Amicable exes Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony celebrated their son Max and daughter Emme‘s 7th birthday on Saturday (February 21).
“Party time!!! HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY TO THE COCONUTS!!” Lopez Instagrammed the selfie. “#thesetwoknowhowtoparty #twins #LOVE #familia.”
In another shot from the birthday bash, J. Lo is seen grinning with her father David Lopez.
The Minecraft-themed birthday bash was held at Lopez’s Los Angeles-based home.
In celebration of Oscar weekend, the singer-actress, 45, posted a photo in a glam outfit while walking down a spiral staircase.
After seven years of marriage, Lopez and Anthony split in 2011. They both filed divorce papers asking for joint legal and physical custody of the twins.
While Lopez is currently single, Anthony recently got engaged to model Shannon De Lima.

Congratulations are in order for Jack Osbourne and Lisa Osbourne.
The reality star, 29, and his wife, 28, are expecting their second child, he announced via Instagram Saturday. With their daughter Pearl, 2½, smiling by mom’s bare baby bump, Osbourne captioned the photo: “Supprise!!!!! #round2 #babyinbound.”
Lisa also shared the happy news on her blog, RaddestMom.com.
“I’m pregnant! Pearl is very happy to become a big sister,” she writes. “She diligently reads her ‘I’m a big sister’ books every night & recites to me her plans of bathing, feeding, singing to, and holding the baby. We are more than halfway through this thing & are very excited to be parents again! Thanks for all the well wishes.”
The expectant parents, who were wed in 2012, experienced a late-term miscarriage in 2013.
Baby on-the-way will be the second grandchild for Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne.
“My parents are really good grandparents,” Jack recently shared with Parade. “They’re super hands-on and I’ll leave Pearl with them for a few hours and it’s good.”
A shaken Kim Kardashian is thankful to be “safe” after a minor car accident in Montana on Saturday (February 21). Joined by sisters Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and her 20-month-old daughter North West, they skidded off the road after hitting black ice.
According to TMZ, Khloe was driving the group down a road when a semi-truck drove by their car, leading to snow hitting their front windows. The snow blocked Khloé’s vision, which resulted in her car spinning and landing in a ditch.
Local police arrived on the scene, and reported, “This was not a crash. It’s called a slide-off. It happened because the roads were pretty slick and there were poor driving conditions,” Capt Mark Wilfore told E! News. “There was no damage to their vehicle or any other property. There were no injuries and no citations issued.”
“Thank you God for watching over us and keeping us safe,” Kim captioned a scenic shot via Instagram after the incident.
One day earlier, the sisters were having a blast on the slopes. Kim shared some selfies with Khloe and pals Jonathan Cheban and Malika.
As it turns out, the group were celebrating Jonathan’s 41st birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my BFF @jonathancheban Love you!!!!,” Kim captioned a shot with her bestie and a birthday cake.
The accident comes exactly two weeks after Bruce Jenner was involved in a fatal car crash in Malibu, Calif. The former Olympian may be at fault for the crash, which killed Kardashian family neighbor Kim Howe.

Jena Malone aimed to capture the spirit of the Independent Spirit Awards last night. Jena’s always adventurous with her fashion choices, and this Ulyana Sergeenko couture dress is no exception. It reminds me of an upside down, sparkly chandelier. All eyes went to the silk waffle skirt with a reflectve mint, white, and black pattern. The sweetheart neckline is a bit too precious, and the belly cutout functions as the “too much” detail. Jena got matchy with a turquoise clutch. This look is SO busy and very try hard. Tell me I’m wrong, and it’ll be okay.
One of the more interesting things about the Spirit awards is how stars get papped in the parking lot. So we got some photos of Jenna smoking alongside Paul Thomas Anderson. Not too classy.
Olivia Munn wore a Prabal Gurung gown. She was escorted by hot Aaron Rodgers. From the neck up, Olivia looks lovely, but this look was full-on cruise ship glamour with a halter neck, sequins, chiffon skirt, and backless detail. Olivia’s very good at being noticed, but this dress belongs on The Love Boat.
Kristen Wiig often evokes Jennifer Aniston on the red carpet, and this LBD does nothing to discourage that comparison. Kristen wore this black Yigal Azrouel dress with a peekaboo cutout. The white Bionda Castana shoes with mint-colored bows stop the look from being boring. Oh, and Aniston would never be chop her hair into shag-inspired pixie cut, which is very cute on Kristen.
Jessica Chastain went for an LBD as well in this Saint Laurent number. I’d like to chop the crocheted sleeves off, and then it would be a nice, beachy dress. Chastain played it safe with black pumps and diamond earrings. Classic but dull.
Rinko Kikuchi wore a Chanel resort dress. This is my favorite dress of the night. The runway version was more garish. Rinko pared the look down to essentials. The eastern-inspired print pops alongside her matchy eyeshadow. This would have been all wrong for a different awards show, but the Spirit awards are supposed to be fun.
Here’s Grumpy Cat herself, Aubrey Plaza in a Suno dress that took patterns way too far. This dress hurts my eyes, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Audrey couldn’t look in the mirror to do something with her hair.
Jared Leto thought it was Grammys night. Rock on, man!

