Tom Holland has a couple of dramatic films coming out during the pandemic. The Devil All the Time got decent critical response, but I can barely watch anything that isn’t a comedy these days, so I passed. His latest is the Russo Brothers film, Cherry, that deals with wartime PTSD and addiction. It comes out next month. Tom dropped 28 pounds for the role, so I guess he’s hoping for some award consideration. As is a part of most complicated humans lives, in addition to his struggles and bad decisions, Tom’s character is falling in love for the first time. When last we left Tom’s real love-life, he was golfing with actress Nadia Parkes, to whom he’d been introduced by Sophie Turner. In August, the pair were supposedly shacking up together in quarantinial bliss. But going by his interview with Zuri Hall on Access Hollywood, Tom may still be waiting for The One.
On if he’s ready to settle down
Of course I would do. I love romance and I look back at the times when I was in love and they’re the happiest of my life. I’m in no rush, I am 24. But if it happens it happens.
On the biggest way Spider-Man changed his life
I’ve been very lucky that being Spider-Man has allowed me to be on this platform in which I can help people. I run a charity with my family called The Brothers’ Trust and we’re always trying to figure out new and exciting ways to not only entertain people but raise money for people that really need it. The biggest thing that Spider-Man has done for my life is it’s given me the opportunity to help others.

I know I am on the record as a Tom fan, but that’s a great response to the settling down question. I don’t think anyone should ever be in a rush, but definitely not someone in their early 20s. I love that he’s able to say he’s perfectly content being single without disrespecting any relationship he’s already had. I wish I could come up with answers that smooth off the cuff. (The old stodgy in me thinks how many times could a 24-year-old have been in love?) His Spider-Man answer is pretty conscientious too. I’d probably have answered in relation to my career, but Tom spoke about how it helped position him globally and that’s nice. It’s also not surprising, given his father’s career and Tom’s exposure to the industry. Still, it’s nice to hear a young man come across so grounded.
The other story about Tom going around right now is that he’s doing all these interviews pantsless. Tom’s not only talking about it, he’s showing off his “teenage” legs while on air. Tom is, of course, currently in Atlanta filming the third Spider-Man movie with his buddies Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Tuesday, the night before the Movie’s official name was released, the punks got on Instagram and began trolling their fans by “revealing” the film’s name:

Alas, Home Slice should have been real, but it’s not. The actual Spider-Man 3 name was revealed yesterday:
