You’re too mean about bangs, you say. Your hatred for bangs is irrational, you say. Some bangs look good, you say. But still, I say, can’t we all agree that Lea Michele needs a bangs intervention? Because these are possibly the worst bangs I’ve seen in years. These are photos of Lea at this weekend’s Family Equality Council’s LA Awards Dinner. Lea wore a Mason by Michelle Mason jumpsuit. And terrible bangs. Lea was actually out and about during the awards season, and she either put in some temporary extensions or something, but we actually saw her mythical forehead at the DGAs. But now the fringe is back. And it is awful.

So, what is Lea up to these days? Well, she was cast in Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens, so she does have work lined up post-Glee. There’s a problem, though. Ryan Murphy also cast pint-sized diva Ariana Grande, and NO ONE is allowed to out-diva Lea Michele. Sources claim:

“Ariana needs to be the center of attention, so she can’t stand the fact that Ryan is constantly praising Lea and loves any idea she throws out. She rolls her eyes anytime Lea talks…[Michele] does all she can to avoid Ariana in meetings. It’s only a matter of time until this blows up! Ariana thinks that she’s the big star on the show and wants Ryan to cater to her.”

The problem with this story? Apparently, they haven’t even started filming yet. So just consider this a preview of coming attractions, because I swear to God, putting Lea and Ariana in a room together is going to be a hilarious disaster.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian covers the latest issue of Adweek and talks about becoming “really choosy” about her career after welcoming daughter North West, now 1, with husband Kanye West. She goes on to chat about her addiction to selfies and her family’s famous reality show.

On why she created her gaming app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood: “I had just had the baby [North], and so I was being really choosy about what I was working on. I got a call from the company Glu Mobile to partner up and do a video game. I asked my husband, “What do you think of this? What would the concept be?” And he was like, “Oh my God, you have to do a video game? It’s so cool.”

On her addiction to selfies: “So many people think that taking selfies is just ridiculous. For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media just for memories. I’m kind of letting them know, yes, it is ridiculous, but it’s all fun. I take it more as a fun, emotional scrapbook that I love to look back on. It’s not that I brand myself like I’m a celebrity. It’s just I’m living my life and sharing a part of my life with the world. I love sharing my world with people, so I don’t see me just having a freak-out and just stopping. Will I do it forever? I’m not sure. But I love the whole idea of it, especially because you get to share things your way.”

On keeping up with her family’s reality show: “I hope they get out of it that we are a normal family. They may not think we’re normal, [but] we are a family like everyone else’s that goes through so many different things and we’re always there to support each other. There’s always a family member that someone can relate to…We still have a few more years left in us.”

The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 12 recap.

Hey remember when Rick was hot? This episode wanted to remind us that Rick is hot. We go inside Alexandria’s walls, where everyone gets to shower, and Rick shaves his mountain man beard. Alexandria—or rather, this one neighborhood…      

I was sitting here, trying to figure out why Brad Pitt looks so hot in these photos. What is it? I think it’s because he’s actually wearing clothes that fit his still-lean frame, which means he doesn’t look like he’s dressed in Hobo Chic (which has been his style for too long). The all-black looks good on him. And what else? Is it the grey beard? Y’all know I enjoy some facial hair, so that might be what makes Brad so sexy in these photos. That beard looks nice on him. Mm. I could do without the hat though.

These pics are of Brad arriving at LAX to take a flight to France. It feels like we haven’t even seen Brad in months and months, but that’s mostly because Brad and Angelina were nowhere to be seen during the awards season. Which, incidentally, was one of the most boring awards seasons in recent memory. I’m not saying that Brangelina have to put in appearances to make it interesting, but if we don’t get Brangelina, you better give us Julia Roberts, George Clooney and some other major A-listers.

So, what’s Brad up to these days? It’s still believed that Brad will be playing the lead in Africa, the Angelina Jolie-directed bio-pic of Richard Leakey. Before then, Brad will likely start production on The Big Short, with Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carrel. Apparently, that’s supposed to start this month in New Orleans. The premise of the film is very interesting – it’s about the handful of people who successfully predicted the market crash of 2008 and ended up shorting the market for a major profit. Brad has also signed on to a “romantic thriller” set during World War II, which will be directed by Robert Zemeckis. God knows when that will start.

Thor star Chris Hemsworth hit the beach with daughter India, 2.

Proud wife Elsa Pataky shared two sweet snaps of the father-daughter duo via Instagram Monday. “Los motores de mi vida / The engines of my life #family #happiness #beautifulLife #loveThem #father #daughter,” she captioned the photo of Hemsworth lifting and kissing their toddler.

The second shot shows India trying to imitate her father doing a yoga pose on the sand.

“De tal palo, tal astilla! Haz un hueco en tu vida para esos momentos que importan / Like father like daughter!” the Spanish actress, 38, captioned the photo. “Make a space in your life for the little moments that count the most #family #beachTime #yogadad.”