Here are some photos of Emma Stone at yesterday’s Independent Spirit Awards. She was nominated for Birdman and she lost (to Patricia Arquette), which is going to happen at the Oscars too. For what it’s worth, I don’t think Emma cares that much. She’s barely campaigned for her nomination, although she has dutifully promoted Birdman for months. It’s always funny how she’s able to find that balance – she did it with The Help too. She made tons of appearances on behalf of The Help, but she found a way to take a backseat the entire time and let Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer get all of the (deserved) acclaim.
Her dress is Monique Lhuillier, a label I have never associated with Emma. The dress has a weird cut out detail at the waist, and it provides a weird illusion to make Emma’s waist look even smaller than it already is. I just saw Birdman this weekend, and let me tell you… her thinness bothered me. I’m not trying to start a flame war or anything and I’m not yelling at her. I’m just saying that her weight loss is really noticeable and I sincerely hope she’s finding a way to get and stay healthy.
Marion Cotillard continued her parade of WTF-ery with this completely odd Valentino ensemble. Really? This? I mean, the skirt looks like a typical Marion choice: patterned, chintzy, bordering on silly. But then to throw a Walmart-looking sweater over it?! What the hell?
Kerry Washington in Balenciaga. Is it just me or is this a little bit extra for the loosey-goosey Spirit Awards? Like, it feels pinched and much too serious.
Scott Eastwood brought the bro to the Spirits, hells yes.
Common is probably going to be “Oscar winner Common” by the end of the day.
Diego Luna is always perfect. I love him.

Yesterday’s Independent Spirit Awards were a lot of fun, as usual. There were some decent jokes, memorable speeches, blatant product placement and a laid back vibe that only the Spirit Awards could achieve. Kristen Bell and Fred Armisen hosted, and they had a nice musical number, a twist on “A Little Bit Country, Little Bit Rock and Roll” as well as a cute bit where they seemingly ad libbed what the attendees were thinking. My favorite part was when they honed in on Andy Samberg and Armisen made Samberg sound like an idiot.
The big winners last night were Birdman and Boyhood, Birdman took home best feature while Boyhood earned best director, with some awards going to Nightcrawler and Whiplash. The complete list of winners is here. As usual we’ll be covering the fashion.
First off is co-host Kristen Bell in a bizarre black Andrew Gn dress featuring a green side bow on the waist and a diagonal hem that trailed down to reveal half of a lilac miniskirt. The fabric on the skirt gives the illusion that her dress is blowing up to reveal old timey bloomers. What possessed her to wear this? The good news is that Kristen ditched this dress for a white eyelet top and skirt for the ceremony. Here’s what she wore inside:
Presenter Emmy Rossum was super cute in a cream sleeveless Oscar de la Renta gown with floral embroidery. If you look closely you can see that the skirt under the mesh overlay features wide horizontal stripes. This is a feminine, playful look and it was so pretty on camera. Of course I think Emmy elevates most of the things she wears though.
Nominee and presenter Jenny Slate was in a tight Mary Katrantzou strapless gown with a beige top and a bright yellow skirt. The colors are kind of fug and there are random numbers and letters embossed on the fabric, which is strange. I think she’s somewhat pulling this off. Like Emmy, she makes up for it with her attitude.
Patricia Arquette won for best supporting female. She’s pretty much a lock for tonight’s Oscars. Arquette was in a black Raoul top and skirt featuring beading and sequins along the neckline and bottom of the short-sleeved top. The outfit was kind of forgettable and I hope she brings it tonight. She was gorgeous in Vivienne Westwood at the SAGs. When Patricia went up to accept her award, an announcement got triggered unexpectedly and she joked “Was that God? She sounded great.” She also thanked network television for helping her make a living and gave a shout out to film distributors.
Patricia’s costar Lorelei Linklater was in a black McQ Alexander McQueen pantsuit. This girl is 20, she loves goth style and yet she’s still able to smile like that on the red carpet. I think she’s super cute and I enjoy that she’s staying true to herself.
Look at her boyfriend! Two peas in a pod.
I’m throwing Gillian Jacobs in at the end here because I miss Community and because I really liked her little contemporary Preen dress. She didn’t Britta this up. One complaint: I like her better blonder.

