Getting ready for their first knockout round match, Cristiano Ronaldo was busy practicing with his Portugal teammates in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday .
Considered by many to be the world’s best player, Ronaldo joked around between intense sessions as his team readies to take on Spain on Tuesday (June 29).
Obviously a concern for his counterparts, Spanish player Capdevila told press, "The best way to stop him is to be assisted by my teammates."
"He is one of the best in the world. He is very nimble, very fast," Capdevila added. "He has a lot of freedom on the pitch. And I think he is going to move around all the attacking positions. So we have to be very alert to his movement."
Meanwhile, Spain’s coach, Vicente del Bosque, told press, "We shouldn’t be obsessed with Cristiano Ronaldo. The most important thing is to focus attention on Portugal as a team. They’ve shown defensively and offensively that they are a very competent squad."
