As many suspected, Prince Harry does plan to make a brief stop in England before the Invictus Games. Part of me wonders if Buckingham Palace was informed of Harry’s plans weeks ago, and that was the reason for the Windsors’ chaotic messaging as they tried to impose themselves on Harry. The reason for Harry’s visit is the same reason why he was in the UK when his grandmother died last year: he plans to make an in-person appearance at the WellChild Awards. What outrageous stunt will the Windsors unveil in an attempt to pull focus from Harry visiting one of his patronages?
Prince Harry is returning to the U.K. next month for a special event close to his heart. The Duke of Sussex, 38, will attend the annual awards event for WellChild, a charity for seriously ill kids, in London on September 7. Harry has been patron of WellChild for 15 years — and it is one of the few organizations he has retained from his royal life after stepping back from his working royal role in 2020.
Prince Harry is attending the WellChild event in England ahead of traveling on to Germany for the sixth iteration of his Invictus Games competition.
There is no word yet on whether Prince Harry will see any members of his family while he is in the U.K.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Prince Harry said, “For nearly 20 years, WellChild has been transforming the lives of children and young people across the U.K., providing critical care that prioritizes the physical, mental and emotional well-being of these individuals and their families.”
“The courage and strength embodied by these young people — and the tireless devotion of those who support them — never cease to inspire me,” he continued. “I’m honored to attend this year’s awards ceremony and celebrate their incredible work.”
So the timeline is as follows: Harry will attend the WellChild Awards on September 7, a Thursday. On the 8th, the death-anniversary of QEII, William and Kate will do an “event” to memorialize the late queen, an event which likely started out as just as a tweet, but now they definitely have to do something and be seen together. Then the Invictus Games opening ceremony is on the 9th, a Saturday. And just FYI: Meghan will reportedly not appear anywhere in those three days. Harry is going solo at WellChild and at the opening ceremony, and Meghan is flying in separately to Dusseldorf mid-Games. Anyway, I’m glad Harry is making time for WellChild and I hope he stays safe.

For years, Prince Albert of Monaco had a relationship with Nicole Coste, who was then a stewardess. Twenty years ago, they welcomed a son together, Alexandre. Over the years, Albert has made an effort (??) to embrace Alexandre, and the kid lives part-time in Monaco and he’s being included at some of the royal functions. Nicole gave a couple of interviews in 2021 and she served up some tea: she claimed that Princess Charlene doesn’t like Alexandre and Charlene had him moved into the “servant’s quarters” of the Prince’s Palace. Albert denied that, but Nicole went even further and said that Charlene’s health issues (in 2021) were “karma.” Well, ahead of his twentieth birthday, Alexandre chatted with the French outlet Point de Vue about his half-royal life, taking his father’s name and his relations with his stepmother and half-siblings. Some highlights:
He’s a business major: He feels he’s arriving at “the age when you make choices. These can be good or bad depending on the background you have and those around you. I think I’m certainly a reasonable person. The commitment which takes precedence in my life today is finishing my university studies.” When pressed by the interviewer on precisely what role he hopes to play in Monaco’s future, Alexandre shows a sign of his father’s wit: “I’m only 20. Let me get my diploma, and we’ll talk about it.”
He lives at home in England: Studying business management at an English university, Alexandre says he still lives at home with his mother and two older half-brothers from her past marriage — a situation he likes. “It’s a chance when you study and you don’t have to worry about anything,” he says.
Whether he would pursue modeling: “As a teenager, I thought about it. The idea of being photographed in nice clothes and looking elegant amused me. But COVID happened, and I ended up losing interest. I was also a minor. My father is a prince and head of state — I personally cannot imagine myself marching on a podium. On the other hand, if a prestigious brand asks me to be its ambassador and its image suits me, why not?”
The son of a prince: “I’ve had some rather happy times, to tell the truth, and I’ve never had the feeling that the way others, my friends in particular, change their views of me and who I am. But maybe I’m still too young to discern this. I appreciate my friends very much, and I hope they’ll never disappoint me.”
Adopting the Grimaldi name: Since 2022, with his father’s encouragement, he has publicly gone by the family name of Grimaldi, refusing the hyphenated version of his last name that the press imposed on him since childhood. His decision, he maintains, was significant, and he bristles at those — especially online — continuing to call him Grimaldi-Coste or challenging his legitimacy. “My father’s name is Grimaldi. It makes sense that I bear his name. I would have been called Dochomel if my father had been Mr. Dochomel! Besides, I never called myself Coste or Coste-Grimaldi. On no ID, at school or on my diplomas. Those who call me that have a malicious attitude.”
