Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter at the EE British Academy Film Awards at Grosvenor Hotel in London

The Imitation Game actor Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancée Sophie Hunter bumped up the red carpet at the EE BAFTA British Academy Film Awards in London, England on Sunday (February 8).

The parents-to-be opted for a matching black look, with The Hobbit star, 38, in an Alexander McQueen tuxedo and the singer-actress, 36, donning a floor length black halterneck dress with bow back by Maison Margiela. The mom-to-be competed her look with stand out diamond earrings.

The couple’s pregnancy news was announced in early January.

“I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child,” his rep said in a statement. “They are both over the moon.”

The happy news came just two months after the Sherlock Holmes star announced the couple’s engagement.
