Expectant mom Molly Sims recently celebrated her baby shower with a group of pals, including fellow celebrity moms Rachel Zoe and Vanessa Lachey.
“My nearest and dearest ladies (along with a couple of gents) recently gathered for my baby shower thrown by my wonderful girlfriends,” Sims writes on her website in an article, titled, “Showered With Love.”
The Las Vegas star, 41, went on to thank her friends and family.
“Shannon Rotenberg, thank you to the moon and back for hosting us at your amazing house,” she says. “Alexis Sims, thank you for coming all that way. I couldn’t ask for a better sister-in-law. I was sad that my sweet parents were not able to make it due to the flu. We missed you Embeth and Alissa!”
The model-actress – who is already mom to 2-year-old son Brooks with husband Scott Stuber – went on to talk about having a second baby shower.
“Did you know that they are now calling a shower for a second time mom a “sprinkle”?,” she writes. “I had NEVER heard of that before! The weather tried to sprinkle, but we did not let a few drops of rain dampen our celebratory spirits.”
It sounds like there were some fun games at the afternoon soirée.
“Now I’m not going to mention any names, but someone clearly went a bit overboard with the string game to guess how big my belly was… Joey Maalouf you are SO in trouble!!,” she jokes.
After describing the “supremely delish” food, the floral arrangements and some of her favorite gifts, the mom-to-be gushed about her hubby and adorable tot who made an appearance.
“One of my best parts of the shower was near the end when my two favorite boys in the entire world showed up,” she shares. “Could they be more handsome? I’m totally not biased at all.”
It sounds like she had a wonderful time celebrating her daughter on-the-way.
“Overall I had an absolutely magical day,” Sims concludes. “I know my little girl in my belly felt all the love from all of my friends and family.”

Doesn’t get much cuter than this!
Tiffani Thiessen‘s daughter Harper, 4, and her BFF, The Guncles‘ 4-year-old daughter Simone, wore matching “Best Friend” shirts on Valentine’s Day.

Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss are doing the twinsies thing on the March cover of Vogue. The shoot is by Mikael Jansson – you can see the full slideshow here. The theme is “best friends’ roadtrip” and the photos are really good. Like, this is one of the best editorials I’ve seen from Vogue in a while (possibly because Mario Testino and Annie Leibovitz had nothing to do with it?). As for the BFFs interview… it’s very girly. It’s very cutesy. Maybe it’s because I’m too old for Swifty’s charms, but I found much of the cover story to be, in a word, cloying. I also had a clique of really close girlfriends in my late teens and early 20s – many girls do. It’s a college thing for a lot of young women. But I feel pretty strongly that this is just Swifty’s latest phase, and she will outgrow it like so many other women before her. But for now, these friendships are the most magical thing EVER!! Some highlights:
Why Swifty started developing a group of girlfriends: “To the way people were overreacting to my life. I was really irritated by the whole serial-dater play that people tried to make about me. I just decided I wasn’t willing to provide them that kind of entertainment anymore. I wasn’t going to go out on dates and have them be allowed to take pictures and say whatever they wanted about our body language. I wasn’t going to sit next to somebody and flirt with them for five minutes, because I know the next day he’ll be rumored to be my boyfriend. I just kind of took the narrative back. It’s unfortunate I had to do that. And it’s unfortunate that now I have this feeling like if I were to open myself up to love, that would be a career weakness.”
Taking the year off from dating: “This last year has felt very different than any other year of my life. I’ve felt more settled and unapologetic about who I am and what I stand for. I think that might be one of those symptoms of growing up and becoming your own person, and depending less on other people’s opinions of you. I just hope that keeps going—because I’m liking it.”
Whether she’s a Mean Girl about letting people into her clique: “I want to make the table as big as possible, and I want everyone to sit with me.”
[From Vogue]
Swifty also talks a lot about her clique’s diversity, like she’s hanging with brain surgeons or something. Like, she’s BFFs with Lena Dunham and Karlie and Selena Gomez and she also hangs with Jaime King and Lily Aldridge and Kylie Jenner. Which actually doesn’t sound all that diverse, you know? Swifty’s BFFs are almost exclusively models or entertainers and the crowd is 98% white and rich.
Ugh, this video is super-annoying. I couldn’t even finish it.

