, is a serious cutie — so much so, he’s entered the world of modeling.

“He’s got a [modeling] deal now with Kidz Safe,” the proud papa, 39, said during a recent interview with Power 105.1. “It’s an audio company. They paid him a big payment too: $700,000.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper (born to the name Curtis James Jackson III), couldn’t help but gush about his beautiful baby boy.

“He’s super cute, you gotta pay for it,” 50 joked.

  • Dylan Brosnan:

Guess who is the latest Saint Laurent hunk?

This dapper teen is none other than Dylan Brosnan, son of James Bond star Pierce Brosnan and wife Keely Shay Smith. The 17-year-old makes his modeling debut in YSL’s new ad campaign for the men’s permanent collection.

In the sharp black-and-white images, Dylan looks every bit the debonair male model with side-swept hair and a classic black tux and tie. In another shot, the teen gives a piercing gaze while wearing slim-fitting jeans and a dark cardigan.

A seasoned Saint Laurent model, Jack sports a denim button-down, gazing through his messy chin-length hair. In a more relaxed shot, the teen sits cross-legged in ripped jeans and a velvet blazer.

  • North West:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s little girl recently made her modeling debut.

The couple’s 1-year-old daughter North West looked cute as can be in the fall issue of CR Fashion Book. Shot by Michael Avedon, Nori is wearing Chanel, and even accessorizes with a petite purse with the iconic interlocking “C’s” logo. To complete her look, the famous tot is sporting Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs.

The cute image is captioned by Karl Lagerfeld, saying, “It is never too early to care about fashion.”

According the to magazine’s website, North West was featured in a story entitled Legends, which “celebrates the unconventional side of fashion icon status.”

While this is her first solo gig, the sweet tot posed with her famous parents for Vogue in March.

  • Jessie, D’Lila and Chance Combs:

Proud papa P. Diddy posed with his daughters Jessie and D’Lila, then 6, and Chance, then 7, whom made their modeling debut at Kids Fashion Week in New York City in October 2013.

“Words can’t explain how proud I am of my young ladies ! There’s no greater feeling #fact,” Diddy captioned a shot via Instagram.

Puffy’s gorgeous girls, all now 8-years-old, made their runway debuts on the Swarovski and Ooh! La, La! catwalks. The trio proved they’re naturals in trendy sneaker wedges, high-low hems and a healthy dose of model attitude while their R&B superstar papa watched from the front row.

  • Ryder Robinson & Bing Bellamy:

Actress Kate Hudson got glam with her sons Ryder, then 10, and Bing, then 2.

The Wish I Were Here actress kept her kids in the family business by incorporating them into her ad campaign for Ann Taylor’s Spring 2014 collection.

With art imitating life, the photos feature Kate and her sons on a Hollywood movie set.
In one image, Kate’s blonde locks blow in the wind as she totes her tot — her now 3-year-old son with ex-fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.

Another photo shows her relaxing in a director’s chair. Ryder, now 11, her son from her first marriage to Chris Robinson, is sitting nearby, smiling and holding a film clapperboard.

  • Kaia Gerber:

At the age of 10, Kaia Gerber, the stunning daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, made her modeling debut for Young Versace. But according to her model mom, the now-13-year-old won’t be making a career of it any time soon.

“At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career,” Cindy said. “There aren’t even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl. But if she’s 17 and wants to try it…of course, what can I say? She’s really into singing and acting. She kind of jokingly said—I’m not even sure if it was jokingly—‘I might model first because you don’t have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse.’”

  • Max & Emme Muñiz:

At the tender age of 2, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony‘s twins (now 7) made their modeling debut as the faces of Gucci’s children’s line in October 2010.

Alongside their famous mama, the twins looked too cute for words in their designer duds. “It’s the first time I have worked with my kids in that way,” J.Lo said, adding that the twins “had fun” posing.

In honor of the collection, Gucci donated $1 million to UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative and $50,000 to Jennifer’s charity, the Maribel Initiative.

“It’s exactly why I’m excited to be a part of this,” said the mom-of-two. “Now there are two Gucci spokesbabies for a beautiful cause!”

