Most of the Oscar defining moments I can think of that are not Oscar wins are fashion related. Nicole Kidman became a revelation in the green Dior. Michelle Williams made an announcement in the yellow Vera Wang.

Expectant parents, Life of Crime actress Isla Fisher and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, posed for pics at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Looking beautiful in a blue and white floral floor-length gown, the expectant mama, 39, got a baby bump kiss from Cake actress, Jennifer Aniston.

As well, the soon-to-be mom-of-three was seen chatting with fellow Hollywood mom, Big Eyes actress Amy Adams.

Fisher and Cohen, 43, expect their third child this spring. They are already parents to daughters Olive, 7, and Elula, 4.

A couple of friends individually told me this weekend that they thought the Oscars were lacking a certain excitement this year (they also told me collectively that it was too warm for the outfit I was wearing so what do they know). I wondered whether it was because there wasn’t a lot to be …      

Rashida Jones attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party in a printed Andrew Gn dress. Rashida’s style isn’t for everyone, but it’s really grown on me. The plunging neckline is a little more risque than we’re used to seeing from her. She’s styled this dress well with a sleek updo and opulent emerald earrings. This print is loud and brash, but I’m so ready for spring. Aren’t you?

Suki Waterhouse looked like she’d rather be anywhere else. Her gown is Burberry. If you look past the deep-v neckline, the dress is quite princessy with a full skirt and slight train. This dress is terribly wrinkled. Did she do that on purpose?

Jennifer Hudson looked perfect in this black Lorena Sarbu dress. I like it better than what she wore to the ceremony.

Michelle Monaghan wore a wine-colored, satin Monique Lhuillier gown that perfectly illustrates why cutouts are overdone this season.

Olivia Munn reportedly had quite the ordeal finding a dress for this party. She’s crazy about halter necklines lately, and this is some fug velvet madness.

My favorite Scientologist, Juliette Lewis, went heavy on the sheer theme in Stella Nolasco with yellow overlay and a mullet. Something nice: her hair looks fantastic.

Isla Fisher gets a pass for this flowery blue print because she’s pregnant. The print should’ve covered the entire dress instead of leaving a white stripe down the middle.

Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell both wore suits last night. His is more flattering than hers. Gotta match those blacks.

Kim Zolciak’s daughter just turned 18-years-old and she just got one awesome present for her birthday!

Every kid dreams that when they turn 18 they’ll get a car for their birthday, and that’s exactly what the reality tv star Kim Zolciak and her football star husband, Kroy Biermann, bought their daughter Brielle for her birthday. The lucky girl got a new Jeep Rubicon for her birthday and it looks awesome!

Even though Brielle doesn’t turn 18 until Wednesday,the excitement was just too much for Kim and she had to give her daughter her b-day gift just a tad bit early. Kim immediately went to Instagram to show the present off with the following caption:

“Happy Early 18th Birthday to our angel @briellebiermann this child has talked about a white jeep for many many years @kroybiermann gets mad props for all the “extras” he did to make her car so special! Although he is stressing the light bar and grill lights didn’t make it in time due to weather it will be alright baby #IGoHardForMomentsLikeThis #ICantBelieveMyBabyIsAlmost18.”

Now that is one lucky girl! Now, the big question is — how is Kim going to be able to top such an awesome gift for when her daughter hits the big 2-1?

Naomi Watts changed from her half awesome/half weird Armani beaded gown at the Oscars to this banging white Armani pantsuit for the VF Oscar party. She was there with her brother, Ben, the guy who is a taking her picture in the photo below. It’s a shame that Liev wasn’t there because look what he was missing. LOOK AT HER WALK AWAY like a boss. Sorry I yelled a little, she is just so damn pretty and fashionable.

Laura Dern was in a turquoise sequin Badgley Mischka gown and her date to the VF Oscar party was Wild author Cheryl Strayed. Turquoise is the color for American Lung Association’s Lung Force movement, which aims to raise awareness that lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of women. Cheryl Strayed’s mother, whom Dern played, died of lung cancer. On the red carpet at the Oscars, Dern also wore turquoise jewelry to honor the cause. A very good showing by Dern all around.

Faith Hill wore a red and black polka dot Dolce & Gabbana gown that was pretty fug. The dress had tiers of ruffles on the skirt and she looked over it. All she was missing were castanets on her fingers, maybe that would have cheered her up.

Another outfit that needed an accompanying mariachi band was Chloe Moretz’s black and red mess. The outfit featured a tiny floral pattern, bell sleeves, two layers of ruffles in the skirt, a mesh and velvet floral neckline and hem, and a wide black belt. So much going on at once. I do love her necklace, though.

Matthew McConaughey was on the only returning acting winner who did not walk the carpet at the Oscars last night. So I totally forgot about it. And was actually surprised to see him when he did come out to present Best Actress.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger always come out to the Vanity Fair Oscar party, even when Diane hasn’t been asked to present at the Oscars. I like that. I like that they’ve been together so long, they don’t care about being photographed together or any of that nonsense. Diane’s half-dress, half-jumpsuit is Donna Karan. I think this is so blah – we’ve seen much better party looks on Diane in past years.

Here’s Emma Stone’s party look – this is Altuzarra. I don’t like it.

Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo changed out of their matching Armani gear (the red dress) for the VF party. I hate to say it, but I kind of like the nude dress on Behati more than the red.

Monica Lewinsky came to the VF party. Apparently, she befriended Thandie Newton.

Mindy Kaling in Salvador Perez. YAY! I like that she came out to party. Her dress is rather basic, but it’s flattering on her.

Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara. Is it just me or do they have absolutely no chemistry with each other in photos? I would imagine that, in private, there’s a lot of heat and grunting. But in public? It looks like they sort of hate each other.

Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson came out for the VF party too. She looks nice. They look nice together.