He doesn’t want to be called “illegitimate” either: “Nor am I ‘illegitimate’ since when I was born, neither of my parents was in another marriage, and they did not commit adultery. Using that word is insulting! I hope no one believes the lies conveyed on the internet. One bears the name of one’s father when one has been recognized since birth. I had voluntary recognition from my father when I was a baby. Not from a judge or the press who have forced him to,” he says. “My mother, whom I adore is my rock, and she is not jealous at all of my choice. If she never said anything about my surname, it’s been to protect our privacy. I was 2 years old when I was revealed in the press. One thing is certain: Today, I am a happy man being open and honest with you.”
His relationships with his half-siblings: Without hesitation, Alexandre says Jazmin Grace “is my big sister, and I love her like I love my two big brothers on my mother’s side. We all get along very well, and Jazmin is also very close to one of my two brothers with whom she shares the same birthday. We’ve a good relationship despite the fact that we live in distant countries.” As for Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, Alexandre acknowledges approaching his role with caution. Asked what he shares with the 8-year-old royals, he suggests “tenderness.” He adds with a smile, “Not their toys. That’s for sure given our age difference.”
He sounds like an intelligent young man, but I can tell that his mother has coached him. She was apparently part of the interview too, and I would imagine the unpublished “outtakes” were probably the most interesting parts. It’s clear that Nicole wants Alexandre to have an attachment to Monaco and to be close to Albert. I think it’s refreshing that Albert hasn’t hidden Alexandre away and that the kid is being inducted into royal life in some kind of way. I also think that what Nicole said about Charlene is probably the truth, and that Charlene isn’t jazzed about her husband’s other children hanging around.

Dolly Parton is doing the rounds in advance of her new album Rockstar that comes out in November. I love that Dolly is promoting this thing so far in advance–it’s old school, just like she is. Plus, with the Hollywood strikes continuing, it’s not a bad press strategy to take advantage of the relative quiet. She recently appeared on TalkShopLive which is like a home shopping channel, but on the Internet, and during her segment you could pre-order signed copies of her upcoming album as well as her new book Behind the Seams. Those signed copies are all sold out now–I checked! TV host Nancy O’Dell interviewed Dolly and they talked about the new album and its roster of guest stars, including Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and Paul McCartney. They also talked about how Dolly handles emotions like anger. Her answer was textbook Dolly: “I’ll tell ya where to put it if I don’t like where you got it!”
The odds of seeing Dolly Parton get angry are low — but it happens.
The country superstar, known for her sweet and bubbly personality, recently opened up about how she deals with anger in a new interview with Nancy O’Dell on TalkShopLive and revealed that she’ll tell somebody off when it’s necessary.
“Well, you ain’t going to see [my anger],” said Parton, 77. “I’m just a regular person. I’m not one where I’m one person out here and another [in private]. I’m a businessperson. Sometimes you’ve just kind of gotta pitch a fit to get it done or get it done right.”
The “Jolene” singer-songwriter noted that she gets angry if “someone’s messing with my family or messing with my work,” and at a certain point, the people around her will know how she’s feeling.
“Like I’ve always said, I’ll tell ya where to put it if I don’t like where you got it. I think anybody’s like that. You can’t just go through life just floating around getting anything done,” continued Parton.
“I don’t lose my temper, but I use my temper. Of course, I’ve lost it a few times but it’s not that I’m losing my temper, I’m trying to use it because sometimes there are just some people you have to speak up to,” she said. “Because if they don’t know, especially as a shock, for somebody like me to raise my voice to people, that’s not what they’re used to.”
I believe that Dolly has a backbone of steel and that if anyone pushes far enough, she’ll give them what for. It’s also refreshing to hear her talk about this because women are often taught to suppress their anger. Dolly had to deal with people trying to push her around early in her career, including her duet partner Porter Wagoner. When she says “I don’t lose my temper, I use it,” it’s not just a cute turn of phrase, it’s also wise. My therapist told me that anger is often a kind of warning–it tells us that someone is trying to violate our boundaries or rights, or being dishonest. Sometimes we overreact but most of the time, anger is a useful thing to pay attention to. I love that Dolly is authentic when she talks about difficult emotions. It would be easier for her to gloss over it all, but it’s validating to know that even saintly Dolly gets mad sometimes. I wonder who is dumb enough to trifle with Dolly.