  • Ava Sambora:

Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora and actress Heather Locklear are proud parents to 17-year-old daughter Ava. In March 2010, when Ava was just 12, she made her modeling debut at LA Fashion Week.

The blonde beauty premiered her famous father’s women’s fashion line White Trash Beautiful. Looking beyond her years, Ava was cheered on by her beaming parents as she strutted her way down the catwalk.

“My daughter’s beautiful, she’s gregarious, she’s funny, she’s smart,” Richie gushed. “I’m beyond proud. The only modeling she has really done has been at my shows. That is where we are right now – her priorities are schoolwork and also I believe in maintaining the innocence of children. Before that when she is 18 or 19 she is going to do what she wants to do and I’m going to support her and help her through it.”

  • Dannielynn Birkhead:

At just 6-years-old, Dannielynn Birkhead has made her modeling debut for GUESS kids. The shots are seen on billboards as part of the company’s Spring campaign.

Posing on the beach in a denim mini-skirt and fedora, Dannielynn seems to have inherited her mom Anna Nicole Smith‘s love of the camera. The gorgeous girl’s father, Larry Birkhead, said the shoot was a tribute to her late mother.

And who could forget Anna Nicole, who burst onto the modeling scene herself in sexy Guess ads in the early ’90s.

“Dannielynn has always looked up to her mom’s image and . . . I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way,” Larry said.

Larry has raised Dannielynn, now 8, since the Playboy model’s drug overdose death in 2007; their daughter was just 5-months-old at the time.

“To see her mom’s picture next to hers as a Guess girl and say, ‘Hey, I was a Guess Kids girl, my mommy was a Guess girl,’ that might be her only connection with her mom,” he shared.

Still, the single dad said it’s all in good fun.

“My goal for her is for her to be a child and just do what all kids do,” he added.

  • Romeo Beckham:

At the tender age of 10, David and Victoria Beckham‘s son Romeo landed his first modeling gig with Burberry. Following in his stylish mom and dad’s footsteps, the beautiful boy is featured in the Spring/Summer 2013 campaign.

Looking dapper in a Burberry trench coat, Romeo, now 12, is all smiles playfully toting an umbrella in the photo shoot.

In a 2010 interview, Victoria talked about Romeo’s flair for fashion.

“I mean, you’ve got Brooklyn, who is a real boy. He’s turning into a teenager. It takes him quite some time to do his hair in the morning before he goes to school,” she said. “Then we got Romeo, who loves fashion. He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat . . . and he’s a real fashion lover. And then Cruz just wants to break dance every opportunity he gets.”

  • Brooklyn Beckham:

Not to be outdone by his little brother, Victoria and David Beckham‘s oldest son Brooklyn, 16, made his modeling debut on the cover of Man About Town magazine’s Spring/Summer 2014 issue.

On the cover, the then 15-year-old looked dapper in a crisp white oxford shirt and striped maroon tie, paired with a black bomber jacket. The teen gave the camera a smoldering stare, while bearing a striking resemblance to both of his parents.

In one image, Victoria and David’s oldest wears a bumblebee-striped tank that reveals his athletic arms. Similar to the cover shot, the teen gives the camera a model pose.

“We could not have wished for a stronger subject than Brooklyn to bring this story to life,” Man About Town Editor-in-Chief Ben Reardon tells Us. “He was a diligent, relaxed cover star for his first ever fashion shoot.”

Brooklyn’s modeling debut was a “20-page fashion story celebrating teenage style.” The photos were taken by Alasdair McLellan, who’s worked with the teen’s famous parents on their respective fashion projects in the past.

  • Anja Mazur:

At 4-years-old, Anja Mazur makes her modeling debut alongside her gorgeous mother, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, in a campaign for London Fog.

Alessandra said that Anja, now 6, had a blast making the campaign: “Having my daughter steal the spotlight is pretty funny and I just love it! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time on set and is going to be wearing all of the London Fog kids jackets.”

The model mom, who is also mom to 2-year-old Noah with husband Jamie Mazur, added that her daughter already a “fashionista.”