As I was giggling over this story, Leonardo DiCaprio sidetracked me with his Instagram page. Have you ever checked out Leo’s photo collection? It’s amazing — a vast collection of wildlife photos interspersed with Leo posing alongside world diplomats at environmental conferences. He’s working so hard to make up for his carbon footprint that will see him partying with a bevy of models on gaz-guzzling yachts several times a year.
Nowhere on Leo’s Instagram page will you find evidence of his modelizing ways. But he’s so reknowned for his party boy rep that the Academy doesn’t take him seriously, and he’s the subject of supermodel vadge jokes at the Globes. Cosmopolitan cornered nine different models at NYC’s SI: Swim event last week. The magazine asked for their opinion on Leo’s modelizing reputation. The results were hilarious:
Sara Sampaio: “If you’re in NYC, you always see him around. He likes blondes.”
Ashley Smith: “When I was at the Cannes Film Festival, I saw him at a party. And he literally showed up, like, the most dressed down [person]. He was in a baseball cap. Everyone else was in tuxedos, he came in a baseball cap, he was there for five minutes, found a girl, and left.”
Lily Aldridge: [Starts laughing. Shakes her head. No comment.]
Nina Agdal: “Leonardo just goes out with the same group of people as everybody. So I hate that people, like, start stirring stuff up, because he’s just in the same area. That happens a lot. But that’s gossip, right?”
Chanel Iman: “I’m not going to say. I can’t comment about it. You’re going to get me in trouble!”
Chrissy Teigen: “That’s so funny, because I have never run into him. I’m almost offended [laughs]. Everyone talks about him and models, and the thing is, in this industry, that’s kind of who you’re around the most. John and I used to joke about it many years ago when we first met. We always wondered why models are with musicians. You date your coworkers, and in a way, we were coworkers. I never thought anything of that stuff. Good for all of them. Good for the girls, good for Leo.”
[From Cosmopolitan]
For what it’s worth, Leo has hooked up with at least one of these ladies. I do agree with Chrissy’s last statement. Leo gets what he wants out of these girls, but they know the drill. Most of them realize Leo’s not looking for marriage. The models gain exposure and don’t go away empty handed. If they end up being Leo’s one-and-only girl for any period of time, he’ll usually gift them a Prius. That’s a better (and more environmentally sound) deal than the infamous Derek Jeter swag bag.
FYI, Leo and Rihanna may still be fooling around with each other. They partied at the same club on Friday night. Interesting.

Katherine Heigl and her daughter Naleigh are spending the weekend horsing around!
Katherine Heigl is enjoying a bit of downtime this weekend and it looks like she’s having a lot of fun. As a matter of fact, her daughter Naleigh enjoyed her first time riding horseback this weekend and momma couldn’t be happier of her oldest girl. Katherine was so happy that she shared a photo on Instagram with the following caption:
“My little lady on her first horseback ride! Crazy proud of how great she did!! #mamapride #ranchliving.”
Katherine and husband Josh Kelley decided to move the family to Utah nearly five years ago and it looks like they’re definitely enjoying their time there.

This is just adorable.
Kim Zociak’s daughter loves to clean, so she snapped a picture of Kaia cleaning the house and shared it on Instagram. It goes without saying, but the picture is just too-cute-for-words!
Kim captioned her photo:
“Kaia the Quicker Picker Upper #SheLivesForPaperTowels #StartEmYoung.”
It looks like Kim’s housekeeper, Jam, is a good role model for Kaia. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, seeing as how the family chef, Tracey, seems to be a good role model for KJ, as well.

This is just sooooo cute!
Kim Kardashian decided to get North West a Valentine’s Day gift and in typical Kim Kardashian fashion — it’s fashion-related!
Kim took to Instagram to show off the present she picked up for North West, which is a hot pink pair of Dr. Martens. Kim captioned her Instagram update:
“She loves her Valentine ‘s Day present!”
In a new interview for Dandy magazine, Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie opens up about family life with Brad Pitt and their six kids: Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 8, and 6-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
On their family-friendly wedding: “It wasn’t a wedding in grand style, but we were all very at ease, very cool. It was absolutely adorable to see how excited [our children] were by the idea, and how much they were all involved. For example, we told Knox and Shiloh they’d carry the rings without specifying they’d have a cushion to carry them. On the day, they arrived with two matched cushions on their own. I imagine they’d seen it in a movie. In short, they were so cute!”
On if her kids are allowed to get tattoos one day: “I don’t see how I’ll be able to stop them later on. They only need to look at me to know that I’ve very few arguments to dissuade them. Brad, he’s much firmer on the question: It’s ‘nyet’!”
On finding “Mr. Right”: “At 20, we’re all looking for Prince Charming, the big handsome hunk, only we’re generally disappointed because of his instability. At 40, you know what you want: a real man.”
On her shift away from acting: “It’s somewhat personal. When my mother died, I realized how much my being an actress was linked to her desire to be an actress herself, and especially what satisfaction it brought her when she saw me onscreen. Once she was gone, I didn’t feel the same attraction for it. What I really like is to be behind the camera, to put others into the light. Being in the spotlight’s shine doesn’t interest me. I prefer to have my head almost underwater … than be dainty in front of the cameras.”
