Addison 1 Birthday_227

The Bachelorette alum DeAnna Pappas Stagliano and husband Stephen Stagliano celebrated their daughter Addison Marie‘s first birthday at their L.A.-based home on Saturday (February 7).

“The highlight of the party was Addison tearing into her Fantasy Frostings smash cake,” DeAnna tells Celebrity Baby Scoop of the Sprinkled with Love-themed birthday bash.

“She has never had sweets before and it was so fun to watch her go crazy with it,” the proud mama adds. “She couldn’t get enough and she was smiling constantly. She didn’t sleep for the rest of the day because of the sugar overload but, she sure enjoyed it.”

With event décor created by Laura Stewart Design, the afternoon soirée boasted a color scheme of bright pink, lime green, yellow, turquoise and metallic gold. The gals from Good Carma Studio also helped host the posh event.

Guest enjoyed several fun activities, including Munchkin eating/drinking/playing stations, a confetti balloon bar, neon rice sensory station, custom crowns, a photo booth and custom chalkboard signage.

“Addison is loving her new Munchkin toys and sippy cups, labeled with her name using Mabel’s Labels,” DeAnna shares. “No more bottles for this big girl. She has been obsessed with her Playskool Stack’ n Stow Cups – anything she can bang on, the better. And, as you can see in the pictures, she loves her adorable white Stride Rite shoes.”

Invitations for the milestone birthday were created by Loudhouse Creative, and flower arrangements were provided by Bashful Rose. Not to mention, the dessert table and cake was created by Fantasy Frostings.

Guests noshed on a delicious spread of salads, traditional macaroni and cheese and other BBQ items from Stonefire Grill paired with sparkling water from La Croix.

“Let’s be honest, the birthday parties are for us!,” admits DeAnna. “Addison won’t remember it but hopefully she will enjoy the pictures.”

When asked if kids’ parties are too over-the-top these days, the reality star says, “I think it is up to the parents.”

“I realize Addison’s party may have been over-the-top to some, but for us it was a perfect celebration for our little blessing,” she adds. “She is such a joy to be around and we wanted to show her how much we love her. And, thankfully, to show that we all survived her first year.”

Guests left with gift bags filled with goodies from Munchkin, Mabel’s Labels Loot Bag Combos, Net Nanny online protection software, USANA family packs, Clean Kids from Gabriel Cosmetics, Nail Garden Certificates, SuperPop Snacks, and more.

“Motherhood has been awesome,” gushes the reality star. “Some days are tough and exhausting, but I really have enjoyed every second of it. Every milestone, every smile, every tiny little laugh — I can’t seem to get enough!”

“I cannot express in words what I feel for Addison,” she adds. “She consumes me. I am completely obsessed with her. She and Stephen are my greatest loves and biggest blessings.”

And it sounds like they’ll be adding to their brood sooner rather than later.

“I definitely want more children,” DeAnna shares. “Addison loves being around other babies. We are trying and hopefully will give her a little brother or sister soon.”

This is ridiculous.

This? This is what we were waiting for, all cutesy-poo ‘we can’t tell you’ secret baby names and nurses under-gag-order styles?

This past Super Bowl was the 10th anniversary of Janet Jackson and that punk who let her eat all the sh-t that happened after. I was thinking about that the other day because we’ve been playing some Janet in the studio during commercial breaks. And then I thought about how much I miss Janet…

In Hollywood, even florists are famous. In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Hollywood’s most well-connected florist, Eric Buterbaugh is profiled, along with his three closest celebrity friends, Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, and Nicole Richie.

Obviously.

There’s not a lot…

Kate Middleton Wows In White

Expectant mum Kate Middleton was simply radiant Thursday (February 12) during her visit to the site of Ben Ainslie Racing and the 1851 Trust headquarter in Portsmouth, England.

Looking every bit the royal mum-to-be, the Duchess of Cambridge, 33, wowed in a white Max Mara “Villar” coat, cinched at the waist with a skinny belt, making her growing baby bump all the more apparent.

Underneath the lovely coat, Kate wore a Somerset by Alice Temperley shift dress with sailboat print, accessorized with a navy blue clutch by LK Bennett and Jimmy Choo “Georgia” pumps.

