A friend and business partner of the late Jade Goody has confirmed that a musical based on the reality TV star’s life is being created.
Danny Howard told ITN On last night that the production could be up and running in as little as four months time.
He said: “Various projects we’ve got in the pipeline is a musical we’ve got coming out in about four months time and its going to be the story of her life. We’re going to be on the search for who is going to play Jade. Obviously there is nobody else I’m sure in this world quite like Jade. Hopefully we’ll have a panel of not only creative experts but people that were close to Jade to be able to pick somebody that has to be able to dance to sing, because Jade could sing, she had a fabulous voice. And to act obviously, to play the part of Jade, and to have that kind of extra special kind of sparkle that she had.”
Earlier this month, Jade’s publicist Max Clifford revealed he had been in talks with several film companies about making a movie
based on Goody.
