Wow, that was fast! Not the pregnancy, but the birth. Duchess Kate checked into the hospital “under cover of darkness” early this morning, and BAM, the United Kingdom now has a new…
PRINCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to the @Kensington Royal Twitter (Kate and William’s official Twitter), Kate delivered her baby girl at 8:34 am. Mother and child are doing well. Kate was generally believed to be more than a week overdue – her due date was alleged April 25-ish. But she gave birth to a May Baby. Here’s more from the KP Twitter:

Congrats to William and Kate. They must be so relieved. And we know Prince Charles wanted a princess granddaughter too. I’m assuming Kate will stay overnight at the hospital and we’ll get the big debut tomorrow. I don’t know when we’ll learn the name, hopefully today or tomorrow. Some people are still saying Alice or Elizabeth or Diana or Charlotte or Victoria. Could be.
