While I think the USA Network was a great home for shows like Suits, White Collar and Monk in its day, I do wonder if, in retrospect, Suits would have done amazing on network television like NBC. It was glossy and fun, a breezy hour-long drama with attractive people and a diverse cast. In this sliding-doors situation, I have to think that NBC probably would have canceled it though, which is why USA was a better home – Suits was allowed the time and space to tell its story and pace itself the right way without NBC executives breathing down their necks. Still, I’d like to know if NBC does have any regrets about not picking up Suits back in 2010-11. Anyway, the story in 2023 is still that people are rediscovering Suits, so much so that the Suits Renaissance is practically responsible for fueling what Deadline refers to as a “grim milestone.”

It’s a streaming world, and we’re just living in it. It is no secret that streaming dominates the TV landscape, but Nielsen measured a new (and somewhat grim) milestone for broadcast and cable in July’s edition of the company’s monthly state of TV report, The Gauge. For the first time, linear TV viewership accounted for less than 50% of all TV usage in a measurement month.

According to Nielsen, broadcast and cable each represented record low shares at 20% and 29.6% of total TV usage, respectively, to combine for a linear television total of 49.6%. Compared to this time last year, broadcast viewing was down 5.4%, and cable viewing was down 12.5%.

On a month-over-month basis, broadcast viewing fell 3.6% in July and cable viewing was down 2.9%. Nielsen reports that dramas remained the top broadcast genre, but the top programs of the month were actually ABC World News Tonight and the MLB All Star Game on Fox. As for cable, sports took the cake as usual, with ESPN’s Home Run Derby and College World Series at the top.

Then, there was streaming. Viewing across streamers increase by 2.9% from June to July and has ballooned 25.3% in the past year. It now represents 38.7% of total TV usage, which is a new record-high for the second consecutive month.

Netflix was a major contributor to the increase in streaming viewership (with a 4.2% increase in its share of total TV usage), assisted by none other than Suits. The legal dramedy has taken over screens across the U.S. since it debuted on Netflix and Peacock simultaneously in June, breaking Nielsen records with nearly 4B minutes viewed in just one measurement week.

In July, Suits accounted for 18B viewing minutes. To put that into perspective, Nielsen says that Stranger Things also managed 18B viewing minutes last July with the conclusion of Season 4. Put more plainly, people are watching a lot of Suits.

[From Deadline]

Basically, people would rather watch Suits on Netflix or Peacock rather than whatever is scheduled on NBC, CBS and ABC. And for the first time, more people are opting out of network and cable television than opting in. I mean… my TV is almost always set on Tennis Channel, the Food Network or the Cooking Channel, but I get it. I also get why this has become the Summer of Suits – people enjoy watching completed, multi-season TV shows. Over 18 billion minutes of Suits watched on streaming… I can’t even comprehend those kinds of numbers. Definitely wish that Meghan, the cast and the writers were being paid residuals for it.

It’s difficult to even unpack all of the layers of racism, white supremacy, white-saviorism and regular old fraud when it comes to this week’s revelations about Michael Oher and the Tuohy family. When Oher was a gifted-but-poor teen, the Tuohys were one of several Memphis families taking him in and looking after him. They offered to adopt him, they had him sign some papers and up until February of his year, Oher believed that they were his adoptive parents. Turns out, it was all a lie – they never adopted him, they scammed him into a conservatorship which defrauded Oher out of millions of dollars. He received no money for his life rights, which were used to make The Blind Side. Oher released a new statement the day after he filed a lawsuit against the Tuohys and petitioned to have the court remove the conservatorship.

Former NFL player Michael Oher has released a statement after he filed a legal petition to terminate a conservatorship, in which he alleges Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy lied about adopting him while making millions off his name. On Monday, Oher, 37, filed a petition claiming that the Tuohy family did not legally adopt him but tricked him into making them his conservators before earning millions from his falsified life story, which was depicted in the film The Blind Side.

“I am disheartened by the revelation shared in the lawsuit today,” Oher said in a statement issued to PEOPLE by a representative for the former NFL player. Oher’s statement continued, “This is a difficult situation for my family and me. I want to ask everyone to please respect our privacy at this time. For now, I will let the lawsuit speak for itself and will offer no further comment.”

[From People]

Yes, let the lawsuit speak for itself. Not only that, but let the Tuohys incriminate themselves by lying their asses off all over the place. Sean Tuohy – the patriarch of the Tuohy family and the man who lied about adopting Michael Oher for years – spoke to the Daily Memphian on Tuesday and these quotes are a lot:

Sean on Oher’s lawsuit: “We’re devastated. It’s upsetting to think we would make money off any of our children. But we’re going to love Michael at 37 just like we loved him at 16.”

On the accusation that the Tuohys made money off of the movie: “We were never offered money; we never asked for money. My money is well-documented; you can look up how much I sold my company for. The last thing I needed was 40 grand from a movie. I will say it’s upsetting that people would think I would want to make money off any of my children.”

The conservatorship, Part 1: Tuohy insisted the conservatorship that prompted the filing of Monday’s petition was unrelated to the movie. Rather, it was a way to appease the NCAA, the nonprofit organization that regulates student athletics, when it appeared Oher was likely to play football at the University of Mississippi. Tuohy was an All-American point guard at the Southern university known as “Ole Miss” and an active supporter of the school. As such, he would qualify as a “booster” under NCAA rules.

The conservatorship Part 2: “Michael was obviously living with us for a long time, and the NCAA didn’t like tha. They said the only way Michael could go to Ole Miss was if he was actually part of the family. I sat Michael down and told him, ‘If you’re planning to go to Ole Miss — or even considering Ole Miss — we think you have to be part of the family. This would do that, legally.’ We contacted lawyers who had told us that we couldn’t adopt over the age of 18; the only thing we could do was to have a conservatorship. We were so concerned it was on the up-and-up that we made sure the biological mother came to court.”

What happened after the movie came out: Tuohy said that while he and his family had remained close with Oher following the film’s release in 2009, he began to notice some distance “maybe a year and a half ago…It’s upsetting, but it’s life, what are you going to do? Certain people will believe us and certain people won’t. No question, the allegations are insulting, but, look, it’s a crazy world. You’ve got to live in it. It’s obviously upset everybody. It’s hard because you have to defend yourself, but whatever he wants, we’ll do. We’re not in this for anything other than whatever he wants. If he’d have said, ‘I don’t want to be part of the family anymore,’ we’d have been very upset, but we absolutely would have done it.”

Whether he’s willing to end the conservatorship: “I want whatever Michael wants.”

[From People]

There are so many sketchy parts of Sean Tuohy’s story – if everything was completely above-board with the conservatorship, why didn’t Oher know about it at the time? Why was he told it was an adoption? Why did the Tuohys tell people – including the filmmakers and journalists – that they adopted him? If the conservatorship was just an NCAA work-around, why wasn’t the conservatorship removed after Oher left Ole Miss and joined the NFL? Why was Oher not consulted about his life rights and why did he not profit whatsoever from the film? This whole thing is so unsettling.

On Monday, the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential column scooped everyone by revealing that the Princess of Wales had dinner with her rural rival Rose Hanbury, and Rose convinced Kate to attend the 24-hour “rave” music festival which was being hosted on the Houghton Hall estate. Everything about Eden’s report was sketchy, including the emphasis on William’s absence, the fact that Kate and Rose are making a point of “being friendly,” the fact that Rose is perhaps Kate’s only friend in Norfolk (which is sad because Rose also got peggy with William) and on and on. Well, would you like an even weirder addendum to the story? Kate and her “party” made a point of tipping well at the on-site pop-up restaurant at the Houghton Festival.

The Princess of Wales attended her first music festival last weekend, as I disclosed in the Daily Mail on Tuesday, and staff will hope it won’t be her last. For it has been revealed that her party left a £700 tip.

