Lauren Conrad covers the April issue of Redbook, and I don’t like this cover all that much. It’s mostly because LC’s hair looks totally fried!! LC used to have decent hair so I’m not sure what’s happening here. Anyway, she’s been sort of quiet since getting married last summer, but she talks about her new husband, William Tell, and how he’s the first guy she’s ever wanted to marry. Which is weird, because I’m pretty sure she and Kyle Howard broke up because he wasn’t interested in marriage, but whatever. Some highlights from Redbook:

Do women have to be loud divas to be successful? “Over the last few years I’ve been able to work with several women who I really respected because they didn’t take on that role of being a bitch. They were strong, but they were kind and they didn’t need to shout to be heard. A lot of women feel like they need to be tough in order to be taken seriously. We have this idea that kindness is weakness, which I don’t think is true.”

Meeting William Tell: “[I was] never a person who was obsessed with the idea of marriage.” Lauren says that William is “the first person I ever thought I could marry.”

William Tell is a lawyer: “I watch The Good Wife with him, and he’s like ‘That’s incorrect. You would actually do this…’ It’s a nightmare!”

Whether her kids will do a reality show: “I definitely wouldn’t encourage my child to do reality television.”

LC also says she’s not feeling any pressure to start a family just yet, which sounds about right because she’s just 29 years old. I bet she waits another year or so and when she does get knocked up, her business will expand with TONS of kids’ stuff (although she already has a kids’ line).

Yeah… I know this was sort of boring, but you know what? I do kind of like her. It’s nice to see that at least one person made it out of the reality show system with some kind of grace and business skill. As for LC’s comment about women not needing to be “bitches” to get things done… I see her point. But what if we’re just naturally bitchy and we happen to get things done? There seems to be a presupposition that if a woman comes across as a bitch, then she’s just playing that role to get something done. What if that’s just her personality?

Out of morbid curiousity, I often wonder what it’s like to be Shia LaBeouf’s girlfriend. I don’t find him attractive because he’s grubby looking, wears the same pants and boots, etc. Shia’s a method actor to a fault, and he’s had many issues. Imagine getting a phone call about your boyfriend getting arrested after a meltdown or punching a hole in a wall. Shia’s dealing with his demons, but I suspect dating him must be difficult. Behavior aside, the rat tail would be a deal breaker.

We don’t know much about Shia’s current lady, Mia Goth. She’s a model and graces the cover of Vogue Italia (which I’ve included). Mia dabbles in acting. She met Shia on the set of that godforsaken Lars von Trier movie. They’ve been together about two years. Now she’s flashing what looks like an engagement ring. Mia’s been worn a large diamond solitare for at least a week, but no one noticed because … rat tail. The Mail has some close-up photos of the ring, which looks nice.

I’d say these two are definitely engaged. Good for them? Mia’s got her work cut out for her, but she must love Shia enough to stick around through his erratic behavior. What’s up with their escalator makeout sessions? So weird.

Amicable exes Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen took a family selfie Monday.

“Sami’s birthday dinner,” Denise Instagrammed the fun photo with their daughters Lola, 9, and Sam, who was celebrating her 11th birthday.

The proud mama took to Twitter to wish her eldest daughter a happy birthday.

“Happy 11th Birthday to my gorgeous Sami!!!! I love you so much!!!!!!!,” she wrote.

The Twisted star, 44, also dished on Sami’s new pink ‘do.

“Treating the birthday girl to pink highlights! @GoddardBragg w/ fab @lorri_gc
she’s been asking me for 2 yrs! #pleasedontjudgemyparenting,” she shared.

Denise has dished on co-parenting in peace with her bad boy ex.

“From day one, I’ve always wanted to keep the kids a priority and suck it up for them, but it takes two people to do that,” she said, adding that Charlie agrees. “He sees the benefit, too, that when we get along, it’s good for the kids. It’s not fair to them to be around parents who can’t stand each other.”

Here are some photos of Jill Duggar and her cat-hating husband Derick Dillard celebrating their baby shower over the weekend. They had their baby shower at… Olive Garden. I honestly didn’t know Olive Garden would host a baby shower, or maybe the Duggars just organized a private room or something? Financially, I guess it makes sense. Jill Duggar does seem to go in for thrift – last fall, we discussed her baby registry at Walmart, and how people could buy Gatorade and Purell for the baby. Olive Garden has pretty reasonable prices, so if you’re going to do a baby shower there, lots of people could eat for less than $15 each.

