Maybe I don’t fully understand “the plan” for Brad Pitt’s team. I get that Team Pitt has done the most to smear Angelina Jolie as an alienating parent who had the audacity to leave Brad when he was drunkenly abused Maddox. But what is the longer term plan for Team Pitt? I honestly don’t know, but I’m wary of their current strategy of running to People Magazine, Page Six, The Blast and Us Weekly with various updates of how Brad saw some of his kids and he’s still being monitored. It’s weird, right? Like, do we still need updates on that? Isn’t Team Pitt just reminding people that after more than two years, Brad still isn’t allowed to be alone with his kids? Well, anyway, after Christmas, both People Magazine and Us Weekly got the confirmation that Brad spent some time with some of his kids on Christmas Day. Both outlets used the word “low-key” so that’s Team Pitt’s new strategy somehow.

Brad Pitt had a very merry Christmas: The 55-year-old spent the holiday with some of his children after reaching a new custody agreement with estranged wife Angelina Jolie.

“Brad exchanged Christmas gifts with the kids on December 25 at his house,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “[He] has never spoiled the kids for their birthdays or holidays. It wasn’t over the top but low-key.”

The source says the War Machine star was “extremely happy” to have his brood spend the night but notes that some of the couple’s six children weren’t present: “Maddox refused to go, and Pax didn’t go either.”

The sleepover was also supervised, the source adds, with a monitor sleeping in a guest room. The following day, Jolie, 43, was photographed in Los Angeles with four the of the children: Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10. Pitt also hosted some of his kids for a monitored overnight on December 17, a day before his birthday. As with the Christmas sleepover, Maddox, 17, opted out of the get-together.

So Brad’s “less than 50% custody” arrangement is looking more like he gets one overnight visit with the four youngest kids once a week. That’s A LOT less than 50%. I’m also uncomfortable with this: “Maddox refused to go, and Pax didn’t go either.” It’s like… if this really did come from Team Pitt (which I believe it “low-key” did), then it feels like Brad is blaming Pax and Maddox for not wanting to see him. Dude, they have a really good reason for not wanting to see you. As for this: “He has never spoiled the kids for their birthdays or holidays…” That was never an issue, was it? No one ever argued that Brad or Angelina completely spoiled the kids. Despite what the “haters” have claimed, the Jolie-Pitt kids always seem pretty well-adjusted and normal for celeb-kids.

Just before Christmas, an old video went viral because I guess people still had some doubts about whether Louis CK should be canceled. You should have canceled him more than a year ago! But if you hadn’t canceled him already, I would hope that hearing him gleefully say the n-word in a roundtable discussion with Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and Jerry Seinfeld would be the final straw. And out of that group, SEINFELD was the one who was uncomfortable with the n-word being tossed around by white comedians. You can see the video here.

Well, I guess *some* people still had questions about Louis CK’s cancellation. You know how Louis CK has been doing sudden, unannounced appearances at comedy clubs throughout 2018? Well, someone recorded a few minutes of one of his sets. It’s awful. He “punches down” on Parkland survivors and non-binary kids. This audio is NSFW and even beyond that, it’s horrible.

I mean… cancel him already. It feels good to simply stop giving a sh-t about trash people and their garbage words, thoughts and comebacks. It might hurt to realize that Louis CK was never some woke comedian or truth-teller, but hey, we’re all wrong about some things sometimes. Louis CK has been over for a while. Now we just need people to understand that and stop allowing him a opportunities to “come back.” Terrible white dudes don’t get endless opportunities to come back. Enough.

Top Baby Names of 2018 According to Nameberry

There was a lot of name calling in 2018. Well, in the baby name category that is. Nameberry has released the one hundred most popular baby names of the year and you might be surprised that two of the names are no stranger to the number one slot.

Atticus came in first for boy names for the second year in a row while Olivia is the reigning winner for the third year.

This year three new names made the top ten. Finn on the boy’s list and two names on the girl’s list, Genevieve and Rose. It seems that people are going back to the classic names when naming girls.