Catherine joined revellers at the Houghton Festival in Norfolk, where DJs played music 24 hours a day. During her night out, she is said to have avoided the festival food trucks, instead opting for the on-site Turntable & Napkin restaurant, where diners pay £60 each for a four-course meal.

‘[Catherine] was in high spirits, ordering spicy margaritas, eating affogato [an Italian coffee-based dessert], and speaking affably with the other members of her party,’ reports the London Evening Standard.

‘Her companions apparently carted in a huge, balthazar-sized bottle of AIX rosé and, together with Kate, left the festival restaurant staff a £700 tip.’ A balthazar is a 12-litre bottle and it would cost about £500 from a wine shop.

Catherine, 41, is understood to have made her first ever visit to a music festival at the weekend, albeit a very upper-class one. She was dining with her Norfolk neighbours, the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, David and Rose, at their Palladian stately home, Houghton Hall. At the time, the Houghton Festival was taking place on their 1,000-acre estate.

‘After dinner, one of the guests suggested that Catherine go to the festival,’ a source told the Daily Mail yesterday. ‘Catherine was nervous about the idea, but, after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn’t there.’

[From The Daily Mail]

Something I think about a lot is how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to have a lot of pity for Kate and that drives her crazy. My take is that most people in Kate’s life do see her as this pitiful person. The vibe with this whole story is that Rose and David are extremely cool, avant-garde, bohemian people and they took pity on the poor, friendless, hopelessly uncool Kate. The group Kate was with – I guarantee those were Rose and David’s friends and I guarantee that Rose was like “do look after that poor sausage, make sure her wig stays glued on at the festival.” What does it feel like to have your husband’s mistress pity you??? I also guarantee that Kate does not tip that well, that was absolutely someone else in the group, probably one of Rose’s friends. Kate doesn’t seem like someone who tips or knows what things cost. Also: spicy margaritas AND rosé? She was puking her guts out the next day.

Happy Indictmas Season, everyone! Spread the Indictmas goodwill far and wide! Wish your friends and family a very pleasant Indictmas! Tuesday was special because we celebrated the new high holy day, RICO Charges Day. Fun story: no one can be pardoned on RICO charges/convictions in the state of Georgia. Which might explain why Mark Meadows (one of the indicted co-conspirators) is trying to make the Fulton County case into a federal beef. There are question marks all around that weasel Meadows too – it’s widely assumed that he’s singing like a canary to Special Council Jack Smith, only to get caught up in the Georgia Indictmas. Anyway, the Fulton County sherif’s office says Donald Trump will not get special treatment and he can come in for booking any time, where he will have his mugshot taken.

Former President Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants will be booked at the Fulton County Jail, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.

“At this point, based on guidance received from the District Attorney’s office and presiding judge, it is expected that all 19 defendants named in the indictment will be booked at the Rice Street Jail,” Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Natalie Ammons said in a statement.

Prosecutors say the former president orchestrated a sweeping criminal enterprise, committing more than a dozen felonies, as he tried and failed to overturn his defeat in Georgia’s 2020 election. Trump was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury Monday evening, alongside co-defendants including his lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and former state Republican Party chairman David Shafer.

District Attorney Fani Willis said Trump and his co-defendants have until Aug. 25 at noon to turn themselves in.

“Keep in mind, defendants can turn themselves in at any time,” the sheriff’s office said Tuesday. “The jail is open 24/7. Also, due to the unprecedented nature of this case, some circumstances may change with little or no warning.”

The sheriff’s office also said it is creating a designated media space in the jail’s parking lot to accommodate the local and national networks sure to descend on the facility.

[From The Atlanta Journal Constitution]

I wished for handcuffs and shackles, but here we are and this is fine. That f–ker will have to pose for a mugshot and be treated like every other f–king criminal. I honestly cannot wait to see Trump’s unhinged mugshot. Please, I’ll be publishing that in every Trump story forever.

