The Man from U.N.C.L.E. trailer looks amazing

Feb 12, 2015 Author: | Filed under: Celebrities

It’s all kinds of porny—suit porny, handsome-guy-porny, spy porny—but mostly it’s straight vintage porn. The first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is here and it looks amazing. I mean literally, it LOOKS amazing. Ritchie has always been a stylish di…

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner, some legit models, and some party girls all attended last night’s amFar gala at NYC Cipriani last night. Kendall wore a bright read Romona Kevesa gown with gold Louboutin heels. She looks so classy compared to her sisters, and I do think she has longevity as a model despite her brattiness. We all know how she got the job, but yes, she’s pretty and statuesque. This dress is gorgeous, and Kendall has the body to show it off.

Paris Hilton was there of course. She can’t miss a chance to do her “that’s hot” face on a red carpet. This dress isn’t terrible, and it’s downright sophisticated by Paris standards.

There’s nothing objectively wrong with Michelle Rodriguez‘s Vivienne Westwood dress, but it’s very similar to one she wore at a LACMA gala last year.

Karlie Kloss looked fantastic in this slinky black dress. She can work a thigh-high split.

Naomi Campbell wore my favorite dress of the night. This deep purple color is amazing.

wenn22175046

Now for the parade of awful. Heidi Klum just can’t help herself. She lives for the chance to wear a lacy nightmare to all amFar galas. This dress is Azarro.

wenn22175066

Rosario Dawson in salmon colored Emilio Pucci … well, she was having fun.

Toni Garrn did mummy bridal chic. I almost called her Erin Heatherton. Leo’s exes are so interchangeable!

wenn22175008

Nicky Hilton tried to mimic Lupita N’yongo‘s cape, which looked good on Lupita. Nicky doesn’t fare as well. The red is very Valentine-y.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present Iman. Everyone else can go home now. (Photos of Ivanka Trump, Kelly Rutherford, Brooke Shields, Coco Rocha, and Camila Alves — all in bad dresses — are in the gallery.)

I would have liked to see the Sam Taylor-Johnson’s version of Fifty Shades Of Grey without the EL James interference. I would have liked to see her make the movie that was her complete vision. Because you can actually see the internal struggles unfold on film.

For starters, it’s t…

It’s been more than a month since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their daughter and we still haven’t had a confirmation on the baby’s name. Ryan had every opportunity to reveal the name while he was doing the promotional rounds last week, but he played games and stoked the gossip fires. Well, now E! News has a lead or a source or something. E! says Blake and Ryan have named their baby girl…

JAMES.

James Lively Reynolds.

Or maybe just James Reynolds.

Or maybe James [Middle Name] Reynolds.

Here’s the thing… I actually like boy names for girls. Truly. My name is boy-ish in India, although it’s been “feminized” by a few generations. I love when girls are named Charlie or Chris. But most of the time, those are nicknames and the formal names are Charlotte or Christina. It’s quite another thing to give your daughter the first name of “James.” But now we know why Ryan rejected all of David Letterman’s name guesses. Letterman was only suggesting girl names. I have no doubt that James is a “family name” and of course it’s a Biblical name too. So there you go. James Reynolds is happening.

PS… I can already hear the references to Jaime King, who went by James King for a while when she modeled. But her real name was always Jaime King. James was a nickname and work-around for her as a model.

Ben Affleck & His Karate Kids

Feb 12, 2015 Author: Admin | Filed under: Celebrities
Ben Affleck seen taking his daughters Seraphina and Violet to the karate class and later seen shopping with them in Los Angeles

Batman v. Superman star Ben Affleck was photographed with his two daughters – Violet, 9, and Seraphina, 6 – in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday (February 11).

After picking up the girls from school, the Academy Award-winner, 42, took them to karate class. Looking every bit the doting daddy, the actor carried his daughters’ belongings while Violet toted a heart-shaped pillow and Sera skipped alongside.

The day before, we spotted mama Jennifer Garner and lil’ brother Samuel — who is set to celebrate his third birthday later this month.

The father-of-three is set to hit the big screen as The Caped Crusader in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

He is currently enjoying some family time in L.A. during a break from his new film, The Accountant, which is being shot in Atlanta, Georgia.

FFN_Vaughn_Vince_HEA_013015_51640726

Here are some photos (the grey suit pics) of Vince Vaughn in character for True Detective’s second season. He plays some kind of sketchy career criminal with an empire built on illegality. Many think that Vaughn could finally be returning to what should have always been his career path: a decent-to-good character actor. He played around with being a leading man and a comedic lead, to varying degrees of success, but he’s always been an underrated character actor.

Anyway, he’s promoting his new film, Unfinished Business, and he gave a lengthy interview to Playboy for the March issue. You can read the full piece here – at first, Vaughn sounds really calm, reflective, interesting and professional. He doesn’t disrespect anyone, he compliments many of the people he met early in his career (like Johnny Depp) and he even says a few words about his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston. Then the interview totally goes off the rails when Vaughn starts talking about politics and racism. WHOA. It’s a good read. Some highlights:

Losing his virginity: “I always had a lot of fun with girls, even before Swingers. It’s interesting; I was a late bloomer and never really found my way with the opposite sex until later in high school. I think I was 17, maybe 19, when I lost my virginity.”

