Mad Men star January Jones stepped out with son Xander, 3, in Los Angeles, Calif. on Tuesday (May 19). Sporting matching shades, the single mom, 37, and her adorable preschooler were spotted on a Starbucks run.
After eight successful seasons, January’s hit show Mad Men had its series finale this past Sunday.
The actress dished on Betty Draper’s evolution over the years.
“I think that she went from being very implosive — always burying her emotions and all about the façade of who she is and what the American family is — to someone who’s been through so much emotionally,” she said of her Mad Men character.
And on late Sunday night, January took to her Instagram to ask fans not to remember Betty as a tragic figure. The actress posted a photo of Betty, in her nightgown, cigarette in mouth, shooting at pigeons — one of the most memorable images from the first season of the show.
“Please remember her like this. Strong. Proud. And afraid. She is everything I wish I could be,” January captioned the image.