This clip of Kimberly Guilfoyle comparing Trump to John Gotti is quite extraordinary. She ends up highlighting the fact that Trump is an even bigger criminal than JOHN GOTTI.

Bradley Cooper waited a few years before trying his hand at directing again following A Star Is Born. ASIB was a success by most metrics – Cooper was nominated for multiple Oscars, Lady Gaga won an Oscar for the song, and the film made a lot of money. Personally, I hated the movie, but whatever, it was fine. Apparently, during ASIB’s promotion, B-Coop was already setting up his next project, but it took him a while to get it going. The film? Maestro, a sort of bio-pic about the conductor Leonard Bernstein. It’s about his life and work and his marriage to Felicia Montealegre. The first trailer was released this week:

So… people are mad and I get why. My first thought was “what accents are they TRYING to do?” It sounds like they’re both trying and failing to do a Katherine Hepburn impression. Other people were more focused on Bradley’s prosthetic nose, and I see why. It’s distracting and really unnecessary. It’s not even like Leonard Bernstein was known for having a huge nose? Why did B-Coop insist on this? People have made the argument that the prosthetic nose in this case is antisemitic – Bernstein was Jewish and goyim Bradley wanted to “signal” Bernstein’s Jewish ancestry visually. When you see the comparison pics between Bradley’s regular face and Bernstein’s face, it does feel extremely strange that Cooper decided to wear this ridiculous prosthesis.

PS… This argument will come up again if and when goyim Helen Mirren promotes Golda, where she also wears a prosthetic nose to play the famed Israeli prime minister Golda Meir. The only thing I’ll say in Helen’s defense is that with her prosthetics, she actually LOOKS like Meir. Bradley’s prosthetic nose doesn’t make him look any more or less like Bernstein.

There are so many dumb narratives pushed by the British media about the Sussexes, but there are a couple of narratives which I’m always like “wait, it would be amazing if Meghan actually did that.” Like, I would love to read a memoir written by Meghan. I would love it if Meghan restarted The Tig and began lifestyle-blogging again. And I would love to see her back on Instagram. Meghan has a good eye and natural style – that’s why the salt-royals always copykeen everything she does. But really, I want her to get back on Instagram because this 42-year-old woman still looks like a college student. Meghan’s colorist Kadi Lee posted the above photo on her IG Stories. The other woman in the photo is Cleo Wade, an author and one of Meg’s friends. This was apparently a belated birthday lunch, probably done when Meg’s husband was out of town. The Mail already obsessively ID’s Meghan’s necklace – the “Ariel Gordon Imperial Disc Pendant Necklace, which costs around $1,840 and can be engraved with names.” LOL.

Meanwhile, if you can believe it, we’re still talking about NuCalm discs and whether or not Meghan was paid to wear one last week. NuCalm has really been doing the most since those photos were published on Saturday. Granted, they’re riding a wave of free publicity, the likes of which most companies can only dream of. But it does feel like they’re being over-eager to attach themselves to Meghan. At least NuCalm is denying that the photos were spon-con.

Meghan Markle recently stepped out with a NuCalm anti-stress patch seemingly “strategically” placed on her wrist — but the brand is denying any “business relationship” with the Duchess of Sussex.

“We have never sponsored or paid for any product endorsements despite working with over 56 professional sports teams and hundreds of celebrities,” the brand tells Page Six in a statement. Instead, the company calls Markle a “loyal user of [their] technology.” The statement continues, “We never share who is using NuCalm, but if an athlete or celebrity wants to share, that is their prerogative.”

The denial comes after brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Daily Mail that Markle’s “strategic placement from a relatively new start-up company who reposted the image of her in their own social media is a clear message that she is looking to build her lifestyle brand and create a platform for her followers to benefit from her experiences and the products that help her.”

Notably, NuCalm tells us they have been around since 2009.

Ede called the debunked partnership “a good way to go” on Monday, concluding, “The image was a clear message to say she’s stressed but she’s using a patch to help her. Her brand is very strong.”