He was never a pick-up artist: “I was never someone who needed to be with a new woman every night. That was never my thing. I always had an easy time joking and getting along with women, and I liked to go out and have fun and talk and joke and meet people and dance. But I was never a pickup artist, per se. I have two older sisters, so I always felt comfortable with women and respected them… Gaming on women has become almost like the dark arts. Like, if you’re not cutting her down or using psychological tricks to make fun of her, you won’t get anywhere. I would argue it’s the opposite. I would suggest that if you take the avenue of putting a woman down or making fun of her so she feels insecure enough to go out with you, you’re ultimately screwing yourself. I mean, let’s face it, if you require coaching and techniques to get a woman, it’ll come out as dishonest and you’ll probably end up unhappy or alone.”

His relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “You know, she’s great. For me personally—and I think most well-known actors who are together feel this way—I never enjoyed the paparazzi side of it. You like someone and you’re spending time with them; that’s separate and that was all fine. But I really spent most of that time finding ways not to be drawn into the attention. I think lying low and not talking about it put me in a good position later, because I just wasn’t part of anything.

He’s a libertarian: “I would use the term libertarian to describe my politics. I like the principles of the Constitution and the republic, which is a form of government built around the law.”

The federal government shouldn’t run things? “Trusting the federal government to know what we need and to run things well feels like a bad idea. You see that in the foreign policy of force, where the United States decides to go into another country to make things turn out a certain way. It doesn’t work. It causes more problems. Just look at any of these undeclared wars. You’re suggesting at gunpoint that you’ll decide how things will go. The results haven’t gone well. I’ve been over to Afghanistan and Iraq. I’ve been with the USO. I’ve gone over with movies and done stuff. I care a lot about all the kids and families in those situations. It can’t be easy. But I don’t agree with a foreign policy that says you can send troops places without declaring a war and without having a plan to win the war.”

Whether he believes in affirmative action: “I’ll answer that with a question. Do you believe that using race as a factor in evaluating a person is a good way to operate?… Then you’re evaluating someone based on race, which is racism. Rights don’t come to you because you’re a man or a woman or African American or European or Jewish. And I certainly don’t think the federal government should be in the business of deciding things or handing out money based on factors like these. It’s the same with same-sex marriage. Who cares what people feel about each other? Let people decide for themselves who they can marry. It’s not the government’s job. It’s between you and your partner and your church or synagogue or whatever you believe in.

It’s always nice to hear from a white man who has been given tons of opportunities to succeed – even after failing spectacularly many times – discuss how level the playing field is for minorities. Thank you, Vince Vaughn. Yeah, I have a lot of thoughts about this and his white privilege but I think I’ll just leave it all for you guys in the comments.

Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively’s Baby Name Revealed?

Feb 12, 2015 Author: Admin | Filed under: Celebrities

Reportedly, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively has chosen a very different name than Violet for their first-born child.

According to E! News, the Hollywood couple went for a moniker close to mom’s when naming their daughter.

Sources say that the couple have named their baby girl James (to match mom’s masculine first name).

It’s been a baby name mystery ever since the couple welcomed their daughter late last year. When asked if his daughter is named Violet, Reynolds recently set the record straight.

“No that’s not the name,” he said. “I don’t want to get into that but I don’t know where that came from.”

In an attempt to discover the baby’s name, David Letterman recently drilled The Voices star.

“I should’ve worn my cup!” Reynolds joked. “I didn’t know I was going to busted this hard.”

After confirming that it is a family name, Reynolds went on to say, “It’s not Elaine,” which is his MIL’s name.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and North West in NYC last night. They were coming back from Kanye’s Adidas show. It seems like poor North was out late, which never fails to piss me off. I’m also bothered by the fact that North is wearing a toddler’s fur coat. Is this MINK? CB and I think it’s possibly mink, although I guess it’s also possible that this is just a really high-quality faux fur. I don’t really see why Kim would put North in faux fur considering the Kardashian-West clan is all about REAL fur. How excessive to get North a baby’s fur coat, something she’ll grow out of in a year. I mean, it’s bad enough to wear fur, but at least when you get a fur coat as an adult, you can wear it forever. This is a coat North will likely not even fit into next winter. As you can imagine, there’s already a backlash about the fur.

What else is going on with Kardashian Klan? Let’s see… you know that Kardashian Beauty event that Kim and Khloe attended two nights ago? Well, as it turns out, they only stayed there for five minutes. Seriously.

Kim and Khloé Kardashian mingled at a party for their hair care line, Kardashian Beauty, Monday for “five minutes of the two-hour-long event,” spies said. But before their brief encounter with guests at Academy Mansion on the Upper East Side, they posed for photos for a half hour.

“It was a human wall of people taking their picture,” said a spy. “They came out, someone asked for a selfie and it just turned into an iPhone shoot.”

Then they headed to a VIP area to hide before their next appearance.

[From Page Six]

Well, that’s not SO bad if they posed for fan photos for 30 minutes before spending all of five minutes at the actual event. Still, it’s pretty bad.

Been thinking a lot about Charlie Hunnam since seeing Fifty Shades Of Grey last night. And how much better it would have been with him in it. And, sh-t, how much more I would have wanted to see his come face in it. And whether or not, if he was in it, whether or not they would have made the decis…

Fifty Shades of Grey movie review

Feb 12, 2015 Author: | Filed under: Celebrities

Like I’ve been saying for weeks, I went in there hoping for the rubs, hoping to see a movie that would get me off. I think we all were – Cynthia Loyst, Jessica Allen, and I went together, with no expectations but with also with no hate. Rather, we were primed to be horny.
