Kendall Jenner visited the Jon Boy tattoo studio in NYC last night. He documented his celeb clients (Hailey Baldwin was also there) on Instagram. No big deal, right? People get tattoos all the time. Well some outlets believe Kendall is rebelling (quite openly) against Kim Kardashian’s “no-tattoo policy.” These claims sound sensationalistic, but they could be true. Kendall spoke earlier this year about how Kim told her not to get inked. Kim said, “Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” which is hilarious because Kim doesn’t mind modifying her body through plastic surgery. But tattoos are so tacky to her!
Now wait until you see Kendall’s tattoo. She tried to show it off by flipping the bird, but it wasn’t visible. Here’s Kendall’s grand rebellion:

Just a tiny white dot! Two of them, actually. This reminds me of the Friends episode where Phoebe chickened out at a tattoo studio, ended up with a similar dot, and claimed it was a beautiful tattoo of the Earth. So funny. Maybe Kendall really is rebelling, and she simply didn’t want to jeopardize her modelling gigs with a more prominent inking.
Here are some photos of Kendall last night at the Fragrance Foundation awards to support her Estee Lauder ambassadorship. I don’t have an ID on this dress, but it feels like she keeps wearing the same outfit. Kendall knows the style that works for her.

Here are some photos from the National Service of Commemoration at St, Paul’s Cathedral in London to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Prince Charles, Prince Edward, the Duchess of Cornwall and David Cameron were all in attendance at the service to commemorate the battle that finally toppled Napoleon. Many British military leaders and descendants of those who fought at Waterloo also attended – some were quoted as saying that if the British had not won at Waterloo, they could all be speaking French right now. That’s a pretty interesting what-if. What if France had conquered Britain? What would that have meant for World War I & World War II? Hm. Now I’m going to be thinking about that all day.
I have to say, I think Camilla looked really great here. Last week Camilla debuted her expensive new hairstyle, although you really can’t make out much of her hair in these photos because of that beautiful feathered hat. Her coat is by Anna Valentine, one of Camilla’s go-to designers. Charles wore his Field Marshall military dress coat, along with all of his hardware (Knight of the Garter Star, Knight of the Thistle Star, Order of the Bath and Order of Merit).
You can read more about the commemoration here. Charles and Camilla also went to Belgium yesterday as part of the commemoration – go here to see Clarence House’s tweets about their trip.

Here’s Zoe Saldana at the LA premiere of Infinitely Polar Bear. She wore a one-sleeved, Louis Vuitton throw rug. I think this would have been a passable dress with no sleeves. It’s notable that Zoe took a break from her beloved Dolce & Gabbana.
Zoe has a new interview about juggling parenting and work. From the moment Zoe thanked the media for invading her privacy by noticing her pregnancy, I knew she’d be full of opinions. Zoe has not disappointed. Since giving birth, Zoe’s given her thoughts on “archaic” sleeptraining, “frustrating” body struggles, and how it’s okay to be a self-focused mom. My take is that Zoe thought motherhood would be much less difficult than the reality.
Zoe’s latest crusade involves the high cost of childcare, which is common knowledge for anyone with kids. Zoe thinks we don’t know this already. She told USA Today about how she argued with studios over who should pay for her nannies. This is amazing:
She nearly lost jobs by getting pregnant: “Let me tell you something, it will never be the right time for anybody in your life that you get pregnant. The productions I was slated to work on sort of had a panic. I heard through the grapevine there was even a conversation of me being written off of one of the projects. I was like, ‘Oh, my God, are you kidding me? It’s this bad?’ Right when I just feel super-duper happy, is that inconvenient for you? That me, as a woman in my thirties, I finally am in love and I am finally starting my life? And it’s (screwing) your schedule up? Really?”
Zoe thinks studios should pay for nannies: Studios “spend more money sometimes ‘perking’ up male superstars in a movie [with] a really phat penthouse or them staying in a yacht instead of them staying on land. But then a woman comes in going, ‘OK, I have a child. You’re taking me away from my home. You’re taking my children away from their home. And you’re going to make me work a lot more hours than I usually would if I was home. Therefore, I would have to pay for this nanny for more hours — so I kind of need that. And they go, ‘Nope, we don’t pay for nannies.’”
[From USA Today]
The paper got ahold of Paramount, the studio behind the new Star Trek movies. Paramount wouldn’t talk, so Zoe’s rep clarified: “The issue had been resolved prior to when this interview was conducted.” It sounds like Zoe doesn’t consider the issue resolved. Either the studio refused to pay for nannies (and Zoe’s mentioning it to shame them), or the studio gave in (and she still wants to talk about it).
Zoe does sound a little entitled by insisting employers should pay for her nannies because most women don’t receive any such perk. USA Today did the legwork on employers who do pay for childcare. They quote a study that says only 5% of companies contribute (even just a tiny bit) towards these expenses. Some people think that actresses who make millions shouldn’t complain, but thinking of this in terms of equality changes the argument. If male actors are getting crazy perks too (like penthouses and yachts), nannies aren’t too unreasonable of a request for an actress.

