Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are the most powerful couple in music. It’s official! Forbes says so. Forbes released their annual list of the highest-paid celebrity couple in music and you’ve got to believe that Forbes’ editors had their fingers crossed to ensure that their list came out before Calvin Harris dumped Swifty (because you know that’s what will happen). So, yes, according to Forbes, Swifty and Harris are making more money than Beyonce and Jay-Z. But not by that much – Forbes’ says Swifty and Harris’s combined incomes for the past year comes to $146 million, whereas Bey and Jay’s combined income is $110.5 million for the past year. What’s $35 million between friends?

You can read Forbes’ report here. What’s surprising to me (a little bit) is that Taylor’s endorsement deals are so lucrative. She has sponsorship deals with Diet Coke, Keds and Sony. I’ve got to believe that if Jay and Bey weren’t sidelined by some bad business decisions – Tidal and whatever they’re doing with that vegan food thing – they could have been on top. Oh, and #3 on Forbes’ list are Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Meanwhile, there was a rumor that Swifty might get one of the biggest gigs in music: the Super-Bowl Halftime show for the 2016 Super-Bowl. Sources told Radar that the NFL had already approached her about it and “it’s hers to refuse” but “her main holdup is performing the year after Katy Perry did it, but she also feels it’s the right way to close out the ‘1989′ chapter of her career.” Except that as we just said, she has a sponsorship deal with Diet Coke and the Halftime show is sponsored by Diet Pepsi. So… yeah, it’s not happening. Plus, I’m pretty sure that the NFL doesn’t decide about the Halftime act until autumn.

Here are some photos of Swifty performing in Hyde Park over the weekend. Props to her for delivering for her fans and everything, but I still don’t understand her insistence on high-waisted booty shorts and crop tops. It’s a really bad look for her, by which I mean that she has a perfectly lovely figure and these ensembles make her look like a praying mantis.
