Now this is surprising!

Gordon Ramsay is known for having quite the potty mouth, but his kids don’t follow in their father’s footsteps. In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ramsay tells Kimmel that he definitely doesn’t want his kids to follow in his footsteps:

“They don’t curse,” the 48-year-old told Kimmel.

“How is that possible…is that their way of rebelling?” Kimmel joked.

“I said, Look, cursing is not smart, it’s an industry language and sometimes Daddy lets it slip…20 times a day, so I came up with some really nice, sort of alternatives to curse words. So rather than saying the word ‘s–t,’ which, you know, is not nice…’Shitake’! Like the mushroom. It’s not nice saying the word ‘f–k,’ so we say the word ‘fructose.’ ‘Ass?’ ‘Asparagus!’”
