New mom-of-two Ali Larter shared a sweet new snapshot of daughter Vivienne, 3 months, via Instagram Tuesday.
“Ray of sunshine,” the Heroes star, 39, captioned the mommy-and-me image.
In February, the Legends actress introduced her beautiful baby girl on social media.
The actress and her writer-comedian husband, Hayes MacArthur, welcomed their daughter on Jan. 15.

I think we can safely say that Amal Clooney is a big hit in New York. And George Clooney seems fine with that. Maybe that was the point of all of this. George wanted his “equal,” someone who could be a “star” in different social settings, so he wouldn’t have to take “my girlfriend, the former wrestler” to big events. George has smoothed Amal’s path in New York society and to pay him back, Amal allegedly bought George a very special gift for his 54th birthday today: a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Amal Clooney is treating husband George to the ultimate boy toy for his birthday – a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The actor, who turns 54 on Wednesday, recently took a test drive in the £135,000 car, which is the latest model off the production line. And lawyer Amal has reportedly arranged to buy George one of the first available in the US to replace the star’s Porsche 911. The four-litre, 200mph motor will share a garage with his prized 1959 red and white Chevrolet Corvette.
A family source said: “George loves his cars. They have to be stylish and fast, and he always has two.”
They added: “Amal has been looking for the right car for him to replace his black Porsche 911 and the new one is much faster. He’s already test-driven it for his birthday present.”
Amal, 37, is also buying George a smoothie maker – “a big one apparently because he’s obsessed with his smoothies of all descriptions,” the source said. “George has had health issues, a lot of operations on his neck, and he finds the smoothies very soothing.”
“That’s in between the Casamigos Tequilas,” they joked, adding Clooney “finds fast cars soothing, too.”

I’m obviously out of touch with all the new-fangled kitchen equipment, but isn’t a “smoothie maker” just a blender? I just Googled “smoothie maker” and yeah… most of them are just fancy blenders. You can get the specialty smoothie makers, which look like they’re mostly for commercial use, so maybe that’s what she’s getting George. She probably doesn’t know because she never cooks or does anything in the kitchen?
As for the Porsche and George’s “health issues”… I really do wonder about his health. I tease George about a lot of stuff, but sometimes I see photos of him where he looks like he’s in genuine pain with his back and neck and I really feel sorry for him. And don’t Porsches have bucket seats? That’s going to be hell for George to get into and out of his new Porsche.

Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow skipped the Met Gala on Monday at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the second year in a row. Instead, the Goop founder spent the evening with her daughter Apple.
“This was the red carpet in my house last night,” the consciously uncoupled actress, 42, Instagrammed an image of her nearly 11-year-old daughter striking a pose in a blue onesie accessorized with a pair of monster feet slippers.
The Iron Man star has verbalized about her strong feelings about the Met Ball. After telling USA Today that she would never attend the event again, she then elaborated on Kiis 1065.
“Do you want me to be honest? It sucked!,” Paltrow said of the posh NYC event. “You always think, ‘Oh my god, it’s gonna be so glamorous and amazing and you’re going to see all these people,’ and then you get there and it’s so hot and it’s so crowded and everyone’s pushing you.”
Charlize Theron covers the June issue of Elle UK. The release of Mad Max: Fury Road is almost upon us. I think the press tour has been pretty interesting so far – Charlize and Tom Hardy have been doing their own things, doing separate interviews and both have spoken candidly about how they actually did fight on-set. It’s sort of refreshing to hear two adult actors talk about this stuff like actual adults. Like, “Yeah, we fought but I respect her” and “Yes, we didn’t always see eye to eye but we’re both professionals.” Charlize’s character in the film is already being called a feminist action hero, and in real life, Charlize is waving the feminist flag too. Some highlights from her Elle UK interview:
Asking for & getting equal pay for ‘Snow White’ sequel: ‘I have to give them credit because once I asked, they said yes. They did not fight it. And maybe that’s the message: That we just need to put our foot down. This is a good time for us to bring this to a place of fairness, and girls need to know that being a feminist is a good thing. It doesn’t mean that you hate men. It means equal rights. If you’re doing the same job, you should be compensated and treated in the same way.’
The pay disparity on ‘American Hustle’: ‘When I thought about the temperature out there – with finding out what Jennifer and Amy were being paid on a set with guy actors who are their counterparts… They’re just as good as any of the guys on there. Yeah, that p*ssed me off!’
Being objectified for her role in 2 Days In The Valley: ‘Someone thought it was a good idea to market almost the entire movie on me; objectifying me a little bit. I got a lot of attention from it, but the problem was that, afterwards, it was like, “We want you to do that again. Can you just do that? And so I didn’t work for almost two years.”’
Working with Sean Penn on ‘The Last Face’: ‘Putting aside that he’s my partner, he’s the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made it hard. There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like… he was incredibly unfair to me. But it makes you realise that no matter how complicated it gets, the priority is the relationship.’
[From Elle UK]
Charlize did demand equal pay for the sequel to Snow White & the Huntsman and she did it right after the Sony Hack leak. What was weird about that story wasn’t that Charlize had the stones to ask for more money (good for her), it was that the studio’s default was to pay Chris Hemsworth MORE than Charlize for no real reason. Like, Chris Hemsworth can only carry a movie if he’s got a big hammer. Charlize is an Oscar-winning actress who has already carried a wide variety of films. Why wasn’t she already being paid MORE than Hemsworth, not just the same amount?
As for the rest of it… I believe Charlize is a feminist and I believe she fights for women everywhere and for her own interests. I also think that she sort of kneecaps her own feminist arguments by referring to Sean Penn as “the love of my life.”