God, I’ve missed Cate Blanchett so much during this awards season. I have actually had fashion pangs for Cate and for Lupita. We were so blessed last year!!! Anyway, Cate came out to the Independent Spirit Awards yesterday. Cate hasn’t been around at all during this awards season, which makes sense because she’d rather be in Australia, with her family. But she flew in to present at the Oscars (as the reigning Best Actress winner, she’ll present Best Actor this year) and I’m assuming she just stopped by the Spirit Awards for fun, to see her friends and hang out a bit. Cate wore this heart-covered Schiaparelli Couture dress. I would loathe this on anyone else. If Julianne Moore wore it, I would be SO MAD. If Lupita wore it, I would think she was insane. But on Cate, it looks sophisticated and lovely. How does she manage to do that?!
I think we should start calling Scarlett Johansson “The Body.” If anything, she looks even better since giving birth. Yes, I’m not crazy about her stupid Miley hair and yes, this LBD by Bec & Bridge isn’t anything special. But she still looks pretty and glowing.
Carmen Ejogo in Roksanda. I hate this. But all I can see is a beautiful woman who got really unfortunate bangs, so that’s clouding what I think of the jumpsuit.
Ewan McGregor arrived at the Spirit Awards on a motorcycle. Because he’s dangerous (to your pants).
Matt Bomer is perfection. I’m not sure about his high-heel boots though. Did he borrow them from Tom Cruise or something?!

Not so shockingly, Saturday’s Independent Spirit Awards likely predicted every major award at tonight’s Oscars. There was a split between Birdman for Best Picture and Richard Linklater (Boyhood) for Best Director. Julianne Moore, JK Simmons, Michael Keaton and Patricia Arquette all took home acting honors. The only one in that group who isn’t a sure thing? Keaton. If I was a voting Academy member, I would probably have given it to Eddie Redmayne. But we’ll see.
In any case, Julianne Moore looked pretty good in this Christian Dior cocktail dress. Here’s the thing: I don’t mind redheads in red. I don’t mind redheads in green. But I have issues with any hair color in weird yellow tones. The dress is so shiny that the yellow reads more as gold, but it comes dangerously close to making Julianne look really sallow. Also: I really, really hope her relationship withstands the Best Actress Curse.
Richard Linklater wasn’t at the Spirit Awards, so when he won Best Director, Ethan Hawke came up and accepted the award on his behalf. God help me, I would still hit it. I’m not even sorry.
Winner JK Simmons- he’s totally going to win the Oscar. And good for him. On one of those THR Oscar Ballot pieces, one of the voters referred to him as “the journeyman actor.” That’s a nice way of saying he’s one of the greatest character actors working today.
Here’s JK’s Whiplash costar Miles Teller. Whiplash is nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, so that’s why Miles is everywhere these days. I’m glad he shaved his ratty mustache (I think it was for a role anyway).
Here’s Oprah and nominee David Oyelowo. I love his suit!!
I love Ava DuVernay’s ensemble. She didn’t win anything, which is a damn shame.