Hemsworth, 31, is enjoying some family time before promoting his upcoming film, Avengers: Age of Ultron. The blockbuster costars the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Kevin Spacey and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Earlier this year, Hemsworth chatted about India and his twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 11 months.

“I think it makes you less selfish, because it’s no longer about you,” he said of fatherhood. “It can’t be. It’s about someone else, which is refreshing. It’s nice to not spend all your time thinking about your own problems and garbage up there and I just have so much fun doing it. It’s the best. And now I’m a bit more choosy, I think, with when I work and how I work because it better be worthwhile to take me away from them.”

Kim Kardashian covers the new issue of AdWeek, and she looks especially kat-faced in the editorial. Some of you have claimed that Kim has had some new “work” to her face. Perhaps. It might explain why she didn’t go out on Oscar night a week ago – she was still “healing”. As for the AdWeek interview, it’s about as vapid as one would expect from Kim Kardashian. She literally talks about selfies and sharing her life on social media and that’s it. Some highlights:

A lot of people complain (justly) about the prevalence of Kardashians in our celebrity gossip world, but for years now, I’ve defended them as gossip mainstays. There are SO MANY slow gossip days saved by the presence of a Kardashian wearing something awful or doing something stupid. If the “real” celebrities are all being sort of boring, why not spend a little time with gossip-filler like the Kardashians?

Kim also spoke to AdWeek about her iOS game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and how it’s an enormous success. Apparently, Kanye was the one to tell her she should put her name on a game, but the success of the game surprised everyone. You can read more here.

Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio really cares about winning an Oscar? That’s a real question that I’ve debated with myself a few times. On one side, I don’t think Leo has any interest in shilling his way through a major Oscar campaign. He’s already Leo, you know? Why would he beg for it? He hasn’t had to beg for anything in more than a decade. But on the other side, yes, I think Leo probably does feel the sting every now and then, that he was snubbed for an Oscar nomination for Titanic (not to mention The Departed, which was one of my favorite Leo performances) and that he’s received four acting nominations throughout his career and it’s always someone else’s “turn.” So maybe that’s why Leo has signed on to a film that seems like the biggest Oscar-bait that was ever baited: he will be playing a real man with multiple personality disorder. Leo will be playing 24 different characters all in one character.

Leonardo DiCaprio is getting closer to playing a role he’s eyed for nearly 20 years — that of Billy Milligan, who was the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a defense in a court of law.

DiCaprio’s Appian Way has come aboard to produce The Crowded Room with New Regency, while Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg have been hired to write the adapted script. The Crowded Room has been set up at New Regency for years, but never got off the ground (the project has been dormant for a decade). Smilovic’s hire gives renewed life to the adaptation of Daniel Keyes’ nonfiction tome about Milligan, who had 24 personalities. DiCaprio has been interested in playing him stretching back to 1997.

Published in 1981, Keyes’ book chronicles Milligan’s story, including his court trial in the late 1970s in Ohio after being charged with robbery and raping three women on the Ohio State University campus.

In the preparation of his defense, Milligan — who died in December 2014 — was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. Pleading insanity, he and his lawyers contended that two of his alternate personalities committed the crimes without his knowledge. He was the first to use this defense, and the first to be acquitted for this reason. Milligan’s various personalities included Adalana, a lesbian taking responsibility for the rapes; Ragen, a Yugoslavian communist who admitted to the robbery; and Arthur, an uptight Englishman.

Hollywood has long wanted to bring Milligan’s story to the big screen. High-profile directors who previously circled the project include James Cameron.

I can already see one problem with a potential Oscar campaign: Leo will be playing someone who committed violent crimes against women, women who are presumably still alive. The film will be seen as glorifying an admitted rapist. That’s just a preview of what the other Best Actor Oscar nominees will be saying when they’re up against Leo. But yes, this part sounds like one of the biggest Oscar-bait roles in history. Leo just needs to work it out so one personality is in a wheelchair, one personality has a speech impediment, one personality has an incurable disease, one personality is a monarch or despot, etc. Just throw in every award-winning character trope into one character. Leo’s going to produce this as well, which means he’ll have a lot of control over the direction of the script.

A-list BFFs Taylor Swift and Jaime King announced some exciting news via Instagram Sunday.

“Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one…..(ME),” Swift, 25, captioned a shot cradling King’s growing baby bump.

The Hart of Dixie actress, 35, who announced her baby news last month, posted another photo of her and Swift looking down on her belly.

“And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!!! Xx,” the expectant mama Instagrammed.

King and husband Kyle Newman are already parents to son, James Knight, 16 months, who was conceived after an eight-year struggle with fertility problems, including 5 miscarriages and 5 rounds of IVF.

James Knight has two celebrity godparents: Jessica Alba and Topher Grace!

King chatted about choosing Alba as her first-born child’s godmother.

“She is such an incredible parent and I chose her because she really showed me what it is like to be a great mom and a great working mom,” King told E! News.