Back in March, Cara Delevingne revealed that she had gone to rehab and been sober for months. She was obviously drinking and drugging for years, until she came to a point where she didn’t recognize herself or what she had become. Since she got sober in the fall of 2022, she’s been going to AA meetings and working her 12-step program. I am happy for her, and I’m saying that as someone who never cared for Cara whatsoever. I think her story and journey are helpful for people her age, people who might not realize they have a problem, people who believe that they’re managing their addictions just fine. Anyway, Cara covers the latest issue of Elle UK and it’s a lot like her Vogue cover story months ago. Cara is still bracingly sober and figuring how to enjoy her new sober life. Some highlights:
Sober activities: ‘I’m able to live in a way that I never thought I would be able to, where I can really experience things and engage with them. I never thought I would be able to enjoy anything this much…. It’s been worth every second. I just don’t know what it would take for me to give it up. I am stable. I’m calmer.’ She has learned a lot, she says. ‘That I’m resilient as hell. That anything is possible. I think I used to say that and not believe it. But now I really believe it.’
Her early success as a model: ‘It didn’t feel real. I didn’t feel like I deserved it. I didn’t feel worthy. I was still stuck in this mindset of not being good enough. I was doing the best I could, but I wasn’t really appreciating every moment. Inside, I felt very different to how I looked.’
Her recovery: She started with Alcoholics Anonymous’ 12-steps programme and has a sponsor, as well as support from ‘friends who have been down this path before who have been instrumental in guiding me’. But traditional therapy has never worked for her, she says. Instead, she sees Colin Dunsmuir, her yoga teacher since she was 18, three times a week, over FaceTime. Sometimes they talk, or they might do breathing or chanting: ‘Whatever my body needs. He knows me so well. But honestly, feeding myself creatively is probably the best self-care I can do. I feel like art is therapy to me.’
She didn’t have queer icons to look up to when she was a kid: ‘Not really. Like Billie Jean King, but not until I was older. And Elton and George Michael. And men who pushed the gender boundary like David Bowie and Prince, but not women.’ Representation is important, ‘especially for young people, who feel like they’re alone, to see people who are like them – and to see anyone in the umbrella of the LGBTQIA+ flag. It’s all family.’
Queer joy is important: ‘Now more than ever, in England and in the US. It’s a scary time for queer people. But the more that we’re met with fear, the more joy we have to bring. Because no one can take that joy away, no matter what. We’re not going anywhere.’
The only thing I’m a little bit “eh” about is “traditional therapy has never worked for her, she says.” Not a red flag, but maybe some kind of flag. I suspect that Cara simply doesn’t want to do the work in therapy and unpack a lot of her bullsh-t and her family’s bullsh-t. I was going to criticize the whole “there weren’t gay icons around when I was growing up,” but I think she’s specifically talking about queer women in the public eye, in the UK in the 1990s and early 2000s. Is that the case? I don’t know. Maybe she’s right. Also: I find it hilarious when nepo babies talk about their imposter syndrome. They’ve gotten whole-ass careers from their names, family connections and privilege and once they get to the top of the mountain, they’re like “oh no, this was too easy!”

To me, Irina Shayk is refreshingly straight-forward. Maybe it’s a Russian thing, but she doesn’t seem to have secret motives or some hidden agenda. What you see is what you get and she doesn’t appear to play games. She’s not coy, she doesn’t play hard to get. She sees an interesting guy, she brazenly flirts with him. She gets asked to fly out for a date, she’s on the plane. She’s also pretty straight-forward with how she approaches her media and PR – oftentimes, I get the sense that Irina is just calling up some People Magazine editor, telling the person how she’s feeling about this or that, and that’s it. Well, I think that’s what happened here. People Mag wanted an update so Irina gave them an update – she considers Tom Brady to be her “dream guy.”
Tom Brady and Irina Shayk’s romance is going strong. Shayk, 37, is “impressed with Tom,” a source tells PEOPLE, adding, “He is her dream guy. She loves dating him.”
As the summer winds down, the romance between the former NFL quarterback, 46, and the model is seemingly heating up.
