Stepping out to take care of the day’s errands, Jon Gosselin was spotted paying a visit to his eye doctor in Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania on Tuesday (October 20).

The reality star dad was in quite high spirits as he walked alongside following paparazzi, smiling in spite of his current legal predicaments with TLC.

Meanwhile, Jon is asking for guidance – with his attorney Mike Hiller by his side, the dad says he went to a “Values to Heal America” event on Sunday night and had questions for panelists Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, Nobel winner and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel, Newark, N.J. mayor Corey Booker and Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Gosselin asked into the microphone, “My question is, obviously I’m going through a divorce and it’s pretty public. What are two or three values can I use to raise good kids?”

Wiesel chimed in saying, “not to be a hypocrite. Children see hypocrisy and they don’t respect it.”

Oz also answered by saying, “kids don’t always do what their parents tell them to do, but they do what their parents do. [Don’t get] caught up in the Hollywood hype. This is your family, and you must are for them.”

Jon Gosselin must be enjoying the new single life, but the drama is stirring up!

Gosselin had recently been seen with Hailey Glassman, who gushed about their relationship, then was seen a week later with tabloid writer Kate Major, 26, who quit Star magazine so her love life would not conflict with her job.

But Gosselin is putting down his foot. The dad of eight says that reports of him and Major are all false reports, and he is not happy about it at all.

Reports say that Gosselin told a friend he has never been intimate with Major.  The 32-year-old said, “Oh my God, I can’t believe she did this to me. What do I do? She’s totally [expletive] me over!”

Major put out a statement on Wednesday making it very clear the two were an item.

“I didn’t mean it to happen, it just did,” she said. “I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him.”

The next day, after releasing the statement, she quit her job at Star due to conflict between her man and her career.

While all this was going on, Hailey Glassman had told People the day before that she and Gosselin are closer than ever and happy as a rebounding player and an alleged drug user and wild child could possibly be.

Glassman also said that her parents are happy for her. “They think of him as part of the family. They think things happen for a reason. This is perfect. It just fits.”

Hailey was unaware of the rumors of Gosselin and Major at the time, after the two were spotted on two dinner dates.

But Jon says that is not the facts.

One insider says that Jon said the dinner was only a business dinner and that Major was writing a story on him.

Friends and family of Major’s aren’t supporting the situation. Her father refused to comment, saying, “No comment. I don’t want to be involved in this whatsoever.” Another source says that she is using Gosselin to only get her moment in the camera.

“Kate always wanted to be a celebrity,” says the close friend. “Now she’s getting her 15 minutes.”

“She just wanted to put herself in the spotlight,” adds a publicist friend.

Making headlines with her new romance, Hailey Glassman opened up with People magazine about life as the new lady in Jon Gosselin’s life.

Talking about being together with a 32-year-old father of eight, Hailey says, "If you had told me a few months ago, I wouldn’t have believed you."

But things seem to be going quite well, as she tells of their relationship, "We’re always laughing and joking. We watch movies, play pool and ping pong. We laugh a lot because I beat him at everything."

Continuing to dish out the compliments, the 22-year-old adds, "He’s a great cook. He cooks roasted veggies with special seasoning and sauces, and he grills pineapple with a butter concoction."

And the best part of it all, her new man’s a hit with her parents. "They love him," Glassman tells. "They think of him as part of the family. They think things happen for a reason. The most important thing is if someone fits in with my family … This is perfect. It just fits."

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” dad looked casual as he smoked on cigarettes and texted the afternoon away.

Meanwhile, Jon also recently caused a bit of a stir when stepping out with a mystery blonde over the weekend – but quelled rumors by enjoying aon and Hailey a stroll through Harriman State Park with 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

According to insiders on the scene, Jon and Hailey proudly displayed their love, holding hands, hugging and kissing along the way.

Jon Gosselin stepped out in New York City on Saturday night with a new woman by his side.

The star of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8– who recently announced his separation from wife Kate- smiled for cameras as he and a new blonde friend – rumored to a be a reporter for Star Magazine – exited Accademia di Vino in Manhattan. Earlier in the day, Jon attended a photoshoot with his family, who spent the day in the city.

Just last weekend, Jon was photographed in St. Tropez with Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon that conducted Kate’s tummy tuck in 2006.

Jon Gosselin’s 22-year-old new girlfriend has at least one unsavory skelton in her closet – an arrest record.

Hailey was arrested for marijuana possession while she was a student at Indiana University in 2005.
Glassman and five fellow students were arrested after campus police spotted them hanging out in a parking lot “passing a pipe back and forth, which is consistent with marijuana” at approximately 3:18 AM on October 2, 2005, university police spokesperson Jerry Minger told Us Weekly on Monday.

Glassman was charged with possession of marijuana after police said they found two plastic baggies in her handbag. The charges were eventually dismissed against after she attended a pre-trial diversion program and agreed to pay a $326 fine.

Jon Gosselin, a 32-year-old father of eight, took his relationship with the younger woman public after the two were photographed holding hands just before a meeting with designer Christian Audigier in the South of France over the weekend.

Hailey is the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed a tummy tuck on Jon’s estranged wife, Kate, in 2006.