One thing that’s always been said about the Duchess of Cambridge is that she’s very competitive. She was competitive when she was in school, and involved in sports, and we’ve seen her competitive streak come out whenever she and William are doing an event where they have to do anything sporty too. Kate’s reportedly like that about any sort of games, even a friendly card game or Scrabble. I would argue that her competitive side has flourished over the past year, with Meghan on the scene too. But I wonder… is Meghan competitive about games and sports? Or is she the kind of person who loses on purpose when she sees how much it means to her competition? I don’t know. But The Sun claims that Meghan and Kate played a lot of board games over the holidays:

Feuding royals Kate and Meghan patched up their differences over a festive game of Scrabble. The sisters-in-law happily played board games on Christmas Day. At one point the pair even teamed-up during traditional quiz games at the Queen’s Sandringham retreat.

An insider said: “If German and British troops could put their differences to one side to play football during World War One, the feeling was Kate and Meghan could follow suit for Scrabble. After watching the Queen’s speech, the board games were brought out and both women got stuck in. Pregnant Meghan wasn’t drinking but Kate had a glass of wine or two, and everyone was in great spirits. They were chuckling along together. You wouldn’t know there was any tension between the two. It was a wonderful day and night.”

I loathe Scrabble. I’ve never liked it. But put Trivial Pursuit in front of me, and I can play for hours. I bet Meghan is good at Trivial Pursuit! I bet she’s good at Pictionary and Charades too. But Scrabble? Blah. And I wonder how they teamed up? Were they a good team? Or will we hear at some point that Meghan couldn’t figure out Kate’s charade and then Meghan “made” Kate cry?

I didn’t pay any attention to the Samantha Grant (Markle) headlines all over the place around Christmas. Dealing with all of the drama and smears from the royal family, royal courtiers and her own father is bad enough for the Duchess of Sussex, and I hope she truly DGAF about Samantha. Samantha is a deranged famewhore. She’s like a MAGA Deplorable on Twitter who gets muted and just continues to scream and wail about everything. Well, Samantha was still trying to get headlines over the holidays, sending out faux Christmas messages to Meghan and ordering Meghan to speak to Thomas or whatever. But now it seems that Meghan’s security is taking Samantha seriously. Or should I say, they’re taking the threat Samantha poses seriously.

The Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister Samantha Markle has reportedly been placed on a ‘fixated persons’ list over the risks she poses of embarrassing the Royal family. Samantha, 53, who lives in Florida, has made a string of public snipes at Meghan since she was not invited to the Royal Wedding earlier this year. The Duchess’s protection officers are understood to have briefed Scotland Yard detectives over the the damage Samantha could cause to the Royal family’s reputation.

Earlier this month, Samantha sent a Christmas card to Meghan telling her the ‘time was now’ to ‘end the rift’ with her estranged father Thomas. In a picture of the card published by the Sunday Mirror, Samantha wrote: ‘Dad has been trying to contact you and is very hurt because you are avoiding him.’

Scotland Yard’s Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) is a police unit which works with the NHS to identify risks posed by ‘lone individuals’ who stalk or harass public figures. On FTAC’s website, it states that it ‘helps such people get the care they need and, by doing so, decreases any risk they might pose, not just to prominent people, but to the individuals’ families and to those around them.’

A Scotland Yard source told The Sunday Times: ‘Someone like Samantha presents a risk rather than a threat. She is not committing criminal offences, but she is causing concerns for the royal family. There is big potential for some major embarrassment for the royals. Samantha could make a scene and create headlines with her actions — and let’s face it she’s kind of already done that.’

A source told The Sunday Times that FTAC would have been informed by the Duchess about Samantha’s ‘pattern of unwanted and persistent behaviour’. Taking to Twitter, Samantha responded: ‘This is ridiculous as I’m in an electric wheelchair and I live on a different continent LOL and advocating for doing the right thing by our dad is hardly fixation’.

I think “fixated person” and “risk” are good descriptors for Samantha. She’s not actually threatening Meghan with physical harm, as far as I know, but she’s clearly mentally unwell, and she’s clearly fixated and damaged, and intent on saying anything about Meghan. Samantha is publicly harassing Meghan – Meghan has ignored her more than two solid years, and Samantha has just continued to wage her abusive campaign, with a lot of help from the British media. So… what happens now? Probably not much. Scotland Yard has just designated her a stalker/harasser, so if Samantha ever tries to come into the UK again, I bet detectives will do something. But other than that…?

