Just hours after her arrival on Saturday, Kate Middleton and Prince William introduced their sweet little princess.

Then on Monday, Kensington Palace announced Her Royal Highness’ name: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. So what’s the meaning behind the royal tot’s moniker?

While there are several noteworthy Charlottes in English royal history, many speculate that it’s a nod to William’s father Prince Charles (Charlotte is the female version of the name).

Charlotte is also the middle name of Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, as well as her mother Carole.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth is both Kate’s middle name and a tribute to William’s grandmother and the reigning queen, Queen Elizabeth II.

And of course, Princess Charlotte’s third name is a tribute to William’s late mum, Princess Diana.

Happy Birthday to David Beckham!

The soccer star celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday (May 2) with wife, singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, and their four kids – sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 10, and 3½-year-old daughter Harper -in Marrakech, Morocco.

“So excited to be spending this special day with David and the kids in Marrakech!,” Victoria Instagrammed a shot during the birthday celebrations. She went on to announce that her hunky hubby has joined Instagram. “Welcome to Instagram @DavidBeckham! x vb #DB40.”

In a series of shots from David, Victoria and their eldest son, we get a glimpse inside the posh party. As it turns out, A-list pal Eva Longoria joined in on the festivities. Not to mention, it was a Spice Girls reunion with Victoria’s former bandmates Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton in attendance.

In a cute shot, the couple’s sweet daughter is attempting to help dad with his party hangover.