Yesterday, we saw a preview of the upcoming US Magazine cover story claiming that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s 10 year marriage is in deep trouble. The fact that US is running this as opposed to the tabloids, which have had this story for weeks, gives it some credibility. I haven’t been able to get ahold of the new US Weekly yet, I’m waiting for the digital edition to be published on Zinio, but Radar Online has more quotes from the magazine. The details make it sound like Jennifer is the one leaking this story to US and like she’s totally fed up. Here’s Radar’s coverage of US’s story:
“Ben is hardly around,” a confidante of the couple revealed. “He comes home for a little, and then has to jet off to another project.”
According to the magazine, Affleck has practically moved out of their L.A. home and often stays at the Hotel Bel-Air. “He stays there whenever he and Jen are having problems,” says the source.
And whenever they are together, the tension is palpable. “They speak in short, direct sentences to each other,” says an Affleck source familiar with the couple’s interactions. “They can be passive-aggressive and dismissive…
“Splitting up is Jennifer’s worst nightmare for their children,” explains a Garner source.
“But there’s only so much she can do,” adds the source. “There comes a point where she just has to take care of herself and the children.”
[From Radar Online]
In a follow-up story, Radar claims that Affleck has definitely consulted lawyers about a divorce but that he wants Garner to file, essentially, so he doesn’t look like an a-hole. Garner supposedly isn’t ready to let go.
“The lawyers have already been briefed,” an insider exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.
However, if 43-year-old Garner gets her way, the two will continue to work on fixing their floundering relationship, the insider explains.
“They’re acting like nothing is wrong — and it’s Jennifer’s doing,” says the source, noting “Ben feels awkward and confused” while “Jen would stay in their damaged marriage forever if she could.”
As Radar reported, Affleck, 42, is secretly consulting legal experts about ending the marriage. “Ben and his team have definitely been engaging divorce attorneys,” a source recently told Radar. “He’s positioning for a divorce.”
“Right now, it’s just coming up with a strategy and whether or not it makes sense for Ben to do it quietly and jointly so there is no battle, or to do it on his own,” the source said.
However, says the insider, “Ben wants his wife to file for divorce — he doesn’t want it to be him.”
[From Radar Online]
I hope Radar is just doing photo assumption based on how miserable Ben always looks when the paps follow him (and when he doesn’t have something to promote). Sadly the US story is kind of cinching it for me. There are about 11 days until Ben and Jen hit the magical 10 year mark (more on the legal implications here). The tabloids have been saying that they’ll file prior to then. I hope that they’re ok, that their kids are ok and that they’ll stick it out, but if they’re miserable like this… maybe it’s for the best.

Over the weekend, Duchess Kate made her first two public appearances since giving birth to baby Charlotte and debuting the baby publicly. That was May 2nd. And in the month and a half that followed, Kate pretty much lost all of the weight from her second pregnancy. If you really want me to examine her body, I’d say she’s still carrying a few pounds of baby weight, but I’d also say that she looked really good as-is, and she might want to think about staying at this weight because it really softens her face and makes her look younger. Anyway, tons of sites were running “How Did Kate Lose The Baby Weight?” stories over the weekend and now People Magazine has the answer – she hired an expensive London trainer who began working with Kate while she was pregnant!
Skinny jeans six weeks after delivering daughter Charlotte? When you’re Princess Kate, yes. In this week’s cover story, PEOPLE exclusively reveals the secret to her fit form: a top London trainer who worked with the royal mom, 33, throughout her pregnancy.
The trainer, who is popular with an elite clientele of A-listers, royals and executives, “was brought on board while she was pregnant and is super-discreet,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It’s a lot of money, but you get a lot for the price.”
Included in the package is a tailored fitness routine and regular monitoring.
“The trainer checks in remotely with Kate by phone every day as well as seeing her in person once a week,” says the source.
As for diet, Kate – who breastfed Prince George and is likely doing the same with Charlotte – is a clean eater who has always gone heavy on organic fruits, veggies and lean meats. The trainer embraces a similar philosophy – with a high-end twist.
“The food is very elegant and actually feels like food you would eat at a restaurant,” says the source. “The whole program is very sensible – it’s not fad-based and is really focused on your overall health and well-being.”
[From People]
I don’t know what you want me to say here. On one side, it really sucks that Kate feels she has to be so image-conscious that she can’t even just relax and enjoy the pregnancy and the post-pregnancy time with her children. On the other side, I can only imagine the headlines at the Daily Mail and other media outlets if Kate had dared to leave the house with 20 pounds of “pregnancy weight” still left. Anyway, this “program” sounds like the classic rich-person thing. You spend a crazy amount of money for prepared meals or a private chef cooking to narrow specifications and you’re monitored every damn day about your food intake and exercise. Beyonce, Gwyneth, Tracy Anderson and many more are trying to get into that business too. It’s lucrative if you develop a “program” that works for rich people.

Dear Gossips,
I bought Janet Jackson tickets on presale yesterday. Set my alarm for it at 10am to click on the AMEX Front Of The Line link. September 15 in Toronto. During TIFF. I thought that would be my highest Miss Jackson point of the day.
