Proud nursing mama Alyssa Milano is “not okay” after an unfortunate incident overseas.
The Who’s The Boss? star, 42, was shocked when Heathrow Airport in London, England confiscated her bottles of breast milk while passing through security.
Just hours after Tweeting that pumping on a plane was “difficult,” the Mistresses actress — mom to daughter Elizabella, 7 months, and son Milo, 3½ — told fans about the upsetting chain of events.
“@HeathrowAirport just took my pumped breast milk away. 10 ounces. Gone. Not okay,” Milano Tweeted.

She went on to share a series of Tweets about the confiscation:
“They said they would let the pumped milk through if I had the baby with me. Why would I need to pump if I had the baby with me????”
“.@HeathrowAirport Why can you test my toiletries to make sure they are safe but you have to throw away my breast milk?”
“.@HeathrowAirport I was told I would be fine if the baby was with me. Plus, it was less than 5 ounces per container. Why is my shampoo okay?”
“.@HeathrowAirport I would have happily spread milk in different containers (which I travel with) to comply to those liquid rules. Instead, milk was taken away with no discussion. Shampoo, lotions, etcetera were simply tested and handed back with no issue. Makes no sense at all.”
Heathrow responded via Twitter, writing, “Hi Alyssa. Unfortunately, without a baby present, the government requires all liquids in carry-ons to follow the 100ml rule.”
The actress has been an outspoken advocate for nursing moms. Last month, Alyssa shared a breastfeeding photo while at work with her baby girl.
And that isn’t the first time we’ve seen a pro-breastfeeding image from the mom-of-two. In February, the actress shared a breastfeeding selfie with her sweet tot.
Also, she shared a nursing photo in November, and a breastfeeding selfie in October.
