About an hour ago, Prince William left the hospital to head back to his London home, Kensington Palace, so he could pick up Prince George and bring him to the hospital. These are the brand new photos of William teaching George how to wave to the media and the happy onlookers as they arrived back at the hospital a short time ago.
I love the fact that William and George are matching their blues. And George is insanely cute with his little shorts and blue socks. I imagine that Carole Middleton dressed him – apparently, Carole has been at KP most of the day, spending time with George as Kate and William welcomed Princess Cambridge.
Word is that William picked up George because the whole Cambridge family – including Princess Cambridge! – will be heading back to KP before nightfall. Meaning we’ll be getting a big family photo-op outside the Lindo Wing shortly, probably within the next few hours. Apparently, the grandparents (Middleton or Wales) are not going to be visiting Kate and Princess Cambridge at the hospital, but everyone will be visiting in the coming days. Once again, I think Carole and Michael will be meeting their granddaughter before Prince Charles (which is exactly what happened with George too).
Charles and Camilla did send out a public congratulations to Will and Kate – go here to read.

PRINCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to the @Kensington Royal Twitter (Kate and William’s official Twitter), Kate delivered her baby girl at 8:34 am. Mother and child are doing well. Congrats to William and Kate. They must be so relieved. And we know Prince Charles wanted a princess granddaughter too. I’m assuming Kate will stay overnight at the hospital and we’ll get the big debut tomorrow. I don’t know when we’ll learn the name, hopefully today or tomorrow. Some people are still saying Alice or Elizabeth or Diana or Charlotte or Victoria. Could be.

Congratulations are in order for Matthew Settle and Maria Alfonsin.
The Gossip Girl alum, 45, and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together, Us reports.
While Settle has been mum about the pregnancy, his former costar Kelly Rutherford spilled the beans this week in NYC.
The actress was listing off the celebrities that will attend her upcoming charity event, for the Children’s Justice Campaign, scheduled for May 12.
“Marcia Cross, Ed Westwick, Vivica Fox, Selma Blair, and Lisa Rinna are all hosting. And Marianne Williamson and Lisa Bloom are speaking,” Rutherford told the mag. “I’m hoping Matthew can make it. He’s getting ready to have a baby, so I don’t know.”
Settle is best known for playing Rufus Humphrey on Gossip Girl.
He is already dad to 6-year-old daughter Aven with his ex-wife Naama Nativ.
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie covers the May issue of New York Family and opens up about family life with husband, public relations and communications consultant Michael Feldman, and their 8-month-old daughter Vale.
On motherhood: “In my mind, of course, I always thought and hoped and wanted to have kids, but I never knew what it would be like to actually be a mom. I came home yesterday and she put her hands up and was jumping up and down in her highchair, just so excited to see me—I was like, ‘I feel like a celebrity because Vale recognizes me and knows me!’”
On being pregnant on TV: “Of course, it’s not easy, necessarily, as your body is changing, and you’re getting bigger and bigger, and you’re in the eighth month of pregnancy, and you’re like: ‘What am I going to wear today?’ And you’re doing that on national TV—so there were some days that were better than others, but mostly it added a real something special to the whole experience.”
On her best advice to new moms: “Just try to be gentle on yourself. Especially in New York, we have a lot of working moms and moms who have been successful in careers. We’re used to understanding a problem and executing a strategy at work. And then you’re at home with this little baby, and it’s just a whole new area and you know nothing about it, and you feel so helpless and you wish you could reason your way out of this situation—and you can’t! You just have to trust that you know as much about this, and about your baby, as anybody else. Don’t worry so much—that would be my best advice. I’d like to take it, too!”