“They work around their schedules and meet up wherever they can,” the source tells PEOPLE. “Irina doesn’t mind traveling to see him. She is very excited about their relationship.”
Last week, the couple were spotted together at a boutique London hotel. Brady and Shayk spent two days together at Twenty Two Hotel in London’s Mayfair area before leaving the hotel separately last Tuesday, with the retired athlete photographed leaving through a side entrance at 7:20 a.m., and Shayk departing from a different side entrance five minutes earlier.
Only a beautiful Russian model could come on this strong and not scare a guy away. But I get it – I’d love it if more celebrities would approach relationships this way. I wish more regular people would too. Irina is like, yes, I adore him, he is my dream guy, I will fly anywhere he wants. Are her girlfriends like “honey, you should play hard to get” and Irina is like “no, don’t play hard to get with a man who is hard to get?”
Well, ask and ye shall receive. Yesterday, I mentioned that I was bummed that the SAG-AFTRA strike had deprived us of more Barbie promotion goodness, and suddenly, new behind-the-scenes footage was released. The footage shows different clips from the filming of “I’m Just Ken,” including rehearsals, the Ken chorus recording the song, Slash playing guitar, and Greta Gerwig cracking up. The montage of footage is set to Ryan Gosling singing “I’m Just Ken.” It’s definitely worth the watch.
Even “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig can’t get “Kenough” of Ryan Gosling.
The actor, who stars as Ken in the movie, had Gerwig in the throes of laughter on set while filming the “I’m Just Ken” musical sequence, as seen in new behind-the-scenes footage that was released on Monday.
The video showcases the pair cracking up while watching a playback of Gosling singing about living a life of “blond fragility,” and later bending over in laughter after the cast of Kens dance around the set during the infamous “Beach off.”
In another clip, Gerwig hilariously throws her hands to her mouth after watching Gosling furiously rip off his coat, and even Simu Liu, who also plays Ken, is seen losing it alongside Gosling during the 1950’s dance sequence.
And as if Gosling’s commitment to nailing this role wasn’t clear enough, the triple-threat’s talent is reinforced when he’s seen fully nailing his dance moves in bonus footage of him performing parts of the musical number during various rehearsals.
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is also seen recording his guitar part for the song, and producers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt are showcased working their magic in the studio as the cast of Kens sing with passion while recording their backup vocals.
The “I’m Just Ken” sequence in the film illustrates Ken’s frustration with the dynamic between himself and Margot Robbie’s Barbie. The pair are best friends, but Ken’s feelings for Barbie go beyond that.
“I’m just Ken. Where I see love she sees a friend,” he sings. “What will it take for her to see the man behind the tan, and fight for me?”
It’s clear though that Gosling is so much more than just Ken, and he’s Kenough.
Oh, I feel the Kenergy. The music video is truly delightful. I’ve already watched it twice and am about to make Mr. Rosie watch it with me a third time. From the outside, it really looks like filming Barbie was an absolute blast. It’s also pretty great to see the cast getting along so well. Loved seeing the musicians, like Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen, interspersed in there as well. While I 100% support both strikes, I do think this is a super clever way of promoting Barbie and keeping the buzz up, especially since it’s going to be available for streaming on demand starting on September 5. I do hope that we get another video – it doesn’t have to be a musical montage – of behind-the-scenes goodness from the Barbies’ side of things. Ooooh, can you imagine how much outtakes gold there must be with Kate McKinnon and the snapping the other Barbies out of the trance stuff? I need a blooper reel, stat!
When the Princess of Wales has been MIA for a while, the media tends to repeat old, superficial stories with some new spin, like “Kate is amazing because she copied someone” or “Kate’s flag-cosplay shows she’s ready to be queen!” This is one of those stories. For years now, we’ve known that Kate doesn’t play well with other women. That’s especially true when she’s the guest at someone else’s wedding. Suddenly, Kate is desperate to pull focus and make an ass out of herself, like when she wore the palest of “primrose yellow” dresses to the Sussex wedding. There was the bright fuchsia dress she wore to Princess Eugenie’s wedding. There was the matronly dusty-rose dress she wore to her sister’s wedding, which was technically fine except that Kate was practically standing on her head in her attempt to pull focus from the bride. You get the idea – Kate is a passive-aggressive witch. Please allow a royal expert to try to convince you that, actually, Kate is always a perfectly dressed wedding guest.