“In the morning she likes to pick out her own clothes,” Alessandra shared. “She’ll definitely be a little fashionista. She has a very strong personality already.”

Rihanna doesn’t do a lot of interviews. She’s done some major interviews, sure. But you know she’s selective. And you know we don’t actually hear her speak at length very often. She’s promoting an animated film called Home though. So there are some press commitments….

Reese and her husband Jim Toth are reportedly looking at properties in Nashville, and it’s not for the usual house/ranch/celebrity compound, but rather, a hotel.

Hotel Witherspoon. Toth House?

Either works, and as you can tell I’m super into this idea. Usually I’m the fi…

Kerry Washington covers the new issue of Marie Claire. It’s a decent but uneventful shoot, but I guess it’s worth noting that Marie Claire – unlike InStyle a few months ago – did not Photoshop Kerry into oblivion. As for the interview… it was conducted by Lena Dunham. Ugh. Lena recently filmed a guest appearance on Scandal, and she and Kerry are pretty supportive of each other. I like that this generation of actresses seems to be supportive of each other, but I feel like Lena is just as much of a “friend collector” as Taylor Swift. Lena is looking to make friendships with women who will further legitimize her as “the voice of a generation.” You can read some highlights here and here are some excerpts:

Kerry Washington on privacy: “Earlier in my career I was much more super-sharey. There were moments when I wanted to process things that were happening to me more privately, and I didn’t have the space to do it, because once you let people in, they’re in and you don’t get to say, ‘Oh, I want this for myself.’”

On fashion: “I just put myself in a boot camp of figuring it out—and realized that I really loved it. I guess because I came to it later in life, I realized, ‘Oh, going to a fashion show is like going to the opening of Degas at the Met or going to see Swan Lake.’”

On growing up: “I didn’t grow up thinking I was pretty; there was always a prettier girl than me. So I learned to be smart and tried to be funny and develop the inside of me, because I felt like that’s what I had.”

On family: “I just want [daughter Isabelle] to know that she’s heard. Really heard, because I feel like that is what we all really want. When I think about any of the missteps in my life that I’ve made, all of which I’m grateful for, it’s because I just so wanted to be truly seen and heard for who I am and was afraid I wasn’t or wouldn’t be. I see you, I hear you, I’m with you as you are.”

[From Marie Claire]

I understand what Kerry says about handling her private business with more discretion. It’s pretty true – you’d be hard-pressed to find an actress so active on social media and engaged with fans who also manages to be an utter mystery. We know next to nothing about her marriage or her daughter. We know some of her Hollywood friends, but even then… we don’t know who Kerry really spends time with. Is that a good way to operate in today’s celebrity world? I think it is, although it makes for some somewhat boring interviews.

Incidentally, Kerry was just cast as Anita Hill in HBO’s TV movie, Confirmation, about Clarence Thomas’ Senate confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court. Kerry will be executive producing the film too. Hill made the media rounds a few years ago when she was promoting a documentary about her life, her work and her moment of infamy. I watched several of her interviews and she came across so, so well. I think Kerry is sort of perfect casting. But who will play Justice Thomas?!

Milla Jovovich’s Hollywood Hike

Pregnant Milla Jovovich Enjoys A Hike With Her Husband

Almost there!

Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich and husband, director Paul W.S. Anderson, enjoyed a hike with their dogs in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday (March 11). The following day, the expectant mama, 39, stepped out with some pals for a hike at Runyon Canyon in Hollywood.

Last week, the Zoolander star shared a special message with fans via Facebook.

“I have to say, if I wasn’t hiking 5 1/2 to 6 miles every day, I think I would be 20 lbs. heavier than I am right now (185 lbs.) which is still reasonable for pregnancy gain,” Milla wrote. “So after “breakfast” yesterday, Paul drove us home -and I was already falling asleep in the car- where I crashed out immediately for 2 hours on the couch! When I woke up, I could hardly drag myself up, but I knew that a good walk was just what my lethargic body could use to work off some of that horrifically amazing food. I’ve also gained quite a lot of water weight, so my feet felt like they were 10 lbs. a piece and I could hardly put my running shoes on! It all felt like one of those dreams where you’re running, but it feels like no matter how hard you try, you’re running through sand.”

