Gigi Hadid covers the holiday issue of W Magazine, and I was struggling to figure out who she reminds me of in this shoot. W Mag aimed to style her like “Debbie Harry, circa 1975.” But I feel like the reality of it is different – never before have I seen some “early Kate Moss” in Gigi, but here we are. I guess I never realized how she really can do the chameleon thing. Anyway, you can read Gigi’s cover profile here, and here are some highlights:

Whether she would ever want to be invisible: “Something that I think about a lot is that I kind of took anonymity for granted. When I first moved to New York, I loved walking down the street. Now when I do that, I wish I could be invisible. Sometimes, I think about wearing wigs, but I don’t want to be seen in a pink wig and for people to be like, Oh, my God, she’s going insane! So I stay in my house.

The posters she had on her walls when she was growing up: “I was a rider, so I loved Olympic horses. I had horses on my wall. When I was a kid, I listened to Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, and Andrea Bocelli, but I don’t think I had posters of them. I did have a Kobe Bryant poster. And I think I had a Kobe trash can, too.” Years later, at a Taylor Swift show in L.A., Gigi finally saw Kobe in person. “Taylor was like, ‘Go over. Say hi,’?” Gigi recalled. “And I couldn’t. Kobe Bryant is one of the only people who make me starstruck.”

Her favorite holiday memory? “Being in the kitchen cooking with my family. We all like to prepare a different dish, and I always do a crazy dessert buffet where I make trains out of candy and little snowman cupcakes”

She likes cooking & baking: “I like both. My favorite thing with cooking is to always try to make something new. I will ask my boyfriend Zayn Malik, “What do you want today?” and I’m pretty good at pulling it off. On my days off, cooking is something that keeps my mind going without having to think of too many serious things.

Whether she has any irrational fears: “I’m cool with spiders and heights and clowns. But I don’t like getting out of the shower and for the toilet seat to be open. I’m like, I have water on me, and the toilet has water in it, and I just won’t shower with the toilet open. I guarantee now you’re going to look at the toilet and it’s going to make you feel weird if it’s open while you shower.

The criminal mind: “At the movies or on TV, I can always figure out the murderer. I studied criminal psychology in school, and people know that all my favorite TV shows are that kind of psychological puzzle, usually involving a murder.

I’m obsessed with her weird fear. I’m also okay with spiders – I don’t like snakes that much though – and I think clowns are creepy, but I’m not afraid of them. I don’t care for extreme heights but again, that’s not much a fear as much as I just get a bit nauseous when I’m in a tall building, or when I’m flying. But the open toilet?? That truly is an irrational fear. Hm… Fine, I’ll tell you my own little quirk about toilets: I can’t stand when someone puts the lid down at night, like before you go to sleep. But again, it’s not a fear, it’s just a quirk – I sometimes have to pee during the night and I don’t like to turn on the lights. Thus, the lid needs to be up.

Before this year, I didn’t know that Vincent Cassel was dating a very young model. Cassel and Monica Bellucci split (and divorced) several years ago, and from what little I’ve heard about them post-divorce, there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of drama. They have two daughters together, Deva (14) and Léonie (8). After Vincent and Monica split, he began dating a 19 or 20-year-old model named Tina Kunakey. They ended up marrying in a somewhat low-key ceremony in France back in August. At the time, he was 51 and she was 21. And now…she’s pregnant.

Vincent Cassel, 52, is ‘expecting his first child with wife Tina Kunakey, 21,’ four months on from their idyllic French wedding. The Black Swan actor and the model are preparing to welcome a new arrival in 2019 after tying the knot in south-west France in August following a two-year relationship, Just Jared reports.

The happy news has come to light after Tina debuted her baby bump when the couple were pictured in Orly, France, on Monday, ahead of the festive period.

Quelle surprise. I’ve always found Cassel to be extremely attractive and sexy, so I can completely understand how a lady will end up pregnant around him. But I just look at this young woman and think, “Why are you tying yourself to a 51-year-old man right now?” And I look at Vincent and think “no fool like an old fool.” And now there’s a baby coming. Ugh.
