Emma Watson was shaken when she was recently besieged by students and other spectators at an American football match.
The 19-year-old actress was attending a match between a team from Brown and one from Harvard.
However, she had to be protected by security guards when she was plagued by fans.
"She looked quite shaken," the Telegraph quoted one onlooker, as saying.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star, who plays Hermione Granger in the hit wizard series, recently arrived at Brown University, Rhode Island.
The British actress, who grew up in Oxford shire and passed all her A-levels with straight A grades, is studying art and literature at the prestigious institution.

In her first major ad campaign, a very grown-up looking Emma was snapped in London by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Rumor on The Style Circuit predicts the prestigious contract with Burberry will boost the actress’ estimated $16 million fortune by six figures.

The 19-year-old college bound star was chosen because she exudes “a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge.”

“Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames,” Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry said in a press release Tuesday. “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign.”

Emma’s Burberry ads also features a number of stylish male models.

“I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys,” Bailey added.

British actress EMMA WATSON will continue her movie career when she starts university – she will film HARRY POTTER scenes during term time holidays.
The 20-year-old vowed to put acting on hold to concentrate on her degree, which she’ll begin later this year (09).

But the star will have to work through her Christmas and Easter breaks as she’s required on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final two-part film of the wizard franchise.
She tells Interview magazine, "We’re filming both the seventh and eighth movies at once, and I’m trying to do all of my scenes now and through the summer so I’ll be available for university come September – though it already looks like I’ll be working on Christmas and March breaks."
