Pregnancy has been anything but funny for comedian Amy Schumer, 37. The funny girl has been experiencing extreme morning sickness throughout her whole pregnancy. If Schumer’s Christmas wish was to be symptom-free for one day Santa didn’t deliver.

The I Feel Pretty Star is expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer and on Tuesday the actress shared an up close and real reality of pregnancy providing a slideshow with her Instagram followers.

In a video, Schumer is seen pulled off the side of the road vomiting violently revealing she had also thrown up some blood. She and her hubby both wished the person behind the camera a Merry Christmas.

Schumer also shared a picture where you see her lying on the floor surrounded by her furry friends that were offering emotional support for the mama-to-be.

“And so this is Christmas,” Schumer wrote alongside the Christmas slideshow.

But leave it Schumer to muster up some humor during her not so great holiday. The Trainwreck star provided another video of herself cuddling with her pup on the couch while Missy Elliott’s “Work It,” played in the background.

Amy Schumer has had a tough go with her first pregnancy in which she has referred to as, “tough.”

The star was hospitalized in November for hyperemesis gravidarum, the same condition that Duchess Kate was diagnosed with all three of her pregnancies. The acute morning sickness has made Schumer’s pregnancy anything but blissful. After she was released from the hospital in November Schumer went back on the road for her standup tour. In December Schumer shared a picture with her social media hooked up to an IV.

But leave it to Schumer to overshare her pregnancy mishaps. In November the comedian had to cancel a couple of shows of her tour and apologized to her fans with a video of her vomiting.

Then in December Schumer shared another video of herself hugging the porcelain bowl while saying, “I thought it might be fun to see me throwing up in a public bathroom.”