When she’s attending weddings, the Princess of Wales reportedly has a simple and savvy trick to avoid stealing the spotlight. Explaining Kate’s approach to wedding guest style, HELLO! Online’s royal correspondent Danielle Stacey said, “It’s a fashion trick that [Kate Middleton] often deploys when it comes to her wedding guest outfits. We’ve seen Kate re-wear pieces from her wardrobe to some of her closest friends and family’s nuptials, including a floral Jenny Packham dress for Emily McCorquodale and James Hutt’s wedding in May 2012 (previously worn on the royal tour 2011) and a blue tweed Missoni coat for Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett’s wedding in 2014. As well as repeating an outfit, Kate has also opted for a dress or a coat in a different colour, but a similar style to a piece she already owns. It’s something for us all to take note of – you don’t just have to wear your occasion-wear once!”
For her brother-in-law Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018, Kate recycled a pale yellow Alexander McQueen tailored coat that she had already worn on three previous occasions; for Princess Charlotte’s christening in July 2015, the Trooping the Colour celebration in 2016, and during a visit to Belgium in 2017.
However, the dress caused a lot of controversy as its pale colour meant many believed it to be white and wearing white to someone else’s wedding is a big no-no. Thankfully, The Palace released a statement sharing that Kate’s look was “primrose yellow” in colour despite the television cameras making it read more white.
The thing is, it’s been five years and we still haven’t solved the stupid mystery of Kate’s McQueen coatdress at Meghan and Harry’s wedding. If she repeated the previously-worn McQueen coat from Charlotte’s christening, good job, you’re admitting that Kate wore white to another woman’s wedding, because that christening coat was absolutely white. I actually do believe that Kate had an almost exact replica of the christening look made in the palest, almost-white “primrose yellow” shade. And she decided to wear it anyway, because she’s rude as hell. You know who else pulled almost the exact same thing? Camilla. She wore an “off-white” dress to Charles and Diana’s wedding. The excuse was similar to Kate’s excuse – the grey color was just so pale, it read as white on-camera. Kate and Camilla really are birds of a feather.

King Charles has been in residence at Balmoral officially since Monday. Hello Magazine reports that Prince William and Kate are due to visit “in the coming days.” Hello’s piece actually reminded me of something I forgot, which is that William and Kate arrived in Scotland separately last year, well before QEII passed away. William and George arrived at Balmoral first, then Kate brought Louis and Charlotte up separately. This would have been right before Kate was sent to live in Adelaide Cottage, her little separation house. Separate lives.
Instead of focusing on the sorry state of the Wales marriage, of course all of the royal experts are completely focused on that random claim that King Charles and Prince Harry were planning to meet for “peace talks” in September. The original claim was solely about Harry and his father. Then William freaked out and started running around and furiously briefing reporters that Charles wouldn’t dare, that William still hates Harry and William would never sit down for any peace talks. Well, Duncan Larcombe was one of those royal commentators who got a call from Kensington Palace:
Multiple royal experts told Fox News Digital they don’t believe a “peace summit” is happening between the monarch and “the spare.”
“The person I spoke to about this, they poured quite a lot of scorn on it, and we’re not at that stage yet from either side,” said royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Larcombe said it would take “nothing short of a miracle” for Harry, 38, and Charles, 74, to come together and repair their relationship.
“Feelings between Prince William and Prince Harry are still running so strong that I think King Charles would think long and hard about going behind William’s back and trying to make peace with Harry,” he explained. “I just don’t think that time has come yet. I’m not saying it never will. But I think we’re a long way off.”
Larcombe claimed that whenever the royals finally agree to a sit-down, the Duchess of Sussex wouldn’t be part of the conversation. The former American actress became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Harry in 2018.
“If … they do have a summit, that will only happen on the basis that it’s in the strictest confidence and the details of that conversation would never go anywhere else,” Larcombe explained. “I just don’t think that they would trust Meghan. … You can’t have a full and frank conversation with Harry and run the risk of it being broadcast in America soon after. That’s a trust thing. The royals do not trust Meghan. And I think they’ve already got quite a good reason not to trust her at this point.”
