She surprised everyone with her walk down the aisle, and Mandy Moore is on cloud nine now that she’s wife of new hubby Ryan Adams.
Attending the Latisse launch last night (March 26), the “A Walk to Remember” actress proudly opened up about married life.
“The best part about it is I get to hang out with my best friend every day,” she told OK! magazine. “I’m very happy, very lucky.”
Meanwhile, Miss Moore kept tight-lipped when it came to talking about honeymoon plans, saying, “I don’t know. I’m sort of shy about answering questions about it. I’m trying to keep as much for myself, but things are good right now. It’s nice to be home and relaxing and taking a bit of time off.”
Mandy Moore and rocker fiance Ryan Adams were only engaged for a month when they got married on March 10 in Savannah, Georgia. It was an intimate ceremony. Mandy’s rep has confirmed to PEOPLE:
The singer-actress, 24, and Adams, 34, applied for a marriage license on Tuesday afternoon at the Chatham County Probate office in Savannah, according to a court source, who adds that the famous couple went unrecognized.
We’ll see how long this celebrity marriage lasts.
Good-girl-pop-singer-turned- over when she played a hilariously overzealous Bible thumper in Saved, but now it’s her mom’s turn to win our vote. According to the National Enquirer, Mandy’s mother, Stacy Moore, has been dating tennis professional Claudette Laliberte since 2006, and they have recently moved in together.
When the tabloid asked Stacy about the relationship, she replied, “It’s nobody’s business why we’re together.” No denial there!
Perhaps Stacy’s just following in her daughter’s footsteps: Mandy dated tennis stud Andy Roddick for two years until they broke up in 2004. Now we’re just hoping that Mandy will follow Stacy’s lead…
