Congratulations are in order for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Kate Middleton, 33, and Prince William, 32, welcomed their second child – a daughter – on May 2, Kensington Palace announces.

The baby girl – whose name has yet to be announced – was born at 8: 34 a.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital at the private Lindo Wing in London, England. She weighed in at 8 lbs., 3oz.

The happy news was announced in a statement by Kensington Palace in a series of Tweets.

The royal couple – who were reportedly due to welcome their second child in late April – are also parents to 21-month-old son Prince George.

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess! We can’t wait to hear the baby’s name!

HRH The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00hrs to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour.
