Here are some photos of Amal and George Clooney out and about on Good Friday. They went out to dinner, because Amal does not cook but she does love to be photographed in candid shots around New York. Honestly, I think their marriage has probably never been stronger since they relocated (temporarily) to New York. Amal seems happier. George seems… well, he looks like he’s in pain, but I think that’s just his back. I’m actually starting to feel sorry for George a little bit – I really do believe his back is killing him and he’d probably much rather sit at home with a heating pad (or ice pack), only Amal doesn’t cook and she loves to be seen.

Amal’s ensemble is Giambattista Valli spring 2015. It’s a minidress with flutter sleeves – that white part is built into the dress. Amal has been wearing a lot of Valli in NYC. I think Giambattista Valli must be one of her new favorite designers, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Valli was sending Amal half their new collection. I wonder if Amal is going to do another fashion spread in another magazine? She famously did a Vogue piece ahead of her wedding. I bet Anna Wintour would love to feature Amal again. We’re coming up on the anniversary of George’s proposal too. Hm.

They went out to eat at Babbo. No word on what they ate there, but it probably didn’t involve tomatoes. Amal hates tomatoes. Also: her hair looks amazing. She must have just gotten a fresh blow-out on Friday.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may be currently in the middle of a divorce, but they’re not going to let that keep them from enjoying the holidays with their kids.

In the picture, we see Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon standing side-by-side as they take their two twins, Moroccan and Monroe, Easter egg hunting at the Bronx Zoo in New York City. As far as the twins are concerned, they’ll be turning 4-years-old this month. Carey captioned the photo she shared on Instagram:

“Happy Easter!!! #ontheegghunt #NYiswild”

I don’t understand why people take it SO personally that Kelly Clarkson has gained some weight. I mean… who cares? Kelly has never sold herself as “all about the body” or all about her looks. She’s always been the voice. She’s always been about the music, about positivity, about happiness and not throwing shade. Her weight has fluctuated over the years, and she just gave birth last year and she hasn’t lost the baby weight yet, nor is she in a hurry to lose it. And? Why is that a thing? Why does that offend people to the point where so many feel the need to publicly “shame” her? Or attempt to shame her, because Kelly doesn’t really give a crap.

Following that nonsense with the British professional troll Katie “Trollface” Hopkins, Fox News’ Chris Wallace is the latest to have some rude things to say about Kelly’s weight.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace and radio host Mike Gallagher recently mocked Kelly Clarkson over her weight, in comments made on the latter’s syndicated show. Clarkson has not responded to them. Meanwhile, Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has come to her defense.

“Listen, don’t fat shame me. You do a lot of fat shaming. That’s the new phrase now. ‘Fat shaming,’” Gallagher, 54, who also serves as a Fox News contributor, told Wallace, 67, on The Mike Gallagher Show on Friday, as heard in an audio file posted on Media Matters. “Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up.”

“Really? Do we want to talk about some of your friends?” he replied.

“Well, look at me. I got some weight issues,” Gallagher said. “I could take a little bit of weight off.”

The two offered compliments—Wallace said Clarkson has a “lovely voice” and Gallagher said he loves her singing—before delving back into the nastiness.

“She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while,” Wallace said.

“Well, she had a baby, but man,” Gallagher added.

Clarkson has not responded to their remarks. Van Susteren, 60, posted on her website an excerpt of the interview, saying, “Chris Wallace owes Kelly Clarkson an apology” and “This ‘guy snickering’ about her weight is obnoxious.” Several people echoed her request in comments made on the Facebook page of the host’s show Fox News Sunday.

For the love of God. I never thought I would say this, but Greta Van Susteren is right. Wallace should apologize. He’s the “legitimate newsman” on Fox News and if any other legit newsman had said this, we would expect an apology from them. Oh, and here we go… about 48 hours after Wallace made the initial remarks, he apologized. He said: “I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment. I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her.” The other guy had some words to say too – go here to read.

Meanwhile, when Kelly appeared on The Ellen Show on Friday, she talked about the Katie Hopkins thing (without mentioning Hopkins’ name, because Kelly is BOSS), saying:

“I love how people think that’s new. Like, welcome to the past 13 years! I was considered the biggest girl on American Idol. I wasn’t big, but people would call me big. People are like, ‘I’m so sorry that lady in London was so mean to you.’ And I’m like, ‘Are you serious?’ Like, get in line! I think what hurts my feelings for people is when I’ll have a meet and greet after the show and a girl whose, like, bigger than me will be in the meet and greet and be like, ‘Oh, God!’ And they’ll say, ‘If they think you’re big I must be so fat to them.’ It’s like, you just are who you are. We are who we are—whatever size. It doesn’t mean that we’re gonna be that forever. That’s the thing! Sometimes we’re more fit. Like, especially me. I’m such a creative person that I yo-yo. Sometimes I’m more fit and I get into kickboxing hardcore. And then sometimes I don’t and I’m like, ‘I’d rather have wine.’”

