The Hills alum Kristin Cavallari and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, open up their Nashville home for ELLE.com. The expectant mama chats about her upcoming book Balancing in Heels, family life with sons Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 1, and their baby on-the-way.

On moving away from L.A.: “I sort of have stepped out of the public eye and it’s actually been really refreshing. I was a little nervous at first, to be honest, just because I didn’t…It’s sort of always been ingrained in me that if you want to be in the entertainment business, you either have to be in L.A. or New York.”

On moving to Chicago: “When I married Jay, I officially moved to Chicago. I was a little scared. I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do with my career, but everything has sort of fallen into place with the shoes, especially, the jewelry, and now this book.”

On life in Nashville: “Cam is so happy that he’s here,” she says, and adds Nashville is the place they will call home full-time “if all goes according to plan. Jay hates Los Angeles. And Chicago’s just not home.”