The model-actress went on to talk about the benefits of keeping the body moving.

“Well, we finally got out of the house and the first part of the hike was tough, I admit, but halfway up the mountain, it was like my body just started working or something,” she shared. “It was this great re boot and the cogs started turning. I got more energy and really woke up. Because we went a bit late (after our naps) we took the shorter, but more intense hike, so though I only got 10,500 steps, half of them were vertical which is a much tougher work out.”

She added: “It goes with out saying that with only 3 1/2 weeks to go before delivery, I’m getting kind of exhausted carrying all this extra weight around. Plus ask any pregnant lady and she’ll tell you that getting any sleep at this point is challenging to say the least! My dad and my husband have been taking over in the kitchen, my dad is an amazing chef and my husband does very well under my supervision wink emoticon!”

Milla and Paul are expecting their second daughter. They are already parents to 7-year-old daughter Ever.

Old mobile site shutting down this weekend

Mar 13, 2015 Author: | Filed under: Celebrities

We will be shutting down our old mobile site this weekend. As most of you are aware, we launched a new, touch-friendly mobile site not long ago but some of you are still visiting the old one. We initially kept the old site active because people were still using older devices that didn…

snyderman

Last October, during the height of the Ebola epidemic in East Africa, NBC’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman defiantly broke quarantine on her return to the US. A freelance cameraman working with Snyderman’s team had contracted Ebola in Libera. As a result, Snyderman and her team agreed to a voluntary 21 day quarantine, the disease’s maximum incubation period. Two weeks into their quarantine, Snyderman and other members of her team were spotted getting takeout soup in NJ. When the press called her out on potentially spreading the deadly disease, Snyderman issued a dismissive non-apology. She said, in part, “As a health professional I know that we have no symptoms and pose no risk to the public, but I am deeply sorry for the concerns this episode caused.” After that incident, the quarantine was made mandatory for Snyderman and her group.

Snyderman is now leaving her post at NBC to work at an unnamed medical school. In a statement announcing the move, she cited the controversy over her refusal to adhere to Ebola quarantine guidelines as part of the reason she no longer wants the job.

“I stepped out of the OR a few years ago and it is now time for me to return to my roots, so I am stepping down from my position as Chief Medical Editor at NBC News. Covering the Ebola epidemic last fall in Liberia, and then becoming part of the story upon my return to the U.S., contributed to my decision that now is the time to return to academic medicine. I will be shortly taking up a faculty position at a major U.S. medical school. More needs to be done to communicate medicine and science to our viewers and citizens, especially in times of crisis, and with my experiences in the field and on air, that is going to be a priority for me.

“I have loved my nine years at NBC and I am proud of the work my team has done. Very few people get the chance to combine two professions and I have appreciated the chance to inform the public about medical updates and the plight of so many in other countries. Every moment has been an honor.”

[From Dr. Nancy Snyderman via Deadline]

As Kaiser said to me, at least Snyderman isn’t going to be treating any patients. This lady still doesn’t get it. She thinks it’s the press’s fault for catching her violating quarantine and making a big deal out of it when she knows best. What’s more is that she seems to be implying that the press was irresponsible and riled up the citizenry. “More needs to be done to communicate medicine and science to our viewers and citizens, especially in times of crisis.” She’s referring to the fact that she got called out, right?

Gawker points out that Snyderman may have sealed the deal by slurring through an NBC news segment on peanut allergies last month. She seemed drunk or on pills while struggling to explain the results of a new peanut allergy patch study. You can see that segment here.

Deadline lets us know that Snyderman’s departure may also have to do with a change in leadership at NBC News, which was content to cover for her arrogance at the time. NBC is thought to be hiring Andrew Lack to head up the news division. Lack previously ran NBC News from 1993 to 2001. It’s unknown what his return will mean for Brian Williams, although NBC Nightly News remains top in the ratings with Lester Holt anchoring. It’s doubtful Brian Williams is coming back. Snyderman likely quit before she could get fired. Maybe Williams should do the same.