Mario Lopez took his daughter Gia and son Nico to meet with their new furry friend —– well, at least Gia, anyways. Nico, on the other hand, doesn’t seem so sure about the Easter bunny. Noticing this, Mario Lopez added a hilarious caption the photo. Gia, on the other hand, looked like she was having a blast! She had a big smile stretched across her face. Mario shared the photo on his Instagram account with the following caption:

You have to hand it to Giuliana Rancic, she learned a lot from working at E! She’s promoting her new memoir, out tomorrow, called Going Off Script: How I Survived a Crazy Childhood, Cancer, and Clooney’s 32 On-Screen Rejections. Giuliana has been doing interviews and she’s been masterful at giving quotes and getting headlines. She earned four separate stories on People out of a single interview with them, and she saved some good dirt for her employer network, E! They report that in Giuliana’s memoir, she reveals that her ex, Jerry O’Connell, cheated on her with Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice. After Giuliana forgave him, Jerry then cheated again with Rebecca Romijn, whom he of course ended up marrying. The thing is, the article makes it seem like they weren’t that serious anyway. It also makes Jerry look like a doofus and a dumba**. If this is true, I guess that’s Giuliana’s prerogative.

After meeting at the W Hotel in San Diego, the pair developed a special bond that quickly turned into something romantic.

Things suffered a bump, however, when Giuliana found out he was cheating on her with Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.

“I was being two-timed…?” Giuliana wrote in her new book per Page Six before detailing Jerry’s reaction. “‘Yeah, I know. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.’ He has as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.”

Giuliana proved she was willing to forgive when she gave the relationship a second chance. But when attending Maxim’s 100 Hottest Women Party in 2004, the Fashion Police co-host spotted her man getting flirty with Rebecca Romijn.

“Little did I know he was in the VIP area, talking to Rebecca,” Giuliana dished. “As a prelude to feeling up Rebecca.”

In a matter of days, Jerry stopped taking Giuliana’s phone calls before she eventually decided to confront him at home.
“Nope. Sorry, homegirl,” he said while ending the relationship for good. “Things change, but you take care, OK?”

For those keeping track, Jerry and Rebecca ended up getting married in 2007. They have two kids together. Giuliana also found Mr. Right when she married Bill Rancic the same year.

As much as Giuliana bugs with her constant deflection and denial, this memoir sounds interesting. It will probably be as truth y as Giuliana, but it does come across like a fun, easy read. I love how she doesn’t mince details, compares the guy to a “customer service rep,” and makes him sound like a passive aggressive douche.

In the intro I questioned how serious these two were, because I have little memory of the two of them together and the article made it sound like they were just a fling. In fact I found SO MANY photos of them at events from about May, 2003 to June, 2004. The last photo set of them together is at the fated Maxim 100 party were Jerry hooked up with Rebecca Romijn. As part of her tireless promotion, Giuliana was also on The Today Show this morning. (Thanks Jenjennyjenjenjenn!) She addressed the criticism of her weight, (she said “I do not have an eating disorder, I have never had an eating disorder, in fact I eat a lot,”) the sad fact that she lost her final embryo to a miscarriage by her surrogate, er childhood as an emigrant from Italy, and the controversy over her comments on Zendaya’s hair. There are other headlines there, but I’m not going to bite. I’m telling you, she’s a hustler and she’s setting up her post-E! game plan. I do think she should take some time off though.

Here’s Giuliana’s interview on Today. She gets a little nervous talking about her weight and the Fashion Police controversy. When Savannah Guthrie asked Giluiana if she was returning to Fashion Police this September, she said “we’ll see.” I don’t think they know what the hell they’re doing with that show yet.

Jennifer was photographed leaving her hotel on Saturday with her bodyguard and a change of clothes. Page Six reports that she had a quick lunch with Chris at Tavern On The Green …      

I never thought I would write “Gwyneth Paltrow” and “Hustler” in the same sentence, but here we are. Honestly, that’s not even the funniest part of this story. According to Page Six, Gwyneth recently deigned to purchase some commercial property on the Sunset Strip – she (and some investors, I’m assuming) purchased Larry Flynt’s Hustler Hollywood store on Sunset Blvd. Which, quite honestly, I didn’t know still existed. But it did and it probably wasn’t doing that well, or else Gwyneth wouldn’t have been able to purchase it. So what does Gwyneth plan to do with Hustler Hollywood? If your guess was “rock out with her 1970s bush out,” you’re wrong.

Gwyneth Paltrow has purchased a prime piece of Sunset Strip property from Larry Flynt and will replace the publisher’s sex store with a high-end night club, sources said. Flynt’s Hustler Hollywood has been peddling sex toys at 8920 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood since December 1998.

“The building is in escrow and the Hustler Hollywood store will be moving to a new location in Hollywood later this year,” Flynt’s rep, Arthur Sando, said. “The current location will remain open until that time.”

Paltrow and business partner Gary Landesberg quietly made the deal recently, with plans to replace Hustler Hollywood with a super high-end restaurant and night spot, the Arts Club, TMZ reported. The establishment will be modeled on similar clubs in London and Aspen, Colo., with expensive membership fees to join — at least $2,000 — and another $2,000 in annual dues, according to TMZ. There would also be a strict dress code.

Replacing Hustler Hollywood with a fancy members-only, dress-code-having “Arts Club”? How gauche. No, but the Arts Club is a thing – we have photos of celebrities coming out of the Arts Club in London all the time. It’s like the Soho House thing, part of an increasing trend to bring the more British-y, members-only, high-school Mean Girl bitchery and elitism to “going out for a drink with some friends.” One simply cannot go out to a bar with some friends anymore, like a peasant. One must join a members-only club, pay exorbitant annual fees for the pleasure and be turned away on sight if you’re A) above a size 6 or B) not wearing $2000 jeans.