[From Page Six]

This is one of those things I wish Meghan would just lean into, like restarting The Tig and rejoining Instagram. Like, do some spon-con, get paid, align yourself with a company whose products you actually use. Clearly, NuCalm is up for it and they’re gleeful about Meghan’s unpaid endorsement of their product. While the Mail’s “brand expert” is a moron, he’s right about one thing – Meghan’s personal brand is amazing and she can “sell” anything. I’ve wanted her to get a luxury purse campaign, but maybe this is the way to go.

In March of last year Bruce Willis’ family shared he was retiring from acting due to his diagnosis of aphasia, a neurological condition. Then earlier this year, the Willis clan updated his fans that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia. With both announcements it was notable that the statements were from the family, not directly from Bruce. It wasn’t entirely surprising, given that both aphasia and FTD have symptoms of speech and communication difficulties, as well as potential emotional instability and loss of motor skills. The fact that Bruce wasn’t speaking for himself seemed to indicate the extent to which he was already dependent on caretaking.

Throughout his diagnosis (which likely began long before it was made public), his chief caretaker has been his wife of 14 years, Emma Heming. In an Instagram post on Monday, Emma briefly yet impactfully shared that she’s “not good,” but making a daily choice to break up the doom and gloom outlook that befalls caretakers. More on what Emma called her care partner PSA:

Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Hemming Willis, is providing an update on how she’s doing amid her husband’s current health situation.

The former model has served as the actor’s caregiver since his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, which was publicly revealed by his family in February.

In a new Instagram video, the Make Time Wellness founder tearfully sent a message to fellow “care partners,” letting it be known that although she may look like she’s handling it all well, it’s nowhere near easy.

The 45-year-old started the clip by addressing why it is she previously asked people in a position similar to hers to send her photos of “something beautiful,” which, she noted, are making her “so happy.”

“I just think it’s so important for us to sort of break up our thinking, which can feel, for me, very much like doom and gloom,” she admitted.

“I know it looks like I’m out living my best life. I have to make a conscious effort every single day to live the best life that I can,” she said, adding that it’s not only for herself, but for her and the Red star’s two children, and for “Bruce, who would not want me to live any other way.”

She furthered her transparent message by explaining, “I don’t want it to be misconstrued that I’m good, because I’m not. I’m not good, but I have to put my best foot forward for the sake of myself and my family.”

The pair wed in 2009, later welcoming daughters Mabel Ray, 11, and Evelyn Penn, 9.

In the caption of the August 14 social media post, the Malta-born entrepreneur made her intentions for the update clear.

“This is a care partner PSA. My message is simple. When we are not looking after ourselves, we are no good to the people we love who we want to show up for and take care of,” she wrote in the caption of the upload.

Heming Willis continued: “I don’t have this down to a fine-science either, but I try. It’s an affirmation I use daily so it’s kept in the forefront of my mind. Your pictures, words of support and love for me and my family were felt. Honestly, thank you, it helps. I ask that you’ll consider to keep looking for that one beautiful thing or moment in your day. And I hope you can take me seriously in my dopey hat.”

[From Parade]

Bitches, this one really hit me in the gut. I’ve shared a little bit here on watching my mother be caretaker for my father after his stroke. She’s been on duty full time since he came home from the hospital and rehab four months ago. Last week he had to go back to the hospital. As awful as it may sound, my initial thought was of relief for my mother. Without meaning any disrespect towards my father—or Bruce, or any ill person—I have been much more worried about my mother throughout this whole period. I think of it as every emotion, everywhere, all at once. There’s heartbreak in seeing your partner in pain, fading away, and losing their dignity. There’s also, equally justified, anger and resentment with the situation (even sometimes directed at the ill partner). That in turn is often followed by guilt, playing out in an endless vicious cycle. I’ve seen all this in my mother over the past nine months. It’s just so much to bear.

