Arrow star Stephen Amell shared a family photo via Instagram Wednesday.

“What a tremendous treat it was to have my two ladies with me in New York for the past month. For a brief snippet in time, they were absolute New Yorkers. I’m awfully lucky,” the Canadian actor, 34, captioned the image with wife Cassandra Jean and their daughter Mavi, 20 months, on the NYC set of his film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

On Father’s Day, the actor posted a fun photo with his toddler.

“Should we? It’s Father’s Day… WE SHOULD!!!,” he captioned the image in a fountain with his tot.

Last week, Amell and his family-of-three attended a Blue Jays game in his native Toronto.

Expectant mama Kristin Cavallari posted an updated baby bump photo via Instagram Tuesday.

“Just finishing filming…will let u know what show when I’m allowed to dress @azzedinealaiaofficial // shoes Kristin Cavallari by @chineselaundry,” The Hills alum, 28, captioned the image in a chic blue mini maternity dress.

Rocking another mini, the reality star-turned designer shared another shot dressed in black and white.

“New content up on my app! Includes a 3 day food diary, my trip to Napa, pregnancy fashion inspo, plus what pill I think everyone should be taking every single day. Check it out- search Kristin Cavallari in the App Store,” Cavallari wrote.

And last week, she posted a photo of her two sons – Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 1 – with husband, NFL star Jay Cutler.

The most interesting story coming out of this year’s Grammys was when Kanye West pulled a Kanye and stage-rushed poor Beck when Beck was trying to accept his Grammy. That moment during the Grammy telecast was actually funny, and even Beck welcomed it. But then Kanye went on E! News after the Grammys and said, in part: “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé, and at this point, we tired of it.” As in, Beck is not as much of an artist as Beyonce. Which is just stupid, and Kanye realized the error of his ways within a few days/weeks. He ended up apologizing to Beck on Twitter and talking about how much he liked Beck’s album once he got the chance to listen to it.

So was everything forgiven and forgotten? What’s interesting to me is that Beck really never had a bad word to say about Kanye at all. Beck was and is an easy-going “live and let live” kind of guy, which made Kanye’s insults that much worse. Beck’s silence just made Kanye look that much more petty and childish. Well, anyway, Kanye has a new interview with The Times and he chats again about the Beck situation and some other stuff about beauty and truth.

Kanye’s apology to Beck: “I’m fine to apologize for inaccuracies. You know, I send flowers for inaccuracies. I talked to Beck’s wife [Marissa Ribisi], and I think I had a point about Beyonce’s album, but I think I was inaccurate with the concept of a gentleman who plays 14 instruments not respecting artistry.”

His philosophy: “I don’t make suggestions, I make propositions. I don’t give requests, I give directives. There’s no in-between.”

Beauty & truth: “Isn’t it amazing that people are so constantly shocked by the commonly agreed-on truth? How much bulls–t are we in if, every single time I give not just my opinion, but a vast 80%, 90% opinion, I get into that much trouble? When the truth is a mass opinion. That’s not about accuracy, it’s the definition of truth. In this fight, in this struggle for beauty, in this struggle for awesomeness, in this struggle for fair play, in a manipulative field, there might be a couple of inaccuracies on my part. But far fewer than the inaccuracies of the current systems.”

His reinvention: “Imagine if [Leonardo] da Vinci or Michelangelo or Galileo were asked not to think of anything except for the one thing they first became famous for. So da Vinci could only have one idea. For all haters, I’m not saying I’m da Vinci, but I feel it’s right for any human being to compare themselves to anything. I could compare myself to this chair, I’m saying, ‘I’ve got all this on my back, so I’m a chair.’ People get really uptight about my comparisons, but I’m an extreme speaker, and I speak through comparisons.”

Well, he’s right about one thing – Beck is a gentleman and Beck not only respects artistry, Beck is likely one of the most talented artists working in music today. I guess Kanye is saying in his weird way that he sent his apologies to Beck through Beck’s wife, and maybe Kanye sent flowers as well? As for the rest of it… truth is not opinion. The majority of people can agree on something but a majority doesn’t make it a fact, you know? I feel like Kanye is on the cusp of truly grasping something profound, but his ego always gets in the damn way.
