Adding another precious member to their loving family, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have been blessed with their second child.
McConaughey and Alves announced through their Web site the birth of daughter Vida Alves McConaughey – who was welcomed into the world at 12:13AM on Sunday (January 3), weighing in at 7 lbs. 7 oz.
Taking in the MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival on the Malibu pier, Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey brought their 9-month-old son Levi McConaughey to enjoy the festivities.
Even at his young age, the little guy revealed that he’s definitely his father’s son, sporting denim overalls, cowboy boot Uggs and a beanie.
At this rate, it shouldn’t be too much longer before the little guy turns into quite the ladies man, just like his well-mannered daddy.
I thought it was funny when Carrie told Matthew McConaughey she wanted to see his boots during her EOTY acceptance speech on Sunday, but apparently Carrie felt a little bad about it because she’s apologized for the comment.
Before giving Carrie her award, Matthew told a little story about how George Strait helped him and his brother get lucky. "We’re like, ‘Oh yeah. Say, as I a matter of fact, out in the parking lot, in the trunk of our white Corvette, we have the next year’s new edition white ostrich quill George Strait signed series that he’s gonna wear on tour next year.’ And they got pretty excited about that and said, ‘Well, can we see? Can we see? Can we see?’" McConaughey told the audience. "And we obliged … Point of the story is, we got lucky that night. Thank you, George."
Well after Carrie got her award she teasingly said, "I don’t know what to say. I got nothing’ … I want to see those boots, Matthew." Everyone in the audience laughed, but Carrie obviously embarrassed herself. Backstage she told FoxNews how bad she felt.
"I’m so embarrassed, I totally embarrassed myself. I just blanked," Underwood told Tarts backstage, burying her head in her hands. "You want to say something eloquent in a moment like that and I embarrassed myself. I’m sorry Matthew, I’m sorry to my family. I’m totally embarrassed."
Aww, Carrie, I thought it was cute to see you so flustered and I don’t think anyone thinks worse of you for telling a little dirty joke.
He’s definitely one of the hottest dads in Hollywood, and in a recent interview on the “Rachel Ray” show Matthew McCoanughey conveyed that he loves taking his 8-month-old son Levi with him wherever he goes.
The “Fool’s Gold” stud revealed on the Rachel Ray show, “Levi is doing well, man. Five stamps on the passport. Check this out, perfect tank of gas before he wakes up and is ready to eat. So as soon as it gets below a quarter of a tank and I gotta pull off to get gas, Levi’s waking up. So far so good. We’re having a good time – he’s an easy traveler.”
Matthew also dished on what he’d like to pursue as a career if he wasn’t an actor. “I think I’d either want to coach a college program, football. Or go off and do like what Steve Irwin did. Or be a chef.”
As for his cooking style, “A lot of times we’ll make a pasta, and we’ll make a salad, and we’ll make a meat dish. We end up putting pasta on the bottom because of the heat and layer in the salad and the meat on top. I love merging like that.”
Will someone please tell us this isn’t just on the borderline of being kooky?
Super-hunk Matthew McConaughey kept the placenta from the birth of his son last month. Yes, keep reading it only gets better.
He wants to, get this, plant it in an orchard. He dishes to CNN in an interview which aired on House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
You thought naked bongos was an interesting fact about this guy. You know what? We still love him!
