Weird Al Yankovic was just involved in a three-car fender-bender in Hollywood. It was a simple chain reaction as a taxi cab rear-ended a car that rear-ended the comedic singer. It was also said that everyone was fine, no one was hurt or sustained any injuries and the people involved even exchanged information before going on their separate ways. A witness on the scene also said that Al was especially cool, calm and collected after the crash and was even waving to fans. It wasn’t a big accident anyway. Everyone in California turns into a crappy driver when it starts to rain anyway.

Madonna babysat went to dinner with her rumored-to-be boy-toy, Jesus Luz, last night in Los Angeles.

Sources tell me that the 50-year-old mother of three and the 22-year-old smokin’ hot Brazilian model hit the Grey Goose party at the new West Hollywood outpost of London’s famed Italian brasserie Cecconi’s. They arrived at about 9:30 pm and stayed for close to three hours at a table with two other people.

Whether or not the two are an actual romantic couple is still a question. Sources down in Brazil tell me they are just friends. And crafty staffers at the restaurant managed to arrange for Madge and Jesus to come and go without the paparazzi getting so much as a single shot.

Also at the eatery was Marisa Tomei, who was hosting a dinner to celebrate her Oscar nomination for her work in The Wrestler. By her side was her smokin’ hot actor beau, Logan Marshall-Green, who at 34 is 10 years younger than Tomei.

A graduate student from China named Xin Yang was decapitated with a kitchen knife in a campus cafe at Virginia Tech by another graduate student named Haiyang Zhu. Police said Zhu knew the victim. Read more on the Virginia Tech murder below.

Xin Yang, 22, was murdered on Wednesday night after arriving at the campus from Beijing on January 8 to  study accounting, Virginia Tech Police Chief Wendell Flinchum stated.

Yang’s accused attacker, 25-year-old Haiyang Zhu of Ningbo, China, knew her but police have yet to discover the motive for the murder. Police said that Haiyang was listed as one of Xin Yang’s emergency contacts.

Haiyang has been charged with first-degree murder and being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.

Haiyang Zhu and Xin Yang reportedly were having coffee at a campus cafe where Xin was living. Others at the cafe said they had not noticed any arguing before the attack happened.

Police received two 911 calls and were on the scene very quickly to arrest Haiyang.

University officials said Haiyang began attending last fall and was a PhD student in agricultural and applied economics.

The stabbing was the first killing on campus since a mass killing on campus in 2007, when a student gunman shot 32 people and then took his own life.

“An act of violence like this brings back memories of April 16,” university President Charles Steger said. “I have no doubt that many of us feel especially distraught.”

Virginia Governor Timothy M. Kaine offered condolences to the campus.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Xin Yang today – and with the broader Virginia Tech community,” he said in a statement.

“The tragic attack on campus this week has no doubt revived terrible memories for countless members of the Hokie family.”

Vin Diesel is reportedly in talks with producers to portray the robot assassin originally portrayed by Arnold Schwarzeneggerin the new Terminator movie. Vin has already signed up to return to his role of racer Dominic Torretto in The Fast and the Furious 4 later this year. Terminator 4 is set for release in 2009.

Victoria Beckham dVb Demin Line Dropped By Saks Fifth Avenue And it’s another Fashion Foul Up for Victoria Beckham. The British-born stylista’s denim line, dVb by Victoria Beckham, was just drop-kicked by Saks Fifth Avenue, fashion insiders squeal.

Reports that .  Ever since NBC pulled the plug on her primetime series Las Vegas, many started to speculate that the actress might return to daytime TV to reprise her infamous role as Brenda on General Hospital.  Even her former on-screen love interest on the soap, Maurice Benard, has welcomed the idea of her possible comeback.

“I’m all for it,” Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital, told Soap Opera Digest at the height of the rumorsMarcil first played the role of Brenda Barrett on General Hospital in 1992.  Her most notable storyline involved a love triangle between her, mobster Sonny Corinthos and corporate raider Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).  During her stint on the soap, she earned Daytime Emmy Award nominations in 1997 and 1998, and won in 2003 for Outstanding Supporting Actress. She was also named Outstanding Lead Actress at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 1998.

After General Hospital, Marcil worked on the television movie To Love, Honor and Deceive, and landed a recurring guest role on the police drama High Incident. She also attracted a solid following as Gina Kincaid on Beverly Hills 90210 where she remained with the show for one and a half seasons.

Last year, Marcil was reportedly offered another chance to reprise her signature role on the ABC soap.  However, things didn’t turn out as planned as she was busy with the series Lipstick Jungle and as the host of Lifetime’s reality television show, Blush: The Search For the Next Great Makeup Artist.  Because of this, other actresses have been rumored to fill in the role of Brenda, including Alyssa Milano of Charmed fame.

Most recently, however, Marcil hints that 2009 might be the year her character Brenda returns to General Hospital.
