lisa hochstein is pregnant

The Real Housewives of Miami star has been known to struggle with fertility issues, but she’s not letting that get in her way. Instead, she’s officially going to be a mommy – via surrogacy.

Lisa Hochstein revealed to US Weekly that her and her husband Lenny Hochstein are expecting via surrogate and they couldn’t be more excited:

“It did not feel real, almost unbelievable! Although I was beyond excited and overjoyed, we did not want to get our hopes up too high until we passed the first trimester.”

Lisa has had three miscarriages in the past and four failed IVF attempts. Fans of The Real Housewives of Miami know that Lisa has had quite the struggle when it comes to getting pregnant. Lisa goes on to explain that surrogacy was practically their last resort:

“We felt that we tried almost every option available to us except surrogacy. Adoption was a consideration if this didn’t work.”