Salty…sandy…sticky…sunburned. The best. I love this human. My human.
A photo posted by Nikki Reed (@iamnikkireed) on May 2, 2015 at 8:13am PDT
I had to chuckle at the caption for this photo from Nikki Reed’s Instagram account. She’s expressing gratitude and love for her “human,” which is a weird way of telling us that Ian Somerhalder isn’t really a vampire. Last week, Nikki and Ian married after a 9-month courtship. I’ve been side-eyeing the followup news stream, just like the posed engagement ring pics and the $1000 novelty shop visits. Speaking of the latter, some people believe that a store employee ratted out Nikki and Ian’s saucy shopping trips. Perhaps, but I still say anyone who drops that much money for bedroom toys is looking for attention. For couples who appreciate discretion, mail-order services exist … with free shipping.
Since the wedding, the paparazzi have captured Nikki and Ian making out all over Tulum, Mexico. Nikki also strutted around for some NSFW beach wedgie pics. People has received exclusive details on the next place Nikki and Ian will visit on their honeymoon:
Why settle for just one exotic post-wedding destination?
It’s a twofer for newlyweds Nikki Reed, 26, and Ian Somerhalder, 36, who lounged beachside in Tulum, Mexico, before jetting off to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Twilight alum and the Vampire Diaries actor, who wed in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California, on April 26, first spent a few days in Mexico in an oceanfront suite at the boutique hotel Ana y Jose.
“They enjoyed the beach and the ocean,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They also went on several adventurous outings near their hotel. They seemed to have a great honeymoon.”
Next stop? Rio, where the couple also met up with some of Somerhalder’s costars for press commitments. The newlyweds, who had a double date with Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin on Saturday, had a more romantic dinner à deux the following night.
Over a meal of Brazilian food and red wine at Pomar Oragânico, “they were kissing nonstop!” an eyewitness says. “They looked very happy.”
Adds a source close to the couple: “They are over the moon to finally be married.”
[From People]
Hollywood Life also has an amusing anecdote from a source who spotted Nikki and Ian in Tulum. The honeymooners are surrounded by historic sites and tourist attractions, “but they didn’t see much of the sites. Instead, they locked themselves away in their bedroom for hours on end for hot and steamy sex sessions.” The source adds that every time the “insatiable” couple left their hotel room, “they certainly appeared flustered. But then they were soon back in the bedroom for another few hours, resurfaced for an hour or two, then straight back for more lovemaking.” Finally, Nikki and Ian don’t plan on having kids anytime soon: “They feel that would actually be a bit of a rush.”
Well, at least they’re happy. Nikki has now wed twice by age 26. She barely rested a moment between splitting with Paul McDonald and hooking up with Ian. Who knows, maybe it’s real. Here’s a picture of Nikki and Ian’s Instagrammed Valentine’s Day celebration. These two love to share their love with the world.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I used to think this Day was a conspiracy of chocolatiers and florists but I realize that taking a day out of our busy lives to celebrate the love in our lives is so important and should be every day. Celebrate love in your life-it’s what makes the world go around… Thank you all for giving us so much love, it’s so beautiful and so appreciated. Enjoy today-I just hope it isn’t about spending lots of money-the pressure to. THATS the corporate side that makes me sad. Love should be simple but thoughtful- a gesture or loving act shouldn’t be judged by its price tag… Love, Ian

