It was a night filled with glitz and glamour as the Metropolitan Opera held it’s Opening Night Gala at Lincoln Center Plaza.  And stars lhelena-christensenike  Molly Sims, and Christie Brinkley were looking their best.

Celebrating the Opera’s 2008-09 season, “Gossip Girl” hottie Taylor Momsen was the belle of the ball, sporting a gorgeous red strapless multi-tiered floor-length gown.

And Christie Brinkley was turning plenty of heads herself in her strapless black flaired-out dress, complete with matching black gloves and a red satin clutch.

Meanwhile,Molli Sims kept things neat and tidy in a figure-flattering white full-length dress as she posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet.

Other big names in attendance included models Hana Soukupova and Helena Christensen and actress Julianna Margulies.
