This is a photo of Mariah Carey arriving in Italy – via a private plane, I’m assuming – a few days ago. She captioned the photo “Ciao Italia!!! #yay #vacation #italy.” I would have posted some of the photos of Mimi and her kids in Capri but unfortunately Mimi’s crazy cleavage was out so you’ll just have to go look for yourself.

You might wonder to yourself, “Hey, is it just Mariah, Morroccan and Monroe on vacation?” You would be right to wonder. Because Mariah has a new boyfriend, apparently. Mariah and her kids are staying on a yacht belonging to James Packer. He’s a billionaire, an Aussie, and it was a pretty steady rumor that he was “dating” Miranda Kerr for a while (Packer even got into a messy brawl with another dude and it was sort of related to how Packer might have left his wife for Miranda). TMZ got a photo of Packer and Mariah together on Friday in Capri, and TMZ reports:

Mariah Carey has got a new boyfriend, TMZ has learned, a billionaire who’s the 4th wealthiest person down under. The guy is James Packer, a 47-year-old entertainment mogul who sold a media company and now owns a string of hotels and casinos around Australia and other countries. He’s worth an estimated $4.6 billion, according to Forbes.

They’re staying on Packer’s yacht and we’re told they’ll be on the boat for “an extended vacation.” After Capri, it’s on to Cannes and St. Tropez.

As for how they met … Brett Ratner. Sources close to Mariah tell us James has been aggressively pursuing Mariah for months, and he succeeded.

Do you believe that Packer aggressively pursued Mariah… and she said no to him for months? I do not. Mariah is a diva, for sure, and she has some issues, but Mariah knows that when a billionaire is interested in your gin-soaked ass, you better pick up the phone and arrange the date. So… I guess Packer is no longer with Miranda. I wonder what happened there.
