Paula Abdul may be done with American Idol, but her kindness in judging will remain – as Victoria Beckham plans to be nice when judging the contestants on the hit music show.

Also, like Paula, Posh expects she and Simon Cowell will not always find themselves in agreement.

“I like that fact that’s he’s honest. I think he’s very funny,” Victoria told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Friday. “He has a very tongue-in-cheek British sense of humor, which I have too. I’m looking forward to a bit of banter. I hope he does give me a little bit of a hard time. I love that. I feed off of that.”

The two judges don’t know each other well yet, but she says, “He is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work.”

The 35-year-old was asked if she would fill Paula Abdul’s shoes of being the nurturing judge and responded with, “I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged. I don’t want to shatter anybody’s drea, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”

Does Mrs Beckham feel guilty or apprehensive about taking Abdul’s spot? “I don’t. I’m a spiritual person and I believe that you get back what you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better. There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”

After flying out of LAX Airport yesterday, Mrs Beckham is currently in Denver watching the first round of auditions.

The Emmy Award-winning actress, perhaps best known for her role as Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married. with Children, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The potentially deadly disease if left untreated was caught early during a routine MRI Christina Applegate recently had. The 36-year-old actress is expected to fully recover, her rep said. "Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery," Ame Van Iden said.

A man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly attempting to stalk Miley Cyrus, and now the Disney star has been granted a temporary restraining order against him.

Reports filed in the Superior Court of Chatham County, GA, say that Mark McLeod “shall not harass, threaten, molest, contact or attempt to contact, or in any other manner interfere with Cyrus, any member of her family, her friends, and fellow employees.”

McLeod had told cops he was getting “secret messages” from Miley through her television show.

His bond is set at $50,000 and he has also been hit with a restraining order.

Out enjoying the summertime weather, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted driving around Los Angeles on Thursday (August 6).

Now set to receive his punishment on August 27, Chris made a plea agreement which calls for five years of probation and six months of community labor for his assault on now ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Their HBO series keeps getting more and more popular, and now co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are showing that their love for one another has been gaining momentum, as well.

The “True Blood” lovers are engaged to be married, with reps for both Anna and Stephen confirming the big news to People magazine.

Offering up no further details, Paquin and Moyer have been together since filming the pilot of “True Blood” – going public with their romance February of this year.