“I just don’t think that they would trust Meghan” – Meghan, the woman who basically said that the Windsors and the British media were in cahoots to ger her to unalive herself? The same woman who didn’t even reveal half of the sh-t that those people did and said to her? The woman who was held hostage repeatedly by a racist, misogynistic institution? The thing is, they’ve always been terrified of her and it’s just because they don’t have anything on her, nothing to hold over her head, nothing to threaten her with. Anyway, these people f–king suck and it speaks volumes that the sum total of this little briefing spree is that “we still hate Meghan and we refuse to include her in anything, and William is permanently incandescent with rage.”
I genuinely have no idea what’s really happening between Scooter Braun and his clients, including Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. Demi Lovato absolutely left Braun, both sides have confirmed that. But Ariana and Justin’s standing with Braun and his management company SB Projects is still up in the air. Variety had a piece (which I covered separately) in which their industry sources were all over the place. My best guess is that both Ariana and Justin are leaving SB Projects, but Scooter is reminding them both that they still have contracts with him and it’s not as easy as just announcing something to Billboard or People Mag. Speaking of, Bieber’s team announced something to People Mag:
For the first time in 16 years, Justin Bieber is working on music without Scooter Braun by his side, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively. While the source says Bieber, 29, is “still managed” by Braun, 42, multiple insiders tell PEOPLE the pair haven’t spoken in nearly a year. (Puck News was first to report the estrangement.)
“Justin’s been working on his new record for the last six months. Scooter and SB Projects have not set up one session or done one thing for this [new] record,” says the source. “The relationship with Scooter has run its course.”
A rep for Braun has not commented on the situation, and a label rep for Bieber did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.
On Tuesday a source confirmed that Ariana Grande had parted ways with Braun after 10 years of working together. “They are friendly but she’s outgrown him and is excited to go in a different direction,” said a source close to the situation. “Yes there are negotiations happening because of contracts. But this is her choice. It’s time for something new.”
Still, a music industry source with knowledge of the situation maintained that “all of Scooter Braun’s clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as HYBE America CEO,” adding, “People are spreading rumors based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter’s team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like.”
“All of Scooter Braun’s clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months…” So… Scooter must have stepped away from the daily management last year, and Ariana and Justin are not happy with the people currently handling their careers at SB Projects. That’s my take. I also believe that Justin and Ariana are both ready to spread their wings and get new teams now that they’re 29/30 years old, but they aren’t completely clear on how to actually untangle themselves from their management, especially with Scooter breathing down their necks and reminding them: “we’ve got contracts, dummies.”
Tom Quinn is “accidentally” spilling all kinds of royal tea. Usually, royal biographers are stenographers to palace courtiers, fancying themselves part of the royal image-making process. Perhaps Quinn’s book, Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family, is the standard, unreadable hog-wash, but his promotion for the book is full of all kinds of shady sh-t about Prince William and Kate. In recent months, Quinn has revealed that William is “prone to tantrums” and Kate “treats William like the fourth child.” Quinn recently spoke about how William and Kate “throw cushions at each other” because they’re constantly and violently furious with each other, but don’t worry, their violence is “always kept under control.” Speaking of violence and assault, Quinn has heard from his palace sources that Will and Kate are still enraged about Prince Harry revealing his 2019 assault.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have certainly not forgiven Prince Harry’s explosive revelations in the Duke of Sussex’s best-selling memoir Spare, a royal expert claims. Tom Quinn told Daily Express US that Prince William and Princess Kate harbor “a lot more anger” behind closed doors Harry than what the pair show in public.
“I interviewed people that worked for Harry and Meghan when they were in England. I also interviewed people that worked for Kate and William,” Mr Quinn told the publication. “They say that privately there’s a lot more anger than there is publicly. William and Kate are especially furious about the accusation that William physically assaulted Harry.”
The author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family added that while “brothers fight all the time”, William remains bitter that Harry aired their grievances publicly.
“William is really angry about the whole idea that these difficulties should be aired in public,” Mr Quinn told the outlet.
It’s been more than eight months since Harry revealed, in Spare, that William assaulted him in Nottingham Cottage in 2019. In that time, William and his people have never even denied that the assault took place, they’ve never briefed the media about “William’s side,” they’ve never said “well, William only assaulted Harry because Meghan is Black!” All we’ve ever heard is that William is furious, disgusted, incandescent with rage because… Harry revealed the assault, which absolutely happened. Really think about that. Think about how f–king bonkers it is that William is violently angry that his victim SPOKE ABOUT BEING ASSAULTED.
