Wearing high heels and a short black skirt, Jennifer Aniston was spotted on the set of her new film "The Bounty" in Brooklyn on Friday (July 17).

The former "Friends" actress looked her usual gorgeous self, filming a scene in which ran away from a taxi cab before enjoying a break in the action.

The day’s sighting comes after Jen’s co-star, Gerard Butler, laughed off the recent rumors claiming that the pair were involved in a budding romance.

“Listen, there’s nobody that’s been more subject to these rumors than her, so I think she’s just learned to…most of the time, you can blow it off,” he said.

As for working alongside Miss Aniston, Butler tells, “She’s like my best buddy. She’s so down-to-earth, so easy going. She’s incredibly self-deprecating and again, just alive! I’m having fun doing this! I’m lucky right now. Little boy from Scotland did good!”

Spending the weekend working on her latest role, Jennifer Aniston was all dressed up as she headed over to the set of "The Bounty" in New York City on Saturday (July 11).

And while the former "Friends" star seemed to be in high spirits, the tabloids would have you believe that she’s "devastated” after supposedly being dumped by Bradley Cooper.

"Jennifer was devastated when Bradley told reporters in Paris that she was ‘just a friend’ and denied they had any romantic involvement,” a source tells the National Enquirer. “It makes her look desperate – which is the one thing she dreads coming across more than anything else. She had no idea why Bradley would deny they went on a date – the only logical explanation she could come up with was that it was his way of trying to keep their romance private. But when she confronted him about it, he took the opportunity to let her down gently and say he only wanted to be friends."

“It was a huge embarrassment for Jennifer – now she feels used an upset – her confidence has taken yet another knock and she’s back at square one in terms of dating. Jen was so happy to be dating Bradley she saw him as a hot new guy who was finally a worthy replacement for John and Brad," the Enquirer’s "insider" added.

“The trouble is she falls too fast, too soon – and as gorgeous and charming as she is, it’s a bit of a turn off to guys like Bradley that she’s keen to settle down so quickly. Hopefully, she’ll dust herself off and find a guy who really appreciates her and treats her right, because she’s such a great catch for the right guy! And who knows – maybe Bradley will come to his senses and realize he’s let one amazing lady slip through his fingers.”

Continuing along with a full day of work, Jennifer Aniston was spotted filming scenes on the set of "The Bounty" in New York City on Monday (July 6).

After cruising around in handcuffs alongside co-star Gerard Butler, the former "Friends" star hopped out for a break in the action before running through another take.

As previously reported, Miss Aniston is also said to be getting rave reviews away from the set for her culinary skills – as friends are urging her to open up a restaurant of her own.

“Jennifer is really passionate about cooking. She recently had a new kitchen fitted and she loves it. She can cook anything from Mexican meals to Italian food to cakes. She does use cook books but mainly they are her own recipes,” a source told Female First. “Everyone says she should open her own restaurant and she said she would love to."

Jennifer Lopez opened Madres in California in 2002, but it closed down last summer.

"SexyBack" singer Justin Timberlake owns two New York eateries, Southern Hospitality, featuring food inspired by his Tennessee childhood, and upmarket Italian restaurant Destino. He also previously owned Chi, a dim sum bar in Hollywood.

Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, are among other stars who have also ventured into the restaurant business.

Jennifer Aniston has been sending perfumed notes to John Mayer.

The actress – who split from the singer in April – is reportedly struggling to get over her old flame and has good luck messages delivered to the ‘Gravity’ star’s dressing room before he performs.

A source said: “Jennifer sent John a hand-delivered perfumed note before one of his concerts recently.

“It read, ‘Play well, you always do’. It was sweet. Clearly she doesn’t want to let go completely.”

Friends of the 30-year-old singer claim Jennifer – who was recently romantically linked to her ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ co-star Bradley Cooper – has stayed in touch with John’s brother and a reunion could be possible.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “John hasn’t shown any interest in other women since the split, which is a break from the usual pattern.

“Who knows, this may not be the end of their romance. Neither seems very good at letting go.”

Jennifer – who since her divorce from Brad Pitt has dated several stars including Vince Vaughn and British model Paul Sculfor – recently poked fun at the “strange parallels” between her love life and movie titles.

She said: “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that I have a strange parallel with movies I was doing and my life off screen. First, it was ‘The Good Girl’…which evolved into ‘Rumor Has It’, followed by ‘Derailed’.

“Then there was ‘The Break-up’. Followed by the lighter side, ‘Friends with Money’. If anyone has a movie called ‘Everlasting Love With an Adult Stable Man’, that would be great!”

Word on the Daily Dish Circuit claims Jennifer Aniston is interested in rekindling her twice failed romance with crooner John Mayer.

Heat Magazine is reporting that the actress, who is currently filming the romantic comedy The Baster in New York City, has been telling pals that after a bit of nightly drunk dialing, she’s back in contact with her ex and the former couple are considering a reconciliation.

“[He] wasn’t calling her or texting her. But, as she got lonelier and the shoot wore on, she started reaching out to him, sometimes very late at night and sometimes after a few too many glasses of wine,” a friend, who asked not to be identified, tattled this week.

Of course, not all of Jen’s friends are eager for her to return to the “Clarity” hitmaker. Bestie Courteney Cox is said to be particularly unhappy over Jen’s unwillingness to give up on John.

“Courteney is the biggest objector to a John reunion,” according to the Heat insider. “They never got along and Courteney is someone who has always told Jennifer she’s just too good for John.”

“Jennifer’s friends do not like John Mayer. But Jen, as always, acts from the heart, and if she loses a couple of friends in the course of getting back together with John, then so be it.”

Hair-obsessed Jennifer Aniston refused to get her trademark locks cut for her new movie Management, so she had producers order her a specialized $13,000 wig instead.

“She wanted to look very different, but didn’t want to cut or dye her hair,” says an insider. “The color was very complimentary on her. She’s got wonderful warm skin. With that blond hair, she’s very known as Jennifer Aniston and I think sometimes that takes away from watching the story.”

The “Rumor Has It” hottie looked refreshed and ready for a new work week as she made her way inside the studio, later joined by costar Jason Bateman.

In related news, it seems Jen and her hairstylist of the last 15 years Chris McMillan are finally parting ways amicably, as she’s ready for a new look and he’s ready to take on more celebrity clients.

A source revealed, “Chris is instructing someone else on how to do Jen’s hair because he’s not on set of her new movie. Chris is focused on building his celebrity clientele and Jennifer wants to experiment with her look.”