Out of everything in the post, I appreciate most that Emma honestly says she is “not good.” She has two young daughters who are witnessing the decline of their father. I bet Emma is concerned everyday about how they are processing this moment. How much do you let them spend all the time they can with their father, versus how much do you try to protect them in their childhood?

I think she’s doing a mitzvah by reaching out like this to fellow care partners. It is so easy to get stuck in doom and gloom, and in my experience it’s usually an outside stimulus that helps me let go of the negative loop. Whether it’s sharing beautiful photos like Emma requested, sharing stories, or sharing an adorably dopey hat, it’s the connecting itself that helps. Sending my very best thoughts to Emma, Bruce, and their family.

There are so many reasons to love Dolly Parton but one of the things I admire the most about her is her commitment to promoting childhood literacy. Her charity the Imagination Library donates a free book to each child enrolled in the program, from birth (or whenever they are registered) until they turn five. Since 1995, it’s donated over 200 million books to over 2 million kids across five countries, including the United States. I know it’s active in many states, but the Library has just expanded statewide into Kansas. So Dolly went there and was interviewed by the governor, Laura Kelly, about why she started Imagination Library. Dolly’s dad couldn’t read, and he was embarrassed by that, so Dolly created this charity in his honor. One of the first places that Imagination Library expanded to outside of Tennessee was Pratt, Kansas, so this statewide expansion is a full-circle moment.

Country superstar, American icon and literacy champion Dolly Parton visited Overland Park on Monday to celebrate a new partnership with the state of Kansas, expanding her Imagination Library program.

Now, if you live anywhere in Kansas and you have a child under 5 years old, you can sign up your child for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The result is that every month your child will receive a book in the mail completely for free.

Beyond the voice, beyond the magnetic personality, Dolly Parton describes her motivation for creating Imagination Library: her father.

“Being that far back in the mountains, Daddy didn’t go to school. My daddy didn’t learn to read or write. That troubled him, troubled me that he was troubled,” Parton said at the J KC’s White Theatre.

“Daddy got to live long enough to see Imagination Library take off, and I thought that was great,” Parton said.

“She is — she’s Dolly,” Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly said. “What can I say? There’s no question when she walked into the backstage that that was Dolly Parton.”

Kelly, acting as interviewer, notes the first expansion of Imagination Library outside of Tennessee (Parton’s home state) was into Pratt, Kansas.

The current push to bring the program statewide bookends that move that’s already considered popular in some spots.

“We were told that we would probably get about 1,000 kids in our first year. Well we had 1,000 kids in our first seven hours,” said Kim Hinkle, executive director of the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation.

The group was the first to adopt the program in Johnson County.

“If you sign your child up the day they’re born, they’ll have 60 books in their home library by the time they’re in kindergarten,” Hinkle said.

[From Fox4 Kansas City]

As if that weren’t enough, Dolly also visited Olympia, Washington, to celebrate statewide coverage for the Imagination Library there, too. The impact that this charity has makes me emotional just to think about. It can be challenging for people, especially in rural areas, to find and afford high quality books for their kids. Dolly designed this charity so thoughtfully, because getting a new book delivered each month makes a child feel excited and special, and gives them something to look forward to. (It also lightens the burden on parents, since they don’t have to remember to do anything.) The books are always age appropriate for the child, so that they may be challenged, but not overwhelmed by the reading level of the book. And there are braille books and audiobooks for children who need them. This is why Dolly is a national treasure. She has taken her power and influence and truly used it for good. And the Imagination Library isn’t just a one time thing–it’s an ongoing, years-long commitment to each child who is registered.

I really like Natasha Lyonne and am so happy that she’s gotten a big career boost over the past few years. I love both Russian Doll and Poker Face and can’t wait to see what she ends up doing next. I also love her style. I follow her on Instagram and she does a lot of fashion-related posts. To me, she’s one of those women who always looks really cool in whatever she’s wearing. She even makes crazy glasses look cool. Right now, Natasha is the face of Old Navy’s newest campaign, and in the promotion for it, she has some thoughts about looking stylish while still being comfortable.