My mom got me hooked on the show Forever on ABC, which I really enjoy despite my general dislike of crime procedurals. Welsch actor and hottie Ioan Gruffudd, 41, plays Dr. Henry Morgan, a medical examiner with an encyclopedic memory and an old fashioned sensibility. It turns out Dr. Morgan has been alive for hundreds of years, thanks to a bizarre condition which prevents him from aging and causes him to return whenever he’s killed. It sounds like a dumb premise for a show, I know, but the characters and storylines keep it interesting. The flashbacks from Morgan’s long life are my favorite and I especially like the relationship between Henry and his son, an antiques dealer played by Judd Hirsch.
Last night was the finale of the first season (which I have not seen yet, I’m waiting for my mom to come over and watch it). The fate of the show is up to question, although it has mediocre ratings and it’s thought that it won’t be renewed. ABC holds its upfronts and will announce it’s upcoming lineup next Tuesday, May 12. In the meantime Gruffudd has some thoughts about the show’s potential cancellation.
“If this is the end, I want everybody who is a fan of the show to know that I will be as devastated as they are,” the actor, who plays the un-killable Henry Morgan, told Us Weekly. “He’s an amazing character. I’ve loved, loved playing him. It’s a real gift of a part for an actor of my age to be striving in a procedural and a costume drama every week. It’s been such a pleasure to play him.”
“It’s pretty extraordinary — people who have seen the show are are huge fans of the show, and [everyone else] has never heard of the show. We’re very much on the bubble because we weren’t a runaway hit, but if you ask anybody that’s seen the show they can’t believe that it’s not a big hit. People are so passionate about it.”
That includes the actors on the show. Put simply, Gruffudd said, “I will be absolutely gutted if we don’t get to go again.”
[From US Magazine]
This is true – I saw the show and became a fan. I’m hoping that some of you are fans too. While we probably can’t influence whether it will be renewed or not, at least we can show some appreciation for an excellent show that kept us entertained. It makes me sad to say goodbye to good television but there’s something comforting about Gruffudd’s dedication to Forever. It’s nice to hear him speak so glowingly about it.
Gruffudd has another interview with US Magazine in which he sort-of reveals the fate of his character. I didn’t excerpt it because there are mild spoilers but you can read it there if you’re interested.
Gruffudd has been married for 15 years to an actress named Alice Eve and that they have daughters, Ella, five and Elsie, one and a half. Incidentally the actor who plays, Dr. Morgan’s assistant on the show, Joel David Moore, has been spotted out with Kate Hudson and is thought to be dating her. (Moore was also on Bones.) Hudson’s rep says of Moore that “they’re definitely just friends.” I only know Moore from Forever and have a hard time imagining him scoring Kate Hudson.

There were some notable absences at Monday night’s Met Gala. We knew ahead of time that Kristen Stewart – a regular at the Met Gala for several years – had a scheduling conflict. She appeared at a Chanel show in Seoul, South Korea. Gisele Bundchen made an appearance at the same show, so we knew ahead of time that Gisele and Tom Brady – also regulars at the event – would not be coming. But what about some of the other big names?
No Benedict Cumberbatch. Benedict came to last year’s Met Gala and he was on all of the leaked guest lists for this year’s Met Gala. Many believed he would come out with his heavily pregnant wife Sophie Hunter. I theorized several weeks ago that Sophie is probably due around now and that would mean A) Bendy wouldn’t want to leave his wife in London, when she could give birth at any moment and B) Sophie wouldn’t be able to fly this close to her due date anyway. A lot of you shouted at me for pointing that out. Looks like I was right though.
No Blake Lively. I didn’t really miss her, although at one point in our coverage yesterday, I did have a moment of “Oh, Blake didn’t come out this year. Huh.” According to Page Six, Blake didn’t “bail” on the Met Gala in the last minute, she RSVP’d NO weeks ago. Blake’s rep told Page Six: “Blake RSVP’d to Vogue a month ago and said she couldn’t make it. She is shooting back-to-back movies in China and Bangkok.” If you’re anything like me, Blake’s rep’s statement created a big “Wha?” Blake’s IMDB shows she only has one film in pre-production and nothing currently in production. She was also in New York early Monday – she made a public appearance and she was photographed and everything. And some sources say she was actually scheduled to appear. Huh. I feel like this could be a bigger story, right?
No Gwyneth Paltrow. Back in 2013, Gwyneth wore a sad pink dress and whined about how much the Met Gala “sucked”. She whined about it for weeks. The 2013 Met Gala was the worst thing that ever happened in Gwyneth’s charmed life. And to her credit, after dissing the gala so hard, she has not returned. I bet it wasn’t difficult this year, considering Gwyneth’s ex-husband’s lover (Jennifer Lawrence) was one of the co-chairs. But the Met Gala was on Goop’s mind, because she posted this Instagram of Apple:
