Congratulations are in order for Brian Tee and Mirelly Taylor.
The Jurassic World star, 38, and his Lost actress wife are expecting their first child – a girl – they officially announced at the world premiere of Jurassic World in Hollywood, Calif. on Tuesday (June 9).
While rocking the red carpet at his new film, Tee cradled his wife’s growing baby bump. Taylor looked radiant in a print maternity dress paired with black pumps.
Last month, the mom-to-be Tweeted a baby bump photo, confirming their baby’s gender.
“Enjoying a moment with our #BabyGirl @brian_tee #LOVE #miracles #union #Life #gratitude #familytime,” she captioned the image.
Congratulations to the Taylor-Tee family!

Last Thursday, Chris Brown spent hours terrorizing his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. It was sort of disturbing to see how his stalking and harassment of his ex was covered in the press, like “oh, it’s sweet that he wants to get back with Tran” or “he was just encouraged by friends.” That might explain meeting her in a public place when he knew she would arrive. It does not explain everything that came after, including jumping into her car, screaming outside of her house and forcing another confrontation at a diner at 4 am. Well, yesterday Chris Brown did a lengthy radio interview with Ryan Seacrest and he ended up talking about Tran, his baby Royalty and much more. Some highlights:
On his relationship with Tran: “I’m going to be honest and be a man about it and just take it one day at a time. I can’t promise anything and I can’t jump over the moon, but it takes time for all wounds [to heal]. I take full responsibility for my actions and things that I’ve done in the past. I feel like it’s just a time thing. I’m not a hateful person. Of course I still love her, but mentally right now, I think everything takes time. I just need to focus on being the best father I can be.”
What he’s learned since becoming a father: “There comes a time when people kind of have to grow up and become more of an adult and take on different responsibilities. I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter’s life. Just to see a smile on her face—just to see the littlest things—is emotional for me, so I just love that aspect of being able to be a father now.”
[From Us Weekly]
He also said he hopes to arrange some playdates for Royalty with North West and Blue Ivy Carter. Which… I mean, that would never happen, right? To some people – Jay-Z and Kanye – Chris Brown is still persona non grata. You can hear Brown’s interview here.
As for what he says about his daughter… “a blessing in disguise”? In disguise of what? Most people would say that a baby is simply a blessing full-stop. Only narcissistic monsters think of children as solely an opportunity to revamp their own image. Oh, and it sounds like Brown isn’t done with Tran. She seriously needs to get the police involved, because Chris Brown does not sound like a man who believes that it is truly OVER.

We have enough photos of Khloe Kardashian coming and going from the gym that I feel pretty confident in saying that she’s working really hard, really consistently. As in, I don’t believe she had lipo on her waist or anything to achieve her more toned look. But that’s not to say Khloe hasn’t had some major plastic surgery in the past few years. She’s had lip injections, modest-sized breast implants and what I’m sure are massive butt implants. Many, many people have talked about Khloe’s Pinocchio Butt and she’s barely said anything. But accuse her of having lipo? Suddenly she goes HAM. Per her Twitter:
I find it disgusting but maybe a compliment that I’m being accused of getting Lipo done. I work out 5 days a week. I bust my ass!
Yes this is documented by the paps. I’m assuming if I’ve had any sort of surgery I would need 6-8 weeks off of any intense workout.
Why is it so hard to give credit where credits due? I work my ass off in the gym. Again maybe I should be flattered?!?! Hummmmm
By the way…. I’m sending this tweet from the gym! Hi hater!!!
[From Khloe’s Twitter]
No mention of the butt implants. But yes, as I said, Khloe is a gym rat these days and by all accounts, she’s working out like a beast. Good for her. So of course I’ll believe that she’s not getting lipo. She’s just getting everything else.

Last fall when Top Five came out, I forgot to mention how Jerry Seinfeld’s cameo was the least funny part of the film. Even in an R-rated setting, the dude couldn’t muster up a laugh with his sardonic comments. I try to forget Jerry was a part of the project.
Jerry is still complaining about how stand-up comics have it rough these days. Yesterday, we talked about how Jerry feels college campuses are too sensitive, and kids don’t understand what “racist” and “sexist” mean. Jerry can’t believe people won’t let him shine. Seriously, can’t a guy stand on a stage, joke around, and make millions of dollars without being held accountable? People called Jerry out.
Jerry “clarified” his statements last night during a visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers. He still can’t stand political correctness, and he didn’t mean to simply call out college kids. Jerry thinks the problem is a larger one, and now everyone is too uptight. Seth started out by saying comedy is all about “pushing the line.” Jerry believes comedy has been hampered by audiences moving that line, just for fun:
“They keep moving the lines in for no reason. I do this joke about the way people need to justify their cell phone. ‘I need to have it with me because people are so important.’ I say, ‘They don’t seem very important, the way you scroll through them like a gay French king.’ [Exaggerated hand gesture.] I did this line recently in front of an audience, and comedy is where you can feel an opinion. And they thought, ‘What do you mean gay? What are you talking about gay? What are you doing? What do you mean?’ I thought, ‘Are you kidding me?’”
“I could imagine a time where people would say that’s offensive to suggest that a gay person moves their hands in a flourishing notion, and you need to apologize. There’s a creepy, PC thing out there that really bothers me.”
[From YouTube]
Journalist David Remnick agreed with Jerry and thinks the internet (especially Twitter) makes the PC brigade worse. Remnick makes an interesting point. The internet can amplify any sentiment. It can highlight the worst and best of humanity. It’s still not a comedian’s place to tell people how they should feel about his jokes. Nor should anyone belittle a group who feels offended when a comedian mocks them.
I guess we’re supposed to feel bad for Jerry though. Woe is the privileged comedian who can’t adapt to his audience.
Here’s the clip of Jerry whining to Seth Meyers.

