Because Fox News exists in its own little echo chamber and tailors itself to Donald Trump’s thoughts and dreams and conspiracies, they tend to do weird sh-t like “a live morning show interview with a drunk Kid Rock.” Fox & Friends’ Steve Doocy somehow got the all-important live interview with a drunk Kid Rock on Friday morning. At some point, Kid Rock was trying to talk about how everyone is entitled to their political opinions, then he called Joy Behar (co-host of The View) a “bitch.”

WOW — Kid Rock says “screw that Joy Behar bitch,” prompting @SteveDoocy to repeatedly apologize on his behalf. (The crowd cheered Kid Rock’s remark.) pic.twitter.com/R4J4CDW1Du

Even Steve Doocy was like “whoa there” and he apologized for Kid Rock’s words live. So, this could have been just a stupid story about Kid Rock being thin-skinned when a woman criticized him (and Behar criticized him more than a year ago, mind you). But then something beautiful happened: the city of Nashville fired Kid Rock. Kid Rock was supposed to be the Grand Marshall of their Christmas parade. And they fired him and hired James Shaw Jr, the “Waffle House Hero” who disarmed a gunman at a Tennessee Waffle House in April. He should have been the Grand Marshall from the beginning! But now Kid Rock is super-mad about it, and he issued a statement:

Behar has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and when Myself, Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent visited The White House last year, Behar called it “the saddest day in in the history of the White House since the British burned it to the ground in 1814.”

Today I said “Screw that Joy Behar bitch”

Mess with the bull, you get the horns. End of story.

I apologized for cursing on live tv, I will not for my sentiment nor do I expect an apology from her or anyone else who has choice words for me or doesn’t like me.

God Bless America.

“Mess with the bull, you get the horns” because Joy Behar thought it was trashy for Kid Rock, Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin to pose with Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Kid Rock stays toxic, misogynistic, thin-skinned and petty, just like his idol, Donald Trump. I’m glad Nashville was like “nope” and they fired him. It’s a nice Christmas story, and I hope James Shaw Jr. enjoys marshalling the Christmas Parade!