The Duchess met with members of the local sailing community to learn more about their bid to win America’s Cup for Britain.

After greeting the crowds of well-wishers, Kate painted her own contribution to a mural created by locals at Sir Ben’s headquarters.

The official visit, arranged through nonprofit organization Place2Be, came on the heels of the royal family’s vacation in Mustique. The Duchess – who was joined by husband, Prince William, and their 18-month-old son Prince George – celebrated her mother Carole’s 60th birthday on the Caribbean island.

Amy Pascal was at the Women in the World conference yesterday. Pascal, of course, was head of Sony during the big Gossip Dump of 2014 when all those hacked emails were released. As Sarah wrote last week (click here for a refresher), it was recently announced that she’s leaving Sony but is h…

Here’s the cover of Marie Claire Australia’s March issue, with Gwyneth Paltrow. It’s a bad cover for her, right? While I make fun of Our Lady of Perpetual Goops, she usually photographs well and she’s usually up for a good editorial. Anyway, in this MC interview, Gwyneth admits that she and Chris Martin had actually separated a year before their conscious uncoupling announcement. Which means both were free and clear to fool around with other people, I suppose. Some highlights:

The quiet separation: Marie Claire Australia claims she purchased a house as long ago as 2012 and then went through ‘a year of quiet separation’.

Working with Johnny Depp while she and Chris separated: “Nobody knew what Chris and I had been going through, so I didn’t say, ‘Hey, this is what’s happening,’ but I did ask him mostly children-centric questions, like, ‘How is it on them?’ and ‘How did you do it?’”

On her split: “It’s very sad. You have an expectation of your life, and it’s sad to change that expectation.”

The “conscious uncoupling” term: “OK, you can make fun of the term or whatever. I didn’t invent it.”

She and Chris are still tight: “We’ve worked really f–king hard to get to [this] point. But we’re very, very close, and it’s so nice. I feel like it’s, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have.”

[From The Daily Mail & E! News]

At this point… yeah, of course she’s admitting it. We knew it already. She and Chris had spent several years living largely separate lives. They barely spent any time together. In fact, they spend so much time together post-split that I bet it sort of confuses their kids.

Other Goop news… Us Weekly had a funny story about Gwyneth bringing her kids to the Grammys and then trying to explain to them the difference between the awards for albums and records. Star Magazine also has a story about Gwyneth and her undercover boyfriend Brad Falchuk. Apparently, they’re still together but Brad wants to go public with their romance and really be her “official”. A source tells Star: “At first they were waiting for the hype around their relationship to die down, but now there’s no more excuses. He wants to start walking red carpets hand in hand.” They should totally go to the Oscars together.

Here are some pics of Gwyneth at the Grammys. Her dress was Stella McCartney. I don’t completely hate it, which shocked me.

I totally forgot that this film was made. It seems like The Man From UNCLE was filed two years ago, right? Right. Anyway, there was just a flurry of newly released material for the film, including a poster, a still and a trailer. The film is a reboot (of sorts) of the classic 1960s show, with Henry Cavill starring at the CIA super-agent Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer starring as the KGB super-agent Illya Kuryakin. They’re forced to team up together on a special mission. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie and there’s bonus Alicia Vikander and Hugh Grant in there. Here’s the trailer:

My take? It actually looks pretty good. I could see where there would be a temptation to turn this into a straight-up spoof, in the manner of Austin Powers, but it seems more like they’re doing a straight-up reboot with some comedic elements. Henry Cavill’s accent work sounds really good too – he genuinely sounds American. I’m not sure about Armie’s accent work though. For most of the trailer, I thought he was doing a German accent.

The film doesn’t come out until August 14th, which seems like a long time to wait. Is it being dumped in the no-man’s-land of August releases? Because I think if this film had a major press campaign, they could really sell it. It looks like a charming spy caper. But don’t look at me, I love spy movies.

It’s all kinds of porny—suit porny, handsome-guy-porny, spy porny—but mostly it’s straight vintage porn. The first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is here and it looks amazing. I mean literally, it LOOKS amazing. Ritchie has always been a stylish di…
