U.S. reality TV personality Kim Kardashian is to serve as host of a 1-hour special called "25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!,

The program is to air on ABC Nov. 17 and is to feature an exclusive on-camera interview with People magazine’s as-yet-unnamed 2010 Sexiest Man Alive.

The special goes behind the scenes to reveal for the first time People magazine’s selection process, and features highlights from the iconic issue since its debut in 1985, ABC said in a news release Monday.

Past honorees include Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Making for another action-packed year’s ceremony, the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards have come to a close after a stirring show in Madrid, Spain on Sunday.

With Eva Longoria tending to hosting duties, the big winner this time around ended up being Lady Gaga, who won three trophies including Best Song for “Bad Romance”.

Held at La Caja Magica, other triumphant acts included Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, while performers such as Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Kid Rock treated the crowd to energetic stage efforts.

With the show airing in the States on MTV2 on Sunday (November 7) at 9PM, the complete list of winners at the 2010 MTV EMAs are as follows:

Looking ready to take their relationship to the ultimate level, Karina Smirnoff is engaged to marry her baseball star boyfriend Brad Penny.

The "Dancing with the Stars" beauty showed off her huge new diamond ring at a TAO Las Vegas party on Saturday night (November 6) and revealed her partner proposed in early October.

She told People magazine, "We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad’s family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag."

The pair started dating in October of 2009, shortly after Smirnoff broke off her engagement to fellow professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Demi Lovato has shut down her Twitter account, abandoned her post on The Jonas Brothers’ concert tour, and checked into rehab for treatment of what insiders say is an emotional breakdown.

The altercation was the wakeup call Demi needed to reach out for help.

“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” the statement read. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.” Best wishes to Demi.

Like sports, has the ‘fixing syndrome’ entered the glamour world as well? If reports are to be believed, the results of the Miss World 2010 beauty pageant which crowned Miss USA Alexandria Mills as the new Miss World was fixed. Speculations were rife ever since the results were declared this Saturday and now it is being said that the judges at the event were under pressure from host country China to declare the US teenager as Miss World 2010.

It is further being said that Miss Norway Mariann Birkedal, who was till yesterday being referred to as the best contestant in this year’s competitions to win the pageant, was not even featured on the top five list because of the animosity that China harbors against Norway after the Nobel committee declared Liu Xiaobo as the winner of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. While many are of the opinion that every year’s pageant is politically biased, this year it was only politics which became the deciding factor in the last stages of competition. Though nobody Is sure about why China nominated Miss USA as Miss World 2010, the reasons for which the others were evicted were pretty obvious.

Charlie Sheen is divorcing his wife Brooke Mueller less than a week after police were called to Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel and found the actor drunk and disoriented in a drug-fueled frenzy, a source told PEOPLE Magazine Monday.

Charlie and Brooke married in May 2008, and have 1-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, born March 19, 2009. The two separated in April. Their marriage took a turn for the worse last Christmas Eve when they were involved in knife-wielding showdown in Aspen that resulted in domestic violence charges being filed against Sheen. Sheen is currently on probation, which wraps up on Tuesday, after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of third degree assault. The Two and a Half Men star entered rehab after incident and the actor was ordered by the court to attend domestic violence counseling.

We hear that last May, the now-exes signed a post-nup giving Mueller a one-time settlement of $750,000, plus $55,000 a month in child support. A hefty sum even for Sheen, the highest-paid sitcom star on the small screen. Brooke’ll also get primary custody of 1-year-old twins Bob and Max, with Sheen receiving visitation rights.

FYI: Adult film actress Capri Anderson, aka Christina Walsh, 22, is the mystery woman who allegedly locked herself in the bathroom, naked, the night Sheen ransacked his NYC hotel room.

What did they do to Justin Bieber?! Nothing, says Brazilian teen-interest magazine Todateen Star.

The editors at the Portuguese-language publication have angrily responded to criticism that it gave singing superstar Justin Bieber a glammed-up makeup makeover on the cover of their November issue. The poor lad already gets enough flak for being kind of girly, and now these people have gone and dolled him up in lipstick and eyeliner!

We’re not sure if The Beeb actually wore makeup for the shoot or whether the mag staff Photoshopped it on afterwards. .But we do know that whatever flies with Brazilian Beliebers isn’t flying with Bieber Fanatics in the rest of the world. The cover has sparked a firestorm of outrage on social networking and fan sites across the web, forcing Todateen Star to release a statement on the controversy, which The Huffington Post translated from Portuguese.

“We could not help noticing your comments and tweets from the picture of Justin on the cover of Star Todateen. We would like to say that there was no change made in the area of the singer’s eyes. We had a technical problem that darkens certain areas of the photo. We also want to say that all of us find Justin very naturally beautiful. We’d never think it’s necessary to alter pictures of him. Natural beauty says it all, right?” the statement read.