As you know, a woman died this February in a multi-car accident in which Caitlyn Jenner was involved. The extent of Caitlyn’s role in the accident is somewhat unknown as reports vary. she has not been charged criminally yet, and it’s not expected she will be, but she has been named in two different civil suits. Caitlyn nee Bruce Jenner has been sued twice for the crash, by the family of the deceased and a person in a second car who was injured. Both lawsuits are now pending.
Caitlyn’s historical transition has been dominating the news lately, but The Daily Beast wants us to remember the victim of the car crash for which Caitlyn may or may not have been responsible. (I tend to think people are jumping to conclusions in blaming Caitlyn. A car stopped short, a second car stopped to avoid rear-ending the first car, and then Caitlyn rear ended the second car, causing it careen into traffic and get hit by an SUV, killing the driver. Caitlyn was towing an ATV, limiting her ability to stop. She may or may not have been following too close. She was smoking at the time. More on the accident here.)
The Daily Beast’s Michael Daly lets us know that the victim of that accident, Kim Howe, 69, was a charitable, well-liked lady who lost her husband to a heart attack 12 years prior to her death. In doing so, Daly throws a lot of shade on Caitlyn’s character despite the fact that she hasn’t been found responsible for the accident. I’ll excerpt some relevant parts but please read the full article to get a better idea:
The official findings will be based on the facts as presented by reports from everybody who was involved in the investigation, from the sheriff’s office to the California Highway Patrol, as well as the medical people.
The conclusions will be the same regardless of whether it is Bruce or Caitlyn on the paperwork. The determining factors will be whether Jenner was driving too fast (perhaps) or following too close (some reports suggest yes) or texting (reportedly no) or intoxicated (also reportedly no)…
By outward appearances, Caitlyn seems to have already found herself not guilty. She pronounced the collision a great tragedy immediately after the incident but seemed to portray herself as blameless.
What was most remarkable about that Vanity Fair cover was not what you saw, but what you did not see.
Jenner certainly did not seem haunted by the demise of a fellow woman four years older than herself, who lived not far from the Kardashian girls in a gorgeous residence that already had been shadowed by a terrible loss a dozen years ago…
Just two days after the Howes closed on the place, and just as they were to embark on a European holiday, Robert suffered a fatal heart attack.
Kim moved in nonetheless along with her rescue pooch, Daisy.
“She lived there all those years by herself with the dog,” Pascucci says…
As has been reported by the New York Daily News, Howe had been active long before her widowhood in supporting the efforts of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to find alternatives to experimentation on animals…
“She had strong feelings, strong beliefs, but a very quiet, soft-spoken person,” Barnard says.
“She wouldn’t in a million years have caused an accident,” he says.
He is horrified by the thought of her stopping for a car ahead of her and then suddenly being struck from behind and sent into oncoming traffic.
“Can you imagine how terrifying that would be?” he asks.
Maybe such imagining does torment the world-famous personage who was driving the car that triggered the horror.
Or maybe Jenner has been too busy of late imagining herself as the woman she knew herself to be.
But what kind of woman is she?
What kind of person?
The person we should all wish ourselves to be is a kindred spirit to the person who perished in that accident.
[From The Daily Beast]
No one said that Caitlyn is perfect, in fact she was an absentee father to her oldest children and definitely seems somewhat narcissistic. (That’s pretty much a side effect of having any kind of long term relationship with PMK.) As Daly mentions, no one found Caitlyn responsible for this accident, either. All we have are conflicting reports and there is no official conclusion yet. It’s also unlikely, according to TMZ, that she will be criminally prosecuted for this accident. So I do think it’s premature to blame her. (Although to be fair Daly did not do this, he just threw a lot of shade – masterfully I might add.) We can talk about Kim Howe’s charity work and her commitment to animal rights without denigrating Caitlyn Jenner. There is a lawsuit pending. While it would have been nice to hear remorse from Caitlyn about this accident, (whether or not she could have prevented it) she’s been advised by lawyers not to talk about it at all.
I do think that Caitlyn should have objected to the photos taken of her posing in her car, though. It probably never occurred to her, but it should have.
Here is Kim Howe:
The Hills alum Kristin Cavallari and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, open up their Nashville home for ELLE.com. The expectant mama chats about her upcoming book Balancing in Heels, family life with sons Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 1, and their baby on-the-way.
On moving away from L.A.: “I sort of have stepped out of the public eye and it’s actually been really refreshing. I was a little nervous at first, to be honest, just because I didn’t…It’s sort of always been ingrained in me that if you want to be in the entertainment business, you either have to be in L.A. or New York.”
On moving to Chicago: “When I married Jay, I officially moved to Chicago. I was a little scared. I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do with my career, but everything has sort of fallen into place with the shoes, especially, the jewelry, and now this book.”
On life in Nashville: “Cam is so happy that he’s here,” she says, and adds Nashville is the place they will call home full-time “if all goes according to plan. Jay hates Los Angeles. And Chicago’s just not home.”