??For Natasha Lyonne, comfort and style go hand in hand.

The Poker Face star — who fronts Old Navy’s newest campaign, launching today — knows how to turn it up for a red carpet or a night out, but always in something that makes her feel confident and completely herself.

“I really like being able to walk,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively of how she builds an outfit that’s “authentically Natasha.” “The thing I like the least about a look is not being able to move in my shoes. I find that so many people go to award shows and spend the whole night complaining about their shoes or clothes. I won’t play that game anymore. I’m too seasoned.”

[From People]

Well, no lies detected there! I knew she was awesome. I like getting dressed up for a wedding or party but my days of wearing something that I feel like I can’t eat in or shoes that I can’t walk in are long over. I got a pair of Rothy’s for Christmas in 2019 and have never switched back to any kind of heel other than the occasional wedge (sorry, Kaiser!) with a dress in the summertime. I’ve also bought a bunch of comfy dresses with pockets over the past year or so, including two that I got from Old Navy. Oh, pocket dresses, where have you been all my life?

Anyway, much like Natasha, I find that the older I get, the more I just want to be comfortable in whatever I’m wearing in general. At this point in my life, I know what I feel comfortable in and don’t feel the pressure to deviate. Good for Natasha for keeping it real, as always. I wish I was able to rock a good pair of heels or crazy sunglasses, though! If that’s your thing, then right on, that’s awesome! May we all wear what we feel comfortable in and rock whatever we want to with confidence.

RICO charges, bitches!!! Donald Trump has now been indicted for a fourth time. It is truly a year-long Indictmas!! Donald Trump’s fourth indictment in thirteen months comes from the state of Georgia, and this is also about Trump’s criminal efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and ratf–k his way into a dictatorship. While Trump and his cronies pulled a lot of sh-t in a lot of states, Georgia was a special case, because the state-wide vote was so close and it took days to count every vote. Trump and his people were interfering with the election, tampering with the process at every level and colluding with local Republicans in Georgia in a massive criminal conspiracy. RICO charges, baby!!

Donald Trump was indicted in a fourth criminal investigation on Monday night, shortly after a Georgia prosecutor presented evidence to a grand jury regarding the former president’s efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

Through a majority vote, the 23-member jury revealed that they were ultimately convinced by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ case against Trump and his allies, signing off on her office’s proposed criminal charges after reviewing evidence and hearing testimony. The result was a 41-count, 98-page indictment covering 19 defendants.

Trump faces 13 felony counts: racketeering (violation of the Georgia RICO Act); three counts of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer; conspiracy to commit personating a public officer; two counts conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two counts of conspiracy to commit false statements and writings; conspiracy to commit filing false documents; filing false documents; and two counts of false statements and writings.

The Fulton County charges bring him to a total of 91 criminal counts he’s been indicted on this year between the four investigations, several of which come with recommended prison time. If convicted of violating the Georgia RICO Act — classified a step above felony, as a “serious felony” — Trump would face a mandatory minimum sentence of five years.

Eighteen allies were also charged, including former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; former Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Bob Cheeley, Ray Smith III and Kenneth Chesebro; former assistant U.S. attorney general Jeffrey Clark; former Georgia Republican Party Chairman David Shafer; and current Georgia state Sen. Shawn Still. Additional defendants include a GOP strategist, local elections officials, an Atlanta bail bondsman, a publicist, an Illinois pastor and a onetime congressional candidate.

After the indictment was processed on Monday night, Willis said that she would request a trial date within six months with the goal of trying all 19 defendants together.

[From People]

This Georgia indictment is probably the coolest one of all because this time, they really will frog-march that ratf–king treasonous monster to booking, where he will be fingerprinted, weighed and photographed for his mug shot. Might I suggest a mandatory delousing and a wig removal? Another fun fact is that Georgia allows television cameras in court, so his trial in the state will be televised.