Taylor Swift was pretty quiet this year, and she seems to be exiting the year in relative silence too. I still don’t know how I feel about this whole “Taylor will no longer speak on behalf of Taylor” thing. With Beyonce, it works, because Beyonce has mastered the art of communicating through the visual, whereas Taylor has… not mastered that yet. Taylor NEEDS to explain. She needs to talk and communicate verbally. I hope this whole thing was just a phase and for her next album or Tay-incarnation, she goes back to giving interviews and actually interacting with people openly. Anyway, she posted these cute photos with one of her kitties for Christmas. Her PR is also still hyping The Privacy of JoeTay.

Taylor Swift is the happiest she’s ever been with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, a source reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They’re very low-key and normal. They work out, watch movies together and have friends over,” the source explains.

While Swift, 29, and Alwyn, 27, who were first publicly linked in May 2017, are definitely homebodies, the source says that when the pair spend time in London, they love to check out the the local pubs. “She’s much happier without her personal life out in the open,” the source adds. “She credits Joe for that and realizes how much better off she is.”

I’m stuck between two thoughts. Thought #1: See, giant celebrities CAN be private and low-key if they really want to be, versus Thought #2: I honestly don’t believe that Taylor is slipping down to Joe’s local pub in London all the time and NO ONE has ever noticed or seen her or taken a photo. I’m not saying that Taylor hasn’t spent some quiet time with Joe in London. I’m absolutely positive that she has. I just think that whenever she’s in London, she’s probably just hanging out at his place and not going out, or when she does go out, it involves several discreet security guys, multiple wigs and and several costume changes in case anyone sees her.

Also: I don’t know about London, but JoeTay were pap’d all over New York this weekend! Much privacy.

The home life of Jessica Simpson is about to get a lot more hectic. The fashion designer who is due to give birth to her third child surprised her two eldest children Maxwell, 6, and Ace, 5, with adorable matching Shih Tzu puppies for Christmas. Maybe this is the 38-year-old mama to be tactic of giving her daughter and son a baby of their own to take care of? Well, a fur baby at least…

The Dukes of Hazzard actress wrote on Instagram on Christmas Day, “Santa’s Nice List! Merry Christmas.” She shared with fans a picture of her two kiddos each holding their brand new puppy. Maxwell and Ace were wearing coordinating Christmas pajamas while grinning ear to ear from sheer joy of their very special delivery from Santa.

With two new puppies and a new member about to join the family, there seems to be a lot of changes happening for Simpson and her hubby Eric Johnson. The “Take My Breath Away” singer also revealed that her son Ace got a new haircut over the Christmas holiday and the pregnant mama is having a hard time with his new do.

Jessica Simpson showed off her son’s new cut on Instagram. Ace went from long hair to short in minutes and the entrepreneur admitted it “broke my heart.”

John David Duggar got married not long ago to his wife Abbie Duggar. Now the rumors are flying that these two are expecting a child. One obvious reason is the fact that they are Duggars who recently got married to each other.

The thing that got everyone talking was John David Duggar’s new Instagram post. It was not a pregnancy announcement at all, though. Instead, it was a nice post about the couple that got everyone talking. This post had a Bible scripture in it about a child.

As you can see this post from John David Duggar talks about a child being born. The scripture says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” It is from Isaiah 9:6.

So many people thought this meant they were expecting, but it simply seems to be a verse from the Bible about Christmas. This couple would more than likely do a big announcement if they had a baby on the way.

The other speculation was caused by the fact that John David Duggar had his arm around her waist. People seemed to think that he was trying to cover something up. It really does look like a newly married couple just sitting close to each other and cuddled up. It could be covering a bump, but it isn’t an obvious cover-up like they do on television shows sometimes.

John David Dugger and his wife Abbie seem like a very happy couple. They didn’t court for very long before deciding to get married. Hopefully, they have news very soon that they are expecting a baby, but so far, they haven’t revealed anything like that to the fans. It would be great to hear that his sister Jana Duggar is courting as well, but that hasn’t happened yet either.