I was trying to figure out if this baby shower signaled a larger movement, like the Duggars and Olive Garden are getting into bed with each other politically (like Duck Dynasty and Cracker Barrel). I thought I remembered something about Olive Garden and their parent company, Darden, being in bed with conservative politicians. I had to look it up – Darden is a big political contributor overall and they do give a lot to Republican politicians. But they hedge their bets and give to some Democrats too. Darden also looked for ways to get out of complying with the Affordable Care Act. My verdict: Darden is probably not in bed with the Duggars, but the Duggars do like that Darden has mostly conservative views. Plus, who knows? Maybe Jill Duggar has just been craving unlimited breadsticks.

Also, Jilly is due really soon! She’s due exactly nine months after her wedding date, June 21, 2014. Which would mean… end of this month. She waited a while to have her baby shower, right?

I wouldn’t say I’m the most relaxed traveller. It’s because I like order. And, well, there are so many unpredictable variables these days when you travel: the weather, the airline switching aircrafts resulting in you losing your aisle seat, constantly worrying about the luggage,…      

Maybe I’ve just gotten used to the Pinocchio Butt, but it almost looks proportional in these photos, right? Khloe Kardashian was back in LA yesterday, shopping for some jewelry in her workout clothes, the Pinocchio Butt on display. Khloe had been in Florida with French Montana last week, because apparently that’s still happening. People saw French and Khloe in Key West, and then they both returned to LA, where they went to Tyga’s concert with Kylie Jenner. Because apparently that’s still happening too.

According to Us Weekly, Khloe is juggling the affections of both French and her estranged husband Lamar Odom. Lamar and Khloe still aren’t divorced, remember? He never signed the papers. And sources say Lamar and Khloe are still talking, texting and hooking up. God, she just has really bad taste and really bad luck with men.

Meanwhile, Khloe is still fighting to get the Fashion Police gig on E!, but Hollywood Life says that at this point, Khloe just wants to make sure that they don’t hire Amber Rose. Considering E!’s involvement with all things Kardashian, I tend to think Khloe has a better chance at the gig than Amber Rose.

Actor Neil Patrick Harris enjoyed a Sunday funday with his son Gideon and daughter Harper.

“Fashionis-tots” the How I Met Your Mother star, 41, captioned on Instagram while his 4-year-old twins posed in their stylish duds.

Gideon looked preppy in a plaid button down with a blue cardigan and leather jacket. Meanwhile, Harper dressed as a diva in a pink furry jacket, sparkling dress and boots.

The Gone Girl actor has been enjoying some down time with his kids.

“I guess they liked the chicken,” NPH captioned a sweet video he posted on Monday.

The Doogie Howser alum also took to Twitter Monday with a special message.

“I’m loving this downtime with the kids – taking them to school, preparing meals, reading books. Lots of work but so worth it. #grateful,” he wrote.

The actor – who raises the kids with husband David Burtka – recently shared some family photos on Instagram.

“They’re pretty quintessential boy and girl,” Neil recently told Inside the Actor’s Studio. “Harper is a girl, girl, girl, girl. She wears mermaid outfits and has falls in her hair and you have to announce her when she comes down the staircase.”

As for Gideon, he’s “all boy.”

“He loves trucks and construction and he likes superheroes,” NPH continued. “When he gets mad, he puts his fists together and just shakes.”

For months now, I’ve been ignoring this kid. There’s been a lot of press surrounding this “Benedict Cumberbatch lookalike” boy named Tyler Michell. He’s a little English guy and he’s only 16 years old. I didn’t want to cover it because it felt like it was just a weird viral blip and I didn’t think Tyler was really “in” on it. But as it turns out, Tyler wants the attention and he’s giving interviews now. Interviews about how he looks sort of like a young Benedict Cumberbatch. You can see Tyler’s Instagram here (please remember he’s just 16 and like many 16-year-old boys, he thinks period jokes are hilarious).

Does he have a passing resemblance to Bendy? Sure. Maybe this is my American-ness talking, but I tend to think there are probably a lot of dudes in England with a passing resemblance to Bendy. Seriously, there are so many pale guys with high cheekbones and weak chins. But Tyler is special, I guess. He already has 19,000 followers on Instagram and he’s giving interviews about their likeness. He told The Telegraph (via People):

“It started out as a joke – my close friends and family would tease me and say I looked like Benedict Cumberbatch. I guess I look like him a little, but I really didn’t take it seriously. Now people are messaging me and saying I should have won the Oscar. I get girls from Brazil saying they want to meet me in the U.K., which is crazy as I’m just a teenage boy sitting at home … I’m a huge fan of Benedict, but I don’t think I look like him.”

It would be interesting to see how far a kid could go just by looking sort of like Benedict Cumberbatch. Like, if Gatiss and Moffat do any more Sherlock flashback scenes, would they hire Tyler? If Benedict is doing a film where they need brief scenes of him as a teenager, would they hire Tyler?
